Yep! She certainly liked it here, though she couldn't yet fathom leaving her birth pack, Tomkin. She liked it far too much there and felt such strong bonds of loyalty. Albeit, she was growing quite fond of her brother and the interesting company he kept. The wolves here all seemed to have their own quirks... Especially the pups. The two siblings from South Seaside, to be more precise. Rock was certainly a character, though she admired his fluffy tail, which must keep him very warm. If only her tail was as fluffy as that! She had yet to meet Toki, which would also be quite the experience.
All the change was a nice breath of fresh air, albeit she still found the tunnels odd and amusing. It was all so new to her! Still, nice and dry, given the bouts of rain that had been coming on and off. She was thankful that she and Pol had been spared on their journey from Tomkin to Hollow Earth. Dragging him the last leg while being rained on would have been absolutely miserable!
This afternoon didn't seem too bad, however. Rain was coming, but it was still a ways off. She could smell it on the air and it was invigorating, but there was still time, before it started to rain, and she took this opportunity to explore the outside of the pack she was visiting. A shame, she had stumbled in here without noticing, the day that she had brought Pol back! Bad form, but in her own defense, she could only smell him as she dragged him.

Toki liked Hollow Earth, simply putting it. Of course, she still thought of and worried about what family she left behind at South Seaside. To her, it seemed so far away, yet for the average wolf it was fairly close. Her paws were still small and stubby and her ears were slightly too big for her body, but she would soon grow into these over the seasons, despite not being able to imagine such things.
Imagining was what she did, however. This was the shy, young pup's escape, her way of coping with her odd family. Sometimes her own imagination scared her, but she rarely stopped living inside of it. Stories could explain everything, from the thunder, to the rain, to the flowers, to the birds, if only she thought hard enough on them. And speaking of thunder, she was becoming familiar with the sensations of impending rain. She should probably head back to the den soon, or else Draka might come looking for her again. While she liked frolicking outside, she knew she was being a burden at times, which was something she loathed.
The pup yawned, nestled between two thick roots of an aged and gnarled oak, none too far from the den site. She was used to wandering off on her own, as her parents never seemed to pay her much mind, thus she didn't fear predators all that much... Of course, she probably should. It was a wonder she hadn't been picked off by a hawk, yet.

It was that yawn that caught Tuilinn's attention.
Her dark ears pivoted at the sound and she slowed her pace to a simple, yet silent plod. Curious, blue eyes found the source of the noise. A single, lonely pup nestled beneath the reaching limbs of an aged oak. Interested and slightly worried, she made an approach, looking the young one over. She bore some resemblance to the ever fluffy Rock, whom she had met not too long ago. But what was she doing out here, on her own? An unsupervised pup was a pup in danger, though she seemed perfectly at ease and in her own little world.
"Hey, you, what you doin' out here on your own, huh?" She snorted as she shifted towards the youngster, but her demeanor was much kinder than it was with others. Pups were fun to pick on, but in a much calmer and friendlier fashion. She didn't make herself nearly as intimidating as she had done with Pol, when pestering him. She didn't swell up or bluff, but instead settled down on the youngling's level.

It took her just a moment to realize that she was being spoken to, which prompted her to glance upwards towards the stranger. She looked slightly familiar, although Toki had never met her before. Despite Tuilinn being a stranger to her, she grinned and her little tail thumped against the large tree root. They were on pack land, so she must have been pack, right? The flower test would reveal all, which she would be sure to give her soonish. She had picked a couple of the remaining ones and they were tucked behind her, against the bark of the tree.
"Just... Thinking, you know? I-I'm Toki." She bobbed her head and tilted it to one side. She wasn't as nervous as she usually was, feeling more safe and at home amongst Samhain and Draka's pack, though she hadn't spoken directly with Sam before. He still intimidated her slightly, but things were going smoothly. All would be well!
"I live here, with my brother. I like it outside. It feels nice. The wolves are gonna cry soon, though, I feel it."

