Chapter 1
The group of earthlings that traveled in the Disney Train walked along the clear path. All of them found it strange that the letter told them to come here, reading a name of a wise being, one of which none of them had heard of before. All of them had gotten so used to the magic paper reading the name of magic beings that at least a few of them knew of the origins of. This time not even the Disney fanatics knew anything of the name read. And Sora had never heard the name before. Unsure of anything, good or bad, they all agreed to keep their guard up.
Kyle, Joe and Sora ended up leading the group along the trail. Though none of them had their weapons summoned, two out of the three were scanning the area for whatever unknown this new world had to offer. The area they were traveling in seemed peaceful. Too peaceful. Which was one of the reasons the two Earthlings were so tense, after all the battles they'd been in, even the most beautiful place could be a trap. With a grassy plain that carried out as far as the eye could see. A few patches of white and purple flowers grew along the path.
"I wouldn't linger too far behind, if I were you," said James back to Dawn who had stopped to look at the flowers.
"Aw, okay," the dancer said with a pout. She stood up, but not before picking one from where it grew. Dawn put the plant to her nose as she ran to catch up with the others and walked with Sayrike.
Noelle watched Dawn and smiled a little, if Dawn didn't pick the flower, she probably would have. The agromancer turned and looked forward at the others. She was walking with James and Jenny. Louis, Jacob and Anthony brought up the last of the group. The rest of the ones that traveled with the group stayed at the train.
"Sooo... Does anyone know anything of this place other than the person we are to find- ACHOO!- Excuse me...." said Anthony as he rubbed his nose.
Kyle didn't look back as he answered the question, assuming the normal 'leadership' role, adding a little annoyance to his voice, "Nothing anymore than the last 20 times that question has been asked. Trust me, when we find out, we will be sure to tell you."
Sayrike sighed softly to herself at the two. The blue mage stayed relatively quiet during the whole time they had arrived. All this unknown that they were facing, she had to admit unnerved her as well, but she choose to hide it more than the others and just press forward.
Meanwhile, James was just as tense, if not more so than the others. The senses he gained from Fenrir were not picking up on the darkness he'd normally feel when he went to a world, but something else about the world made his senses tingle. Something was definitely off, he just couldn't put his finger on it.
"Hey, what's that?" Jenny asked pointing to something that was flying towards them, to the group's right.
The group looked in the direction the time mage pointed. All eyeing it curiously. Whatever it was it appeared to be circling them slowly as if it was about to land.
"Is that...." Joe spoke finally, "an airship?"
The Keyblader narrowed his eyes as the ship got closer he saw a couple of people waving from a balcony on the aircraft, he grinned a little as he recognized them.
"It is Kichi, and Kyla!" Noelle spoke up in place of Sora, she too recognizing the two as they waved down at the group. Kichi waving with both arms stretched out, while Kyla, a little more shyly with just one hand. The two were being joined by other Earthlings plus Riku and Nick.
The Disney Train group watched as the airship came in for a landing near their path. Which seemed like it took about six times the actual ten minutes for the Red Rose to land. After Leon got the ship landed and the platform for occupants to exit was lowered, the King's group started to move closer to the ship to greet their fellow Earthlings. Dawn ran ahead as she saw Amy leave the ship. Before Amy knew it, the dancer picked the white mage up in a massive hug and spun around in circles.
"Hogod!" Amy exclaimed unable to do much else but take the glomp.
Dawn let out a small laugh as she put her down and saying, "Hihi!"
The two groups exchanged their greetings with one another after several more minutes. Most less physical in greeting than the one Dawn had given Amy. Louis and Nick eyed each other in a silent greeting and acknowledgment of the other. Neither of them speaking to anyone of their previous meeting. Meanwhile, Anthony also eyed Nick for different reason. The bearded man couldn't put his finger on it, but he could of sworn he meet that young man from somewhere. Anthony shrugged a little as he let it slide and continued exchanging greetings with John.
"So, what are you guys doing here?" Kyle asked Kichi after things finally started to settle down.
"Looking for the King, what else?" Kichi answered, "Simba told us that the King went for a place called the Flower City. And the Red Rose lead us here."
"I see," the swallow-spear wielder responded then proceeded to tell of what they were looking for and all they had discovered, which had been very little in terms of discovery.
"When we were flying over head, we saw what looked like a palace north of here," spoke up Riku, "I suggest we go and check it out. If we can't find the king, or this Alue, perhaps someone there can lead us in the right direction."
"Sounds like a good as a plan as any," Sora agreed already moving with Riku in the pointed direction as the combined groups followed after.
The groups walked together for several hours. They saw a castle in the distance the castle Riku was talking about as they traveled along the path that was starting to get more rocky as they went along, a few of the less physical children were starting to feel themselves starting to tire, but pressed on.
