Victory Vaughn, the strange wolf with the even stranger, two part name was starting to fill out nicely. He had been so scrawny when she had stumbled upon him and, though she had never suspected she could have a motherly bone in her body, she couldn't bring herself to want to leave his side until she was certain he was healthy enough to fend for himself. Of course, now he was, but she still couldn't bring herself to up and leave. Of course, she did need to go back to her pack before they started to worry about her... But he didn't seem to be too keen on going back with her, which was what she wanted.
Her agreement with Orion seemed almost forgotten in her quickly preoccupied mind, but she would remember to speak with the alphas when she returned.
She tilted her head upwards, observing the bright sun, which was slowly beginning to sink behind the trees. It was getting late into the afternoon and she was getting pretty hungry. Hungry for fish, in particular, though she knew she was still no better at catching. Vaughn, however, seemed to be rather good at it by himself. Although it was puppish to even think that way, she found that she was actually pretty damned jealous of him. If only she had that kind of skill!

Vaughn had stuck around this odd female for reasons unknown to himself, his usually manner of trying to hide from female should have kicked in and had him begging for her to forgive him and let him let alive; but as of late he didn’t care of he lived or died so maybe that was why? But his fear was really from just being killed by a female, but that was so… Sexist. Had he been evil his whole life and just not known it? His thoughts were still pledged with what it meant to be evil and how life was supposedly meant to ‘destroy’ your spirit; it had done a number of his that was for sure.
He couldn’t help but enjoy this wolf’s company, she was bright and happy and enjoyed life and did her best to make herself happy it seemed… he remembered the days when he could go and find a helpless wolf and not have the need to dig deep within himself to find the urge to help them. So then maybe he wasn’t evil? Oh it was so confusing! And so tired of it…
“Want to try for another fish?” It was either that or Vaughn starts to starve himself again, he realized that he ate better when he had a need to… And that need was to teach this female wolf how to fish; even knowing he didn’t know himself. That first time was chance… Maybe fate and destiny was finally tapping on his shoulder?

"Of course~"
She turned her gaze from the sky above, tilting her head so that she was glancing at him from over her shoulder. A broad, mischievous, grin was smeared across her yellow and blue maw and she was quick to stand on all four paws. Maybe, just maybe, she would get lucky this time. A wolf could dream, right? Right. A bit of dreaming and hard work had to do it!
"I come from a long line of expert fishers. Last time was just a fluke, I lost my pawhold on the slippery rocks." There she went again, her big mouth running away with her. She absolutely failed at fishing! What was she doing!? Well, she was determined this time and didn't want to make a fool out of herself. Maybe that determination would make a difference...
Hopefully.
"Ready to be awed and amazed?" She chuckled, tail thumping against the bank. Her perky, chipper self was back and the events of a few days ago were almost long forgotten.
