 One key to my heart
One song of my soul
One lock, one melody
One dream, one goalMy most heavily symbolic picture yet. Not much rhyme and less reason, but after being awake for 26+ hours, it's not that bad. ^_^ I'm still going to be tinkering when I can hold a paintbrush again.

I see amazing potential here. The things that draw me are the tone, style, texture, concept, and background. Amazing shading too; I wonder what the medium for this is...?

The eyes are a tad out of proportion, but other than that its amazing! =D

It's watercolor with a little ink. And coffee. I like painting with espresso--it makes the picture smell good, and I can never seem to mix that shade of brown. ^_^
Her eyes are supposed to be overlarge. I wanted to get the "eyes following you" effect and really make an impact with their color.

Coffee... Mm... This does not count as playing with food, now does it.
Oh how I do like the concept of it all... And not that bad of a poem for 25 hours of non-stop work.

Thanks. The picture itself only took about 3 hours, but I had a 12 work shift the night before, and when I got home in the morning, my husband felt horrible, so I let him sleep in until noon. Then there was the usual Friday errands to run, and then I decided that painting with coffee was the only way to keep my sanity. @_@

This is why I'm not the best when it comes to giving feedback. Every time I look at it, I notice something different each time. This time I noticed the hands and how they're drawn... I could take parts of this and use it as a reference picture.
