Be careful who you decide to share a bed with. Rikuo found out the hard way. After meeting a really attractive young man by the name of Shinto, they retreat to a hotel room and spend the night together. Rikuo wakes up the next morning to find that Shinto is actually a male prostitute and has left him a 15,000 yen bill!
After sneaking out of the room, Rikuo thinks he has just avoided the situation. Far from the truth. Rikuo is later hunted down from boys of the same whore house and, once captured, is forced to pay for the night of pleasure with one of the business's best. Poor Rikuo, he's a struggling student, bareling making ends meet and paying for his education, there's no way he can pay the bill.

The House
The building in which this story takes place is an old 18th Century Victorian Style Mansion, three stories high. The top two stories are for the X-rated business that makes "The Gentleman's Club" so famous (and imfamous).
But some members of the house hold are either too young or have suffered a most traumatizing past to even work as a prostitute, that's were our dear Lady B came up with the brilliant idea of turning the bottom storie into a fancy Cafe and Bakery. Exquisit sweets, savouring drinks, and fresh breads are made daily.

Synei is gruff and rude a lot of the time, but people tend to get used to it after a while. With clients, he is very flirty and sensual, but it is all fake. (Though it still shocks people the first time he "switches" personalities for his job.)

Bio: Ai was abandoned at birth, he was taken in by pity from the man who was his father. He never knew him as nothing other then his master. His mother was after all a maid and the man's lover. He was successful, single, and abusive. Matsuka, Ai's master and father, took a liking to him when he noticed that Ai resembled his mother. Therefore, to survive he was to work for Matsuka day and night. Come to his every call and stay silent and obedient or suffer the consequences. He was abused on numerous occasions when he was resilient and or rebellious towards the master's wishes. Locked in a dark, cold and empty room for weeks on end, starved, beaten, and worked to the bone. He was miserable, he hated the way they treated him. Ai came to detest his master and everything about his "home". The only thing which kept him there was his only friend, Tsue. Someone he thought he could trust, but ended up deceiving him, making him intangible to others. But Matsuka found out and on one of his drunken rampages let his rage out on Ai, who was hanging onto his dear life. As his only defense he had to fight back, sadly striking his father/master down with a fireplace pike. The blood, the sight of it all left him in a broken state. He wandered off, alone to the city where he survived at all cost. He locked away his past, started with a new slate and tried to cover the traumatic indentations it left inside of him. Starting a new, he tried making meats end, but failed. He had no real schooling, no real talents except for serving others and appeasing their every need. He caught whispers of a Gentleman's club. He decided to ask for a job and got it. He's been working there since he was 16.
Personality: Quiet, helpful, sweet, sometimes quite sarcastic, occasionally blunt, sensitive, and can be literal at times. He never really talks much about his past, keeps to himself. Not very clingy but if he ever finds someone he can truly trust he does get a little attached in a small way. He knows how to please any man if given the chance, he can be quite the tease for fun and just for the hell of it. He's easy to get along with once you get to know him. Ai is very sensitive when referring to relationships, family, or love in general; he's never known real love.
Other: He plays the piano, violin, and writes(poetry, music). He keeps himself busy most of the time, he doesn't like free time, and even when he has it he pracitces or writes a song or a poem. Bio: Glorlanthir and his brother Gildhros were thrown out of their house because they were gay, but that wasn�t all. They went to look for work but couldn�t find anyone that would let two 17 year old boys work for them. Eventually they were picked up by Radevel Taibel. The two of them went to work for him at Lurkers Lair. Glorlanthir actually liked to work there, liked to be used and abused as he was. He developed a crush on Rabevel and did anything that he could to please him. Unfortunately when Talis came, and Radevel started to show affection for him Glorlanthir was convinced by his brother to leave. They, both now 18, went to at �The Gentlemen�s Club� and have stayed there ever since. Unfortunately Glorlanthir still idolizes Radevel and would probably go back to the Lurkers Lair if he was ever asked.
Personality: Glorlanthir is, on the outside, almost always happy. He does have his moments but they�re normally few and far between. He tries to be nice to people and doesn�t like to have to burden them with his own problems. He�s cheerful, bordering on hyper, and likes to smile and talk with people. If he can help to cheer someone up then he tries.

