 He was pissed. It was all that damnable females fault! No, not Pattoh, she was fine. She hadn't done this to him! It was Nex's fault. All her fault. He couldn't keep this up, he had enough things to worry about, he didn't need her butting in! She was ruining everything! Sick...this was sick. He felt sick to his stomach realizing the illness she had inflicted upon him.
He couldn't stop thinking about her.
Hell! What was this? In all his life he had never had this issue. Obsession. Yuki was different, he was his little brother and he had not obsessed. No, he had merely worried. This however was something entirely different, something he was not used to. Ever since their fight, ever since they had both backed down due to rather respectable wounds on each other, ever since he had let out that one damn smile by some idiotic joke she made he couldn't stop. Sure, they had fought at first, but in the end they had ended the conversation with admiration for the other skills, and a silent truce that had not been spoken but been certainly created. He had left the meeting with wounds, yes, but also with her name and a smirk on his lips.
He was hard to please, and to please him one had to win a fight from him. But she was different! All he thought of was Nex this, Nex that, and he was growing damn near tired of it. What had that witch done? Had she poisoned him? Why was he wondering where she was as he traveled across the dark, swampy terrain? Why was he wondering if she was okay, if she had a mate by now, hell, if she was even thinking of him? Why why why? He wanted to see her... No! No no no! This wasn't right!
That witch must have done something to him!

 A low growl escaped her throat as she continued to meander her way around the dank, repulsive area. There was so much... filth. Filth... That is all she thought about now, or rather, all she associated everything with. How she ever ended up in this filthy place, with this filthy smell was a mystery to her. She felt filthy, not only because of her now filthy coat, but her filthy emotions had finally gotten the better of her. No, she had never, ever enjoyed company, hell, she abhorred company, but here she was, in the midst of all this filth, she found herself wishing for him.
Him? The hell no. Not him again.
No. No no no no no. No.
She did not need him; she did not need anyone. She required the presence of no one. Then why the hell was he always on her mind? If only she knew...
...

No no no no no!
She was angered, and it was evident in her malicious, low growl, in her quick, defiant stride, in the vicious lashing of her tail, even in the fierce glow of her gray eyes. The bone mask did not help her look anymore welcoming, not to mention the scars from her last encounter with him. She clearly remembered every moment of their satisfactory fight, one that had made her feel quite content for a long period of time. She had never encountered such an admirable opponent, nor did she believe she ever would again. Their fight had made her feel so... peaceful, so calm. It was a feeling she had never experienced, not even in her pensive state as she wandered around the lands.
... No!
There she went again, thinking highly of him. No. He had made her feel, something she had avoided for the longest time. Not even that, but he had made her feel needy, in need for companionship, the awful ache of missing someone. And she did not like it. No, she did not like it at all. The hell, she should have stayed away from foxes. All they had ever done is aggravate her. First that damned to hell vampire Koumori and now this wretch... Sin.

Damn this day. No, this week. Hell, lets make it these past few months. His tribe was falling apart, he was losing everything he had ever cared for. Cruor was rejected by the heavens above, his people were leaving, he was left with nothing. Almost nothing. Her name just kept popping up! No, he did not need her! He didn't need anyone but Cruor.... No... Cruor was gone. He had to accept that. It was gone now. This was why he was traveling. Maybe to start Cruor over? Or a new tribe? No, what was the point...?
He had decided to change his ways, stop attacking other foxes and just stop this endless blood lust. This was best for his family, his Yuki and his Ixen, his nieces and nephews, his one was tribe. Though that didn't mean he wouldn't take his seething anger out on an unsuspecting prey. If only he could find on in this damn swamp!
Maybe...Maybe Nex was just as fru-
"Shut up!" He snarled out loud to himself, thick tail whipping back and forth. He hated this, he hated the feeling of wanting to see someone. Someone he did not even need! What he needed was something to take his mind off things.

She came to an abrupt halt in her stead, ears perking up at the sudden, aggravated snarl. It sounded familiar, all too familiar. She took in a deep breath, suddenly regretting it. The awful smell was far too overbearing to smell the scent in detail, but it was that of another Modifox. It was not like she did not recognize that voice, either... or her mind was playing tricks on her, confused by her jumbled emotions, emotions she neither wanted nor needed. But a part of her ached, and a flicker of hope manifested herself in her being. The anger drained from her and she quietly stepped towards the sound, and eventually, the figure came into view.
She was right. It was Sin... or she was hallucinating and losing her ever loving mind.
Nex closed her eyes for a few, lengthy moments, praying that when she opened them he would not have vanished, though she would never admit that, even to herself. To her relief -and her dismay- he was still there when her eyelids slowly peeled back over her gray eyes. She eyed him for a few more moments, just for good measure. It was not a hallucination... and the anger flooded back. The harsh malice took its place in her eyes, and she made her presence known, stepping out into his view, tail whipping behind her. "You speak far too loud," she said, eyes fixed on his form, though the anger that she showed was merely a frustration with herself as she tried her best to convince herself that he was nothing more than the rest of the filth that sauntered about this planet.

