Pancakes tried to be a hero, tried to save the world, it came down too the last second, Pancakes had to press a button to save himself from exploding in a rocket in space heading for earth, Pancakes realized then that Pancakes didn't have any hands, the rumbling of the rocket moved Pancakes onto the self destruct button and here we are. 3nodding
Yet another hero, we never knew about.

Oh and in a past life Poly may have been Rory, since becoming a Zombie the old Poly known as Rory has become a separate being lmited to ghost form. gonk

LabTechMK I know the record perfectly, trust me. ninja ~MK Oh and on a side note...Poly influenced a change in the event.. Its in site feedback, your...gf made it, I believe or was it Deusy... Anyway.. I told Indy the developer in great detail that most Gaians are angry that they took away our ability to choose sides as well as they weren't going to give us a skin as Indy said at the start of the thread, it didn't cross their minds.. Merrr, you have to read it to get it. Now Lanzer is saying we will get a skin due to high demand. 3nodding

I don't mind the shenanigans, but... we can cut back a bit on trying to force, kay? Cole didn't say any such thing, and neither did Lanzer. Yes, skins will be had. No, it was not said at any point by any member of staff that it was not planned or that user demand influenced it. Cole is leading this event, and Lanzer is relaying information on behalf of the team.
Thinking back now, aren't you the one I had believing he was hacked because you were hotlinking from my photobucket and I changed the image on you?

If you recall, I knew it was you all along, Dayna if I recall said you wouldn't do that, so yeah. >.> ...and indy_cole Polychronicon Indy, every Halloween event we had a chance at a new skin some that would be permanently rare for those who were at the event, with this event they got rid of that, you broke tradition, thats a big no-no. Thats why a lot of people are angry, some of us including myself wanted to help the Ghosts..by becoming Ghosts thats where the skin would come into play..it could have just been a overlay skin..that makes our avatars bright blue and transparent like the ghosts. That way it could be a more interesting community influenced event that all would enjoy. Gaians playing ghosts would have been cool and I could see where the pre-event stuff may have implied that the event would involve ghost skins. One issue is that we've spent a while building an event where Gaians battle ghosts. We started the pre-event after the event was already built and people ended up connecting with the ghosts more on a friend-level rather than the way we had planned for it to happen... we were hoping that Gaians would be amused but also annoyed by the ghosts. My recommendation is to give the event a chance and see how everything pans out. It's far from over. So yeah..in a way he did say they didn't plan on making a Ghost skin due to the fact they thought we'd be annoyed by the ghosts rather than wanna help them. After that he poof'd from the thread and then came the Lanzer post.

@Polychronicon: Logically speaking we weren't the only ones asking about having a ghost skin. There was an out cry for it before this even even got into full swing. I'd give more credit to everyone since we all asked for it. 3nodding

Though here's the post he's referring to anyway: http://www.gaiaonline.com/forum/site-feedback/halloween-event-changes-to-come/t.66725089_73/#73 At no point does anything said by Cole or Lanzer imply or point out that Poly or any other user was responsible for anything that took place before or during the event. This post styling in particular is commonplace for Lanzer as he is announcing the existence of an item or feature that the developers have given him a poke about, allowing him to create the staff interaction that is otherwise seen as a myth within Site Feedback. This conversation is getting rather old, however, so I'd prefer it just be dropped. It's already taken place out in the forums, in here, and in another guild. ~MK