He doesn�t like the second job, but he does it so that his brother won�t have to. Of course he doesn�t know that Glorlanthir works as a prostitute anyway.
Personality: Gildhros is the quieter of the two brothers, although he has a tendency to give into flurries of anger if something happens to his brother. He�s protective, but still nice to people. He tries to help them if he can, but he and his brother come first. He was the one that had the most problems with their father and he is still somewhat troubled by what happened. He tries to protect people who are weaker than him and he tries to help them� if it�s not too much of a problem.

Appearance: Johann is of moderate height, measuring an average six feet, and has smooth blonde hair that falls about his face in uneven locks. His eyes are a soft blue, and they never seem to lose the smile that is usually playing on his lips. His face is handsome, and one can see in his eyes that he is by no means inexperienced, but his demeanor is one so gentle and shy that it can be misleading. His build is slender, but exquisitely formed, with finely toned muscles and sensitive, fair skin. He can usually be seen wearing a collar or necklace of some sort. His favorite of which being a long, silver chain, with a tiny, silver pawprint hanging from it. Overall, Johann is very attractive, and carries himself as though he knows so.

Personality: Johann is ultimately loving and gentle, and absolutely loves people, to the extent that he will give almost anyone a chance to redeem themself if they've crossed him. He prefers those younger than him, (both as people and as partners), but is very outgoing and sweet to any who desire him to be so. He has always been a mentor of sorts to those younger (and more foolish) than himself, such as his younger siblings, nieces and nephews, and those particular members of his family who always seem to get themselves into trouble. History: Johann grew up in a noble family. His father, Malachai Tiernan, was a very strict, but loving man, who insisted that all of his children grow up into fine ladies and gentlemen. So Johann was trained in everything from the culinary arts to foreign language. The family was like a typical noble family in many ways, but one was most prominent: Lord Malachai tried at every available opportunity to marry his children off to other upstanding members of society. His eyes are brown and green, and he wears his brown hair long, usually in a ponytail, it's wavey and has ringlets. It's all one length, having bangs would piss him off to no end. Bio: He's found himself at the Gentlemen's Club because he wants to forget about reality for a little while. It's not just a requisite depressing backstory either, he's just lost someone quite close to him (I'll get into that in the "Other:" section). So here he's come, seeking to surround himself with people concerned only with providing him with pleasure and taking all his money. He's had a few different trades in his life, but mostly, he's a magician. He's been making the transition over to canyon-trail guide.
Personality: ((I had someone else write this who knows the character pretty well)) He's sarcastic, witty, innocent (compared to ((editing out character's name)) atleast who's wtfjadedlikenoonesbuisness.) and almost, almost, seems like he's pleasently oblivious to things some of the time. Dashing. Romanticly stupid (In a good way, I swear.) and probably a bit of a daredevil though he tries to be too soft to actually be one.

Bio: Having opened up his own 'gentleman's club' around the same time as Lady B's own, his was never quite as successful. It was his first day off in months. No school work. No shift at the supermarket cleaning ailes. A day to just take a breather and relax. If only the music wasn't so loud and there wasn't as many people in the building.
Rikuo's friend Take had convinced him to join him at the grand opening of a new night bar on the edge of the main streets. While his friend was getting friendly with some cute boys, Rikuo was left at the tables, drinking by himself.
Why did I let him talk me into going to this place? I never liked huge events and s**t.. too many people... uh I think my ears a bleeding
He sipped away on his fith drink until it was dry. A disapointed, and drunk growl escaped his lips, knowing that he'll want more and he'll have to plow through the countless bodies that were in the way, then scream at the bartender for another drink. Repeating himself a few times. With a heavy sigh, he forced himself up, squeesed through the crowd and got to the bar just to find that there was no bartender. He had just gone on his break and his replacement hadn't come on shift yet.
"s**t..." he cursed and took a seat, resting his head on the counter.

