As all of you know, just recently I've finished the Grand Sport conversion on my 2007 Corvette Z51. Since the conversion, the car has been transformed into what can only be described as a different car than it used to be. Visually, it has more attitude than ever before - in fact, more than most of its breed. Its new fenders make it 3.5 inches wider than before and it's acquired a much larger set of gills, in addition to various air ducts. But its new looks haven't come alone. In addition to looking the part, the car's new wheels and tires turn it into a completely different machine. It fills the driver with awe-inspiring turn-in confidence, sticking to the road as though it were made of glue. There's also virtually no wheel spin when executing launches, which leads me to believe that the car is actually faster than it used to be, as well, despite the minimal added weight. I'll leave the other thread so that everyone can see the differences between what it once was, and what it is now. Here are the details.