Sin's scent was off, always had been, so when she was near he had not smelled her. However, he wasn't deaf, his ears flicking when he heard rustling near him. His head whipped over, snarling lowly in his throat. He knew of the dangers of the swamp and he was not going down, not tonight. His eyes did not meet some devastating creature, instead they fell upon a masked one. Her. The witch. His ears flicked once more, eyes narrowing. As she closed her eyes he did so as well, thinking the exact thought as she.
He couldn't believe she was there, coincidence was something he did not believe in. But he wanted her there, as hateful the crime it was. He too believed he was hallucinating, until he opened his eyes and still saw that masked vixen.
Now, hope fluttered and turned to rage. This vixen had poisoned him! She had done something to him, she was filthy! He was not falling for this! Right? Yes, right! But... she was here! He wanted to go and nu-
'Shut up!' His mind screamed as the blood stained male cocked his head to the side, a slow cheshire cat grin appearing.
"What do you want?" Oh how hard he was trying to drown these damned thoughts and feelings.

She let out a sigh through her nostrils, resisting the awful urges and temptations tugging at her paws. Temptation told her to run forward and lunge upon him, fight with him, fight till all was well again, fight till she felt that contentment, fight till she realized it was okay to want him.
But he did not want her. He did not need her. He had that miserable tribe, after all. "Nothing, wretch," she answered, "but I do wonder what you're doing off your precious tribe lands?" It was far too difficult to disguise the rancor in her voice, so she did not bother. Tribes... She scoffed at them. The formation of a tribe had evicted her from her 'home', and the formation of another was keeping her away from him. She would not be caught dead in a tribe; they simply were not for her, not even his tribe... but the need for company was one she could not shake off no matter how hard she tried. She had experienced contentment with the presence of another fox, now she lusted for it. Of course, she would not admit to it.

His eyes hardened at the mention of his tribe, nails digging into the damp earth. "Watch your tongue, cretin." He snapped back, his anger boiling at this point. Where did she get off making him feel this way? She knew, she must know! She had planned this! She was toying with him! She was just waiting for him to make a fool of himself! Not today, no never. She wouldn't get the last laugh.
His tribe, Cruor... He hated speaking about it. She deserved her mask being removed for that, the thought flickered across his mind before he shoved it aside. Quietly he didn't want to fight, he wanted something else. Her. He wanted her warmth, he security, he wanted to curl beside her and just relax.
But to hell was he going to let her filthy tricks deceive him.
"It is of no more. The b*****d Deities above have destroyed what little I had in that tribe. We have disbanded for the time being." He hissed back, his voice dripping with sorrow and venom. His eyes fell upon her frame, challenging her to say something about his failure.

She blinked, for that was not the response she had expected. Destroyed? Disbanded? She could not help but feel some pity for him... Pity?! No. She pitied nothing and no one, not even herself. She never felt sorry; she never cared. So why? Why did she care? Why should she care? It was not her affair, nor was she affiliated in any manner with his tribe. She flexed her claws with her frustration, looking deep into his eyes, searching, hoping to find something, something to prove to herself that he was worth caring for.
"That wasn't something I had expected to hear from you, Sin," she replied, her voice rather nonchalant than anything else, for she had no need to feel anything for his tribe. He did not need to know she felt sorry for him, even though she did not know why. Though her voice was nonchalant, her internal conflict was evident, and she could not hide that.

Wait, had she... she hadn't mocked him. His eyes flicked away from hers, feeling trapped when she stared at him. What was she looking for? An opening to smack him down with? He didn't need to give her that, he was already broken inside. He had nothing, he had no family. He had already broken the one he was blood tied to, they would never accept him now. Though, he didn't want them. They were all disgusting, except Yuki and maybe Unia. But the others, filthy.
But his other family, he had to admit it broke the already insane male even more. Why them? He didn't want anything but them. He didn't want anyone! Just them... so... why? And why the hell was he thinking of Nex so much? He didn't need anyone anymore, he just wanted to live his own life.
So why the hell?! His eyes flashed, hiding the pain inside them with fury, flickering over to her as he cocked his head to the side like a bird. "Is that so?" He snarled, teeth bared. There was a second where his body relaxed, where his eyes flickered hesitation, where he wanted to try and just be civil with her, but that didn't last long. She was mocking him!
"What have you done to me, Nex?" He snapped, having forgotten he was attempting to pretend he didn't care about her, though if he hadn't why would he know her name? Things slipped his mind when he felt cornered.