"You look as if you got dragged to this place," the youth continued to talk as he reached for his drink and took a sip. He looked down at his watch and sighed. "Damn b*****d set me up..."
He turned his head, "Where you suppose to meet someone here?"
The youth nodded his head with his eyes closed and head rested in the palm of his hand, "About two hours ago."
There was a moment of silence between the two, when Rikuo sat up, "I'll take you."
The boy blinked, "Are you sure? I'm not cheap."
"I never said you were and you sure as hell don't look it." Finally the bartender was on shift, running around, taking up and trying to make up for lost time. Rikuo waved and ordered two drinks for him and his new friend.

Rikuo held his glass up in the air to make a toast to his new friend, "The only thing better than being miserable alone is being miserable with someone else."
The boy laughed and drank to that. "I'm Shinto," the boy introduced himself before placing his empty glass on the counter.
"Rikuo," he replied and downed his drink. "Uh.. I don't know which is giving me the headache. The alcohol or the ear shattering music."
Shinto laughed, "I'd say the music more than anything. Hey, because you're my new date, you wanna get out of here and go somewhere else?"
"Anywhere's better than here. If my friend starts to wonder where I am, he can find out tomorrow morning when I yell at him for bringing me here."

The two left the night club and made their way down the streets.
"So where do you want to go?" Rikuo asked, watching cars drive past them.
"How about your place?"
"Nah, it's too dirty. I haven't really had much time to clean it. What about your place?"
Shinto let out a small laugh, "I would rather not. The place was crawling with people when I left."
"Oh, a room mate of yours is holding a party?" Rikuo looked over at Shinto. His headache was gone by now.
"You could say that," he smiled and looked up at the clear, stary night. "But I think I might know a little place we can go."

Shinto lead the way and after some time of walking, he lead them to a nice little motel called "One Star".
Rikuo raised an eyebrow and looked at his companion, "What are we doing here?"
He didn't even bother to answer Rikuo's question before walking inside and paying for room and board. He came back to Rikuo's side with a key in his hand and taking the older boy's hand with the other, leading him to their room.
Surprised and a little intrigued, Rikuo decided to play along and followed Shinto inside.

"Nice place," he said as he looked the small room. Rikuo hadn't noticed that Shinto had locked the door behind them.
"So what exactly are we doing here? A place to crash while you're friend's throwing his party?" Rikuo joked as he peaked into the bathroom.
"I had... a little more in mind.." Shinto replied, his voice now low and seductive.
He paused for a moment before slowly turning his head towards the young boy, to find him half naked and on the bed, bitting his lower lip, looking hungry.
HOLY s**t
"W-wh-what are you doing?" he studdered, trying to make sense of everything.
"Shhh..." he whispered and stood up, placing a finger on the older boy's lips before kissing him
He was lost for words. He was blushing as if he was on fire. His heart raced. Just what the hell is going on!? This really can't be happening, can it? And if it is.. then it's all too fast. Rikuo stood there like stone as Shinto continued to kiss him. Slowly, he regained control of his body and held the other tighter, deeping their kiss.
Ah, the hell with it. At least I'll get some action.

The morning sun shone through the window of the tiny motel room, lighting up the stage where some every exciting events happened. Rikuo layed on the bed, still asleep while Shinto was in the washroom, taking a quick shower and cleaning himself up.
Rikuo muffled something and turned around, expecting to wrap his arm around his lover to find nothing but blankets and a pillow. He opened his eyes, disappointed that the boy was not still in bed with him. A heavy sigh, he pushed himself out of bed and scratched his head, letting out a wide yawn. He lowered his head to grab his pants when he noticed a piece of paper on the side table. Curious, he picked it up. His heart skipped a beat.

"I have to get out of here...," Rikuo scrambled around for his clothing, keeping a close, open ear incase the bathroom door opened and he would get caught during his escape. He didn't even bother putting on his underware before slipping his pants on and grabbing his remaining articles of clothing. He forced his foot into the heel of his shoes, and in one swift move, left the motel and the boy behind.
