So? Have you ever had one of those traumatizing moments? Oh-ho, I'm sure you have. Well ladies, post 'em here! Rank your most embarrassing moments on a scale of xp to burning_eyes
xp "Wow that was dumb" moment sweatdrop "Dang everyone saw me mess up" moment crying "This actually made you cry" moment burning_eyes "You honest to God wish someone had shot you right then" moment
I'll start! crying Ok, I do a lot of plays and when I was a little younger I was an orphan in "Annie" at Pepperdine (450 seats). In the number "Never fully dressed without a smile" all the little girls do a little can-can bit at the end of the song. Now, my shoes were to lose for me at the time. And at the precise moment when the last notes of song played, and all the girls made one last kick, my shoe went flying off my foot. Knowing better than to watch it because that would just draw more attention, I kept smiling. But in my minds eye I remember picturing one lone shoe arching over us, and then actually hearing it land with a clatter. That's 400-450 people watching my darned shoe pretend it could fly. After the play, I actually cried, I was so mad at myself for screwing up, but now it think it's funny.
It made thing even better when I went to go see Marry Poppins on Broadway and Mary flung her shoe into the orchestra pit during "Step in time". Yes, I am not alone!
Your turn, ladies!

okay. i was either a freshman or a sophmore, i forget which, but i left a class and it was our beark time and i was wearingmy favorite (thick heel) high heels and i was walking through the commons when i went to go around a table i lost my footing and my left foot slipped out from under me and i fell on my butt. i quickly got up and continued to walk over to my friends when they started to ask me if i was okay, all i did was laugh it off cause it didnt really hurt. but with everybody in the school looking at me i guess it was kind of a stupid moment. xp

Haha, I do that about twice a day! That reminds me of the time my sandal broke and I had to walk around the rest of the day either dragging the sandal or just completely missing it entierly. God, I swear everyone was starring! sweatdrop
