Kokoroki is this dialect more harsh or less harsh (after all German is the worldest harshest language, and yet very similar to english) I've talked with Swiss ("german dialect") people and it sounded a lot harsher than German... they talked with very short vowels so it was a perfect excercise for my listening comprehension smile

Their word for little kitchen cupboard varies from canton to canton. My best friend is from Aargau and they say it Chochichaeschtli. In canton Bern it is Chuchichaeschtli.

A friend had some friends from Switzerland over last week, and when they were speaking to each other, the only thing I could understand was 'Don't take too much' when one of them was pouring themselves a drink.

I actually don't really know standard German. I learned German from a woman who lived in Switzerland most of her life. So I speak Swiss German. And yeah, fast as hell, I have problems with listening comprehension though whenever I learn a new language.

Chikiya Koko.Dk is this dialect more harsh or less harsh (after all German is the worldest harshest language, and yet very similar to english) What do you mean by 'harsh'? That's kind of hard to explain. Listen to someone speak French, and then German. French has this nice flow to it and German is like spit in your face.
Though, I think Russian can rival German in harshness. I love both languages.
CHEBURASHKA!
