Mari was born in a small village close to konoha, Both of her parents died during a raid on the village when she was 8 years old leaving her an orphan and homeless.
When she was 10 years old she was found at the gates of konoha by a women who she later found out was her aunt, She was taken in and trained by her aunt. She entered the academy and passed at the top of her class when she was 11 years old. She Became a chuunin the year after learning about the summons her mother had kept hidden she decided to sign it and became the first person in over 50 years to own the wolf summoning scroll.