There was a moment, just a brief moment where she had believed she had found something in his eyes, but it was just a moment, for when he turned away, all the rage threatened to engulf her again. And she hated it. She hated feeling so conflicted, she hated feeling so unsure, she hated feeling, and she hated him for making her feel. A low growl escaped her as he snarled at her, and her muscles tensed, waiting for him to lunge at her. She wanted him to lunge at her, for she needed to displace all this anger out on something, something that she knew could not beat her but she could not beat as well, something that would keep her occupied till she felt sane again.
His next comment briefly stunned her, and she blinked. "What have I done to you?" she asked, her pulse quickening as the fury threatened to burst out from her. She pulled her lips back over her teeth and snarled. "What the hell do you mean by that?! 'What have you done to me?' Bah!" she spat, eyes enraged. "I have done nothing to you, you scum! It's what you've done to me that's the problem here!" She instantly regretted the last comment, but she never thought things through when she was angry, leastways when she was this angry.

Sin hissed between his teeth, tail flicking side to side. This vixen was not playing him! No! She would not win! His ears flipped against his head as his body tensed, his crazed smile gone and in a furious snarl. "Shut your lying mouth! I do not care about you or your problems! I did nothing!" Lies! He did! He cared more then he wanted to think about! He cared to much!
He took a step closer to her, body shaking with the rage. "Never have I had this insufferable problem. Your name won't leave my head, your disgusting name! What did you slip into me during our fight? What filthy thing did you do to me?! Why is it you never leave my mind even when I try to sleep?!" He snapped towards her, shaking his head in frustration.
"Whatever you have done, I'll give you five seconds to remove it! I am not your damn toy, you filthy b***h!" He wouldn't let his emotions be played, they already had suffered enough. He wouldn't let her ruin him more with the possibility of having something he wanted then it being torn away.

Nex snarled at him, furious. She did not appreciate being yelled at, ever. She did not need to be yelled at, not by him. She had done nothing. And yet he continued to yell, convinced she had done something. His comments enraged her, and yet she felt lifted by them, at least the some of them. Relief soothed her as she realized she was not the only one between feeling like he or she had gone completely insane, not that they weren't already, but that was beside the point.
And yet this yelling frustrated her, aggravating her to the point where she snapped. With a hiss, she lashed out at his face, claws extended, exactly as she had done when they had first met and he had tried to remove her mask. "Shut up!" she screeched, eyes boring into his. "You don't even know what the goddamn hell you're talking about! I did nothing. You're just ******** crazy!" she snarled, her tone venomous. "Or maybe I'm crazy, thinking about you every living moment of the day and detesting myself for doing so! I didn't even have a goddamn tribe to occupy myself with! I have nothing, nothing to keep my mind busy so I can stop thinking about you! So I ask you, what the bloody hell did you do to me, wretch?!"

Sin hissed between his teeth, dodging the blow and rolling away. He didn't want to fight her, but at the same time he did. She was angry, she was wanted a fight, she wanted to attack him, he could tell. But he wanted none of it. Instead, he backed away from her, uncertainty in his eyes. Why couldn't he attack her, even though she tricked him?
"I have done nothing! It is you that has done this to me!" He hissed back, shaking his head. "I will not have you deceive me!" He flashed a sneer to the side, who needed this anyway? If only he could shut her lying mouth and just forget this!

She blinked, staring at him for a few lengthy moments, growling. "I have done nothing to you, Sin," she hissed. "I have done absolutely nothing. I don't know what the hell has gotten into your head." Her eyes retained the same ferocity they had since she first saw him today, but she was calming down. Fighting like this would not achieve anything. What he was going through, she was going through as well, and they could solve this together if they stopped screaming at each other. And she wanted to solve this. She was not a fan of constantly thinking about him when he was not around, nor was she a fan of longing for his company, but in order to get past all of this, it was clear to her that they needed to stop fighting.

Sin took a wary step backwards when he noticed her calm down, surprised he had not attacked her back from before. Sin jerked his head to the side, scowling at her as she answered him. What did she mean she had done nothing? However, he didn't press further, he didn't lash back or snarl. Instead, he sat on his haunches and narrowed his eyes at her.
"If you've done nothing, then why is this happening?" He responded with, voice lowered and yet not hostile. For once he wasn't snarling, for once he was quiet. This thought process annoyed him, he didn't need anyone and he didn't need her. Right?
