First Contest: Mascot Design

Entries are being taken throughout the whole month of November. None in October.
Voting will be held from December 1st- December 15th.

Rules for entries:
-No already existing characters. (Ex. Miku in a Gaia Tshirt, Your Utauloid)
-Attire must be shown from front. Back is optional for entering, but will be required when you win first place.
Not including a back on your entry will not affect your chances of winning.
-Style of art does not matter
-If you do enter, please include a profile (Example of what we want it shown in the next post)
-Keep in mind that we also want to see the colors.
-You must design it yourself. Two people cannot share an entry.
-Entry must be drawn. A MMD model cannot be entered, but you can use the design if you sketch it out for us. As long as the model is not used for anything. It cannot be your utauloid, and it cannot represent you/someone else.
-You may have up to two entries, but you can only place once in the final scoring.

Rules for voting:
-Please do not rely on the style of art
-If you notice that an entry breaks the rules, please alert us. We're sorry for missing it. (Ex. They used their Utau's design.)

First Place:
80,000 in Gold
Fanart from both Shirls and I
Design used as guild mascot (MMDGuild will be dressed as them, a MMD model will be made, they will represent us everywhere)

Second Place: 50,000 in Gold
Fanart from both Shirls and I

Third Place: 30,000 in Gold
Fanart from both Shirls and I

Contest prize total up to 160k. If any donations are made specifically to the contest, please direct them tword the MMD Guild Account. Her post is the fourth on the page. Please specify what the donation is for, or it will simply be saved for later guild purposes. None of the funds in the account are for personal anything

(We can't see the full design. It's not colored. She doesn't have a full profile. Ect, ect, ect. We can't take entries like this, because we can't see enough of the character and we don't know enough of the character.

It's like stranger danger. I'm scared of this type of entry.)

There have been questions about this, so let me clear it up.

Upon entering a character in this contest, you are completely giving them to us to use as the mascot. This means they will be your design, but you can't use them anywhere else except for fan-things for the guild.

That would fall under breaking the 'No pre-exsisting charcters" rules. You're basically giving the rights to them up to us until the mascot contest next year, when you recieve the rights back. If this rule is broken, and we find out, the second place winner would be promoted to first as a result.

The use-rule only applied to first place, however! If you land anywhere below first, we won't be using the design and you can use them however you like. C:
