Hmm...well you could break it into different types of shields, you have your short solid shields, your long solid shields. Then you have your energy shields which and be either the small (still about same size as the large solid ones) or the energy shields that are like a sphere around you

That is true. A few of my favorites are the shield for the RX-78GP01. I love how it expands longer. Another is the Gattling shield for the Gouf. I just love mobile suits with BIG guns.

I like the shields that actually hold extra swords, extra energy for weapons, or things like that.

The gat shield of the Gouf holds an extra sword and gat gun
the GP02 large shield is one of the biggest that holds the barrel of the nuc bazooka and protects from nuc radiation
the shield of Tallgeese III has 2 beam sabers stored and a heat rod whip like Epyon and is connected to the shoulder so he can have a free hand and not have to discard the shield

Well I believe that the Wing Gundam and Wing Zero did as well as Tallgeese, Tallgeese II, and the Leo.

There is always the shield from the GX-9900-DV Gundam X Divider. It has the Beam Harmonica.

From what Mav has said, I don't think it was 3.
So it must be 1 or 2.