Just before the large group reached the top of a rocky hill, Jacob stopped walking and started looking around them with a confused expression on his face.
"Is something wrong Jacob?" Dani asked after narrowly avoiding walking into Jacob's back.
"I thought I heard something," he responded his eyes still scanning the area.
"You heard it, too?" Kyle McKenna from the Red Rose, who had been walking with Dani, asked.
Amy was the next to speak up, wearing an expression of confusion and annoyance at not knowing what they were talking about, "What did you hear?"
"A voice," Jacob responded looking at Kyle to confirm if he heard the same thing before he continued to answer, "Someone was singing...." Jacob paused as if he was listening for something, "Actually, I take that back, there it is again."
Jenny looked at the two males curiously, before she started to focus on listening for the song that was being heard, but her ability to hear Heartsongs was failing her for this task, she could hear nothing except the Heartsongs of those around her. The time mage started to look over at the two boys. She opened her mouth about to say something, but got cut off.
"Ah, the voice! Make it go away!" Joe shouted, holding his head as he fell to his knees onto the ground.
"Joe!" Noelle cried, her voice full of concern as she kneeled by his side, "What is wrong?"
The fighter only shook his head, his voice unable to respond otherwise. Joe was soon joined on the ground with Kyle McKenna, Jacob and Anthony. The three of them holding their heads in a similar manor. The rest of the males, including the Keybladers and Ivalicians, were holding their heads as if they all had a massive headache. This left the group of girls staring and confused about the whole situation.
"Kichi," Kyla said as she placed a gentle hand on his arm, "What is happening to you guys?"
Kichi's shivered a moment at Kyla's touch, afterward his body tensed as if he had over come what had made everyone else fall. A sign that made Kyla sigh in relief. That relief was short lived when Kichi summoned his tonfa to his hands, a moment later swept his arm out and hit Kyla in the stomach his weapon.
"Kichi! Kyla!" Jenny shouted, her voice filled with both concern and confusion. What happened? Why did Kichi attack Kyla? Jenny started to run over to aid Kyla, only to narrowly dodge getting impaled on the spear that swept out in front of her. The flute wielder looked in horror that the one who used the weapon to attack her was none other than Kyle.
Amy stared at the confusion that had erupted among the group. She looked back and forth between all the men that were still holding their heads and the ones that were attacking. The white mage didn't know what over came them, she just knew she had to do something to stop them from hurting someone. With a heavy conscious Amy summoned her guns and aimed one at each Kichi and Kyle. Perhaps shooting them in the knee would snap them out of whatever possession took hold of them. Just as she was about to pull the triggers on her weapons, the gunner was hit in the back by a bullet fired by the hexagun wielder.
One by one the males were summoning their weapons and were glaring at the confused girls with narrowed eyes that all glowed an eerie color of gold. Maggie was at Kyla's side with a hand on the girls shoulder as she looked up at Louis and Kichi who stood over them both with their weapons ready to attack. The two moved forward in even steps at the two girls. Louis's rapier was covered with a veil of darkness as Kichi's charged a flare spell that exploded when he struck. Maggie managed to maneuver herself to grab Kyla and cover her from Louis's blade that struck along her side, but was unable to do anything about the explosion from Kichi's attack, that sent the two girls flying down the hill.
Meanwhile, Dani had her hands full with trying to evade the relentless attacks of Kyle McKenna and Jacob. The assassin kept her chakrams raised as Kyle moved forward with his weapons coming down on her, one after the other. Dani had backed up near the same edge that Kyla and Maggie had fell to. She was about to run to get herself away from the danger of falling when one of Jacob's throwing knives cut the side of her left leg. Due to the pain, the defense Dani was using fell, giving Kyle the perfect opportunity. The terramancer brought his katar down, slashing down the front of her chest. The katar came down in the earth in front of the girl, creating a spike of earth under the girl's feet, knocking the girl down the side of the edge.
Dawn did a dodge roll to avoid a strike of the hammer from John. Before she could rise to her feet, Dawn was immediately tied up by a pair of chains, courtesy of Nick. The wind user let out a scream as the Ivalician used the chains as a means to drain her of any fight she had in her.
Nearby Noelle and Sayrike, had their own struggle with Anthony and Joe who were combining their weapons and elements of wind and lightning to put them at the disadvantage. Both of them had already been hit with several of bolts of lightning and Joe's bo staff. Now Noelle and Sayrike were lucky they were both still standing now. Joe swept his staff out, tripping Noelle as Anthony came down on her with a slash charged with thunder.
All of the girls seemed defeated, including Jenny who had already taken multiple hits from Kyle's swallow spear. Alan was standing behind
the majority of fighting. His tome was open as he read various words from a spell. The tome glowed a crimson red.
"Let's end this..." Alan spoke as an explosive fire spell engulfed the battlefield in a cover of red fire and smoke.....
