The thick woods spread out for hundreds on acres. Thick bushes hide among the ground, hiding deadly animals. Many people have died here, from animals, or rouges. This is directly above the great underground capital city of the Redcoats, and high-level Redcoats often take walks here.

Lana stalked through the trees, bow and arrow at the ready. Her sister had taught her, and helped her accuracy. She can't remember who had the best accuracy. A rustle in the bushes caught her attention and aimed towards the sound. Out came a small vole, and Lana put down her weapon. She walked over to the nearest tree, and hoisted herself up. It was one of the tallest trees in the woods, and Lana usually came here for refuge when she was upset. Her walkie talkie cracked as it came to life. Seeing as it was scaring the animals, Lana turned it off. Lana leaned back to a thick branch. She sighed as she remember when she was younger, coming here to get away from the hard times. I'm the commander now! I can't think like this! She thought harshly to herself. Soon, her eyes fell, and she was asleep.

Evan walked through the woods aimlessly, then again he never had a goal. He couldnt care less what happened to him or other people, except maybe if they got exactly what they wanted. That ticked him off. He stopped by a large tree and sat down. He had always liked this place, it was deep in the forest and seemed to not get disturbed very often. As much as Evan liked the modern base, he liked getting away from it just as well. When he was here he felt like he knew what it was like to live before he got caught up in this war, which was false because he had no memory of before twelve, when he got shot in the head. Evan sighed and rubbed his eyes with his hands.

A twig snapping in the woods, woke Lana up immediately. She drew her bow and arrow, looking for the attacker. Since there was no imminent threat, she cautiously let her guard down. The rouges in the woods could be really dangerous, not that she was scared, but you had to be careful where you went. Lana's eyes darted back and forth until she was sure no one was there. She sifted her weight, and accidentally sent the bow, along with her quiver down the tree. "s**t!" She yelled, and dove after it. Fortunately, Lana had lightning reflexes, and caught it in mid air. But she leaned over the branch and noticed Evan on the ground. She tilted her head, which must have looked hilarious, because she was upside down. "Evan?" She asked.

((Evan))
Evan looked up, startled, and upon seeing Lana, let out a breath he just realised he was holding "Lana..." he replied. "You look rediculous like that." he told her, still staring. He got up and climbed up to a branch about where Lana was. "what are you doing here?" he asked, mostly to be polite, again with the dont-really-care. Well, he was a little curious how the commander could be taking time off.

Lana's eyes narrowed. "That's for me to know....what about you?" She asked a bit to harshly. Lana partly expected for him to say the same. Her eyes darted around, expecting a group in rouges to come out and attack. Finally she let her guard down and put her Bow and quiver on another small branch next to her.

((hm... ill just do this how bout...lol))
Evan shrugged "when am i ever doing something?" he said more than asked, ignoring the fact that Lana didnt answer him. He didnt need and answer, and besides, that was Lana, you didnt question it unless you wanted to die. He leaned back on the tree and closed his eyes for a minute. "something important, anyway." he added

Lana sighed. "Define important." She said. Lana thought back to the time she got a call from one of her soldier telling her it was important, but when she got there, he was wondering how to make noodles. Lets just say, he isn't able speak anymore.

"For constructive purpose." Evan replied. He mostly did things for destructive purpose, but he was okay with that. With everything else everyone was doing, one person wouldnt really make a difference.

A few meters away Rex was following Lana through a path that many of the small creatures managed to fit through. Whenever he came across a smaller creature that stared at him he let out a raptor like roar and the creatures ran off. "eee." he squeaked pleased with himself

(lol) ((STALKER!!!!!!!!! eek ))
Lana stood up as soon as she heard rustling in the bushes. Shifting her weight to her feet, Lanna leaned over the edge of the thick branch. Out of the bushes, Lana spied a scaled tale slip through the leaves. She grabbed Evan's hand and pulled him over to the edge. "What do you think that is?" She said pointing towards the bush. Lana hadn't noticed she was still holding his hand.

Evan smirked "you should get around more, captain." he said "it sounds like Rex, you know we developed him a few years back..." he thought about it, everyone was so excited to have made false life. "Rexxie," Evan called out to the creature, squeazing Lanas hand as he swung his legs over the edge of the tree branch, to face Rex.
((now, does Rex act more like an animal? should i treat him like a dog or like a human? and mii, is it ok that Evan knows what it is? cause it sounded like you kinda wanted to play a guessing game... ))
