Oqaia I need to be introduced to the infants. And to you! (I want to meet with two of you at a time, light rp sessions. 25 couplets a piece.)
What supplies do we need when we go trading on the Pythos? Make lists, bring them to Whistle Stick. (Anyone who brings a decent 'list' gets 5 couplets. ^_^ May only be a few items. May be more.)

Caroline, who had been sweeping the front steps to Mountain Air, notices Lesh approach a stranger. Well, not exactly a stranger. Caroline knew that this newcomer bore some relation to their caravan leader, but had never had the time to go introduce herself. She shrugs, puts her broom away, and scoops up her girl. "Let's go meet her, aye?" she tells her.
"Halloo!" she calls, approaching. "Do hope I'm not intruding. Just thought I'd wander over and introduce myself," she says jovially to Oqaia.

"Oh no, Caroline, no intrusion..." Shy smiled at her friend, "I was just about to introduce myself as well...Great minds think alike, I guess" She chuckled lightly and then looked back at Oqaia. "I hope we're not overwhelming you...It just seems that none of us have properly introduced ourselves to you. Such a shame on our parts." She shifted Ani on her hip and then extended her hand to Oqaia, "My name is Leshya'e...and this is Anezka."

Oqaia beamed at the two women with their infants, and beckoned for them to join her, seated about the great iron pot that had the stew for the day in it.
"Please, sit! I'm delighted to meet you all properly. What a nice gesture. But please do, make yourselves comfortable. After a day of travelling like this one, it's nice to just sit back, isn't it?" She stretched her neck and gave a wave to the two infants on their mothers hips.
"They're so precious," she said, then looked up at the gypsies again. "And it's alright that I've not been... 'properly introduced'. I joined the caravan in such a whirlwind- I'm surprised anyone knows my name at all."

Caroline nods at Oqaia's words. "Aye. I'm Caroline, and this bonnie wee besom is Rojiza. She's rather friendly, as you can rightly tell." Indeed she is, for Rojiza had already crawled into Oq's lap and is looking at her face oddly, as if examining a strange creature. "Rojiza," says Caroline, seating herself, "Remember your manners, querida."

Anezka giggled at her pal, Rojiza, cuddling against Leshya'e. "The stew smells lovely, do I smell a hint of rosemary in it?" She leaned forward and looked into the pot, then sat down, placing Ani on the ground right in front of her. "That makes me wonder, How is the caravan doing when it comes to supplies? I think it's about time we tried to go into town and do some trading." She looked at Caroline, then at the infants and back to Oqaia, "Though, best not to bring the children along this time, considering..." She sighed and bit her lip, collecting in her mind some items that she would need if they had the chance.

"Oh, no worries Caroline," Oqaia said, testing out the names with an airy smile, "she's not hurting anything." She resisted the urge to squeeze the little squirrel-like girl up in her arms. She was so adorable- as was the sweet, giggling Anezka.
Oqaia looked up at the latter's mother. "I really wouldn't know as to the stew," she laughed, "I'm about as useful when it comes to cooking as those oxen are over there. ...And supplies..." she fell silent for a moment, thinking of the most delicate way to put it, "well, we're living off the land right now. Valelldia seems to think there's a trading post at the point of the river we're headed to, but I can't be so sure. I'm a little worried."

Leshya'e nodded, "Speaking for myself, I know I'm in some desperate need for milk and flour...oh and eggs, I definately need some of those." She bit her lip and leaned her chin into her hand, "maybe I should go make a list...of what i need...and possibly what I have to trade...I've got quite a lot of nice fabric that's going to waste by not being used for anything." She sighed and then looked back at Oqaia and Caroline. "Let's...let's not worry about it too much just yet...We've managed before, I'm sure we can do it again."

Standing up and leaving for a moment, Leshya'e returned with some parchement and a writing utensil. "Best to write these things down before I go off and forget" She nodded and looked at Oq and Caroline, then jotted down a few items:
Eggs
Milk
Flour
She scratched her chin and then set down the paper, thinking more about what she would need.

Caroline observes Lesh making a supplies list. "That's a fine idea, making a list of supplies," she says. "I should try and make one of my own."

"Wonderful, I really do need to know," she said, throwing her hands up with a smile to show how helpless she was. "I've only ever stayed in one place all my life- I'm so unaccustomed to the gypsy life of needing to trade and manage supplies. This is such a help to me."
