My 8-year-old and 12-year-old cuz are coming over on Saturday and Sunday. I haven't seen them for a while, so I don't know them that well.
My 12-year-old cuz, Chloe, is very quiet and likes arts and crafts and that kind of thing, but my 8-year-old cuz, Hayley, is very hyper-active and can't sit still for long and can't do the same thing for a long period of time, she has to do something different every 5 mins.
I'm screwed...I don't know how to keep them both happy. Why...why?
Just, if you have any ideas of what I can do, please tell me or forever hold your peace. You may now kiss the bride, etc.

there is a book actualy that can help you. go to the book store and look for it. it is called " Destroy This Book" it is arts and crafts done on the book, differnt every page, and involvs getting up and moving around alot. i use to use it on my friends little brothers there that same way.
also try getting them to help you cook something. it involves moving around and can be art ^.^ and during boath you can get to know them better also.
do they like dancing? that would be fun for boath.
take them to the park. all kids love the park.
or just ask them what they want to do ^.^
dose this help any?

Invest in a role of Duct Tape.......it works wonders.....especially when dealing with over active kids......you can make wallets with it......or restrain someone.
