The night was long and dreary. The scent of pumpkins lingered across the patch. The stars obscured by the clouds above, leaving a crescent moon peeking above the clouded horizon, the moonlight splitting a ray down the field as a single figure walked up the path. Humming a soft tune to herself, her dark velvety wings stretches slightly as she wandered down the path.

Oogie sat at the end of the path in a small clearing, the only other place where the clouds allowed light to penetrate. His pair of large red dice rattled in his paw and he shook them, then tossed them at the ground. "Snake eyes, again," he murmured, watching the striped snake weave in and out of the holes. His sewn ears twitched a bit as he caught the sound of the female's humming. "Who could be coming this way?" he asked no one, a smirk beginning on his face, pleased at the prospect of someone to play against.

Nox's ears perked up as she thought she heard someone. Her eyes scanning the dark lands as s she wondered who was there. Approaching Oogie's location, she smiled.

Standing, Oogie turned toward where he heard the approach, seeing the female demonic coming nearer. "Well, well, well, what have we here?" he asked as she came into view.

She chuckled with a smile. "Well I'd say I to you too patches." she chuckled, watching the patchworked Zune. Her eyes sparkled slightly in the moonlight, looking at the male with a bit of a smirk. "so whats a guy like you doing down here?"

His golden eyes sparked as she called him patches. "Patches? I like to think my name is much more pleasant than that." Hr grinned a little wickedly and stepped toward her holding out the paw that held his dice. "I'm playing the odds. What brings you to the forest on a night like this?"

"Taking the usual stroll...." she giggled. "It is a nice night after all." she chuckled, her tail gently feeling the seams on his side. "You're pretty odd looking..." she said rather straight forwardly.

"True enough, I suppose," he said, eying her a little. He blinked. He wasn't used to females being so straightforward. He also wasn't used to being touched, and he moved to the side a bit, away from her tail. "I'm a god, little girl, I may look how I please, and this is pleasing to me." His ears flicked a little, sending a spider flying, he smirked as it landed on her wing. Most females hated bugs of any kind, most especially spiders. He wondered how this one would react.

She chuckled and shook her head. "God? Oh really now?" she smirked, her wing moving slightly, letting the spider slide down to her back for it to crawl off using her tail whenever it wanted to. "This guy your friend?" he asked Oogie.
