Okay, I'm starting to get sucked into the evilness that is hello! project. gonk I guess it started from being introduced to matsuura aya... (a soloist under the h!p umbrella) and I'm familiar with yaguchi mari somewhat, so I guess discovering morning musume was inevitable. And all the other mixed up groups (like minimoni, country musume, and lots of shuffle groups). And I've only started getting hooked about... a week or two ago? should I just forget I ever heard of hello! project, or should I become fully obsessed? lol Any other people in this guild who are already obsessed with it? x_x

Ugh no get out of it. The real MoMusu fans are otakuish men in their 30s and little kids. And that goes for all those tiny groups too.
I'd say, if you are going to Japan or get in touch with Japanese people anytime soon, then it's safe to just admire Matsuura Aya and spare yourself some embarrassment. She seems to have broken out of the Hello Project mold and is quite an independent idol all on her own. Still she has a lot more male fans than women. She even has a semi-famous impersonator of her, and Smap sometimes impersonates her too.. LOL.

lol I love Matsuura Aya...
and, yeah, I know about the crazy middle aged men, lol. gonk I'm not there YET, but in another ten years I will be. then I'll give everyone permission to revoke my h!p privileges.
but it's not like I'm going to freak out and start buying every h!p single and stuff... I see myself liking Momusu, and stuff, about as much as any other jpop artist(s)...

I adore Hello! Project, Morning Musume is my favorite group, then BerryZ Koubou, then Mini Moni. I'm pretty obsessed, but their new single (Egao YES Nude) is really good! mrgreen

Yay! Hello!Prject, the source of all J-pop that isn't Hamasaki Ayumi. ^^
I've been a fan for like... almost a year, about 3/4 of a year. I'm listening to a fan recording of one of Morning Musume's 'Sexy 8 Beat' tour concerts.
Did anyone hear about JunJun and LinLin yet? They're two new Chinese girls that Tsunku brought in out of nowhere into Morning Musume! Yosie's confused, even.
I like everyone in H!P, with the exception of what I've heard of Gocchin's latest and some of Yuuko's songs, anyway.
Go Kids! groups! They're doing pretty well, both C-ute and Berryz!