"Toki? I'm Tuilinn. But that still doesn't explain why you are out here on your own. So it's nice, but you could go missing! Then what would your brother think? Or the alphas?" She cocked her head slightly as she nestled down, splaying her paws out before her. She could hardly believe she had been that small once, even though she still wasn't fully an adult. It was a strange notion and she looked from her larger paw to Toki's smaller one. Strange, indeed! Her words after that, however, were even odder.
"What do you mean the wolves are gonna be crying?" She blinked and glanced towards the sky. Did she mean the impending rain? If so, that was certainly an unusual way of putting it. She hadn't ever heard of wolves crying before. Curious as always, she couldn't help but to enquire about it.
"What do you mean, wolves crying? Is there something wrong?"

"But... It's safe here, I think. I always like to play outside, you know?" She justified bluntly, her golden eyes locked onto the stranger with which she spoke. While she didn't make eye contact, her staring was slightly unnerving and she didn't seem to stop for several moments, when she blinked and also glanced towards the sky.
"Yes. They're sad..." Her voice trailed off and she became distracted. After another moment, she sat up and plucked one of the few flowers she had managed to collect that afternoon. There wouldn't be many for a while yet, or so she was told, and this worried and saddened her. How could she pass them on to test those she met, if she couldn't find any. It would be a sad, sad winter.
She dropped it carefully at Tuilinn's paws and glanced up at her, expectantly.

All Tuilinn could think to do was gawk. The flower was slightly wilting, but still delicate and beautiful. She had never been purposefully given one before, let alone by a strange pup that she had just met. It was sweet and adorable, in a way, yet also completely caught her off guard. She looked it over and sniffed at it slightly, enjoying the simple fragrance.
"Why... Thank you, little one. It's quite cute and pretty." She spoke after a moment of simply staring at it. For what purpose was little Toki turning this thing over to her? It didn't even occur to her that it was a test of sorts, not that that would have mattered to much to her. Pass or fail, she wasn't too terribly concerned.
"Very nice... But why are the wolves sad? Can you tell me?"

Eh, well, close enough.
Tuilinn didn't react quickly, but at least it was a positive one. A swifter, cheerier response would have been nice, but at least she didn't turn it down or mutilate it, right? Well, it had to be ok, at lest she expected so from past experiences. So, content, her tail began to wag and she settled back down, hiding the flowers from view.
"G-g-g-glad you like it! Aren't they nice? Probably the best I'm gonna find before the leaves of the trees catch fire and fall, y'know?" Yet more babbling, sounding strange coming from the smallish pup, who seemed a bit too small and a bit too high in the clouds, despite being seated firmly ahead of her. Still, she didn't miss a beat and continued to talk.
"The wolves are sad. The ones that live in the clouds and watch us from above. Sometimes they see something they don't like, or the not wolves scare them. It makes them sad and they cry, but sometimes it's a good thing! Cos their tears are good for the plants and the leaves and the wolves and the birds and the fish and the flowers, and we do need the flowers, yeah?"

What.
Catch fire?
What in the name of the moon was the little one prattling on about? She hardly had an idea and was half tempted to scold her, to tell her that she better hurry up and start making some sense. She was confused, which was making her frustrated. Narrowing her sharp, blue eyes, she stood.
"What are you talking about, fire? You can't honestly believe that about wolves living in the sky? Sounds like pup stories, to me. Just old pup stories." Then again, she was a pup. It would make sense for her to rationalize things like so, right? Right. Of course, but that didn't make it any less odd to the practical, young wolf.

"Y-yeah, you know."
She blinked and grew silent, a stillness settling between them. Didn't she know? For being older, this wolf didn't seem to know very much at all. Of course, how could she know? All of these things were merely stories that the observant, yet at the same time clueless youngster. They hadn't been told to her, she just assumed that these things, these images in her mind, were factual, and thus most others already knew them. Of course they already knew them. So this older wolf not understanding what she meant annoyed her.
"When the leaves change colors. It's like they are catching fire. Woosh, all red and orange. Th-th-the birds do it, didn't you know? It's time for the snows to come, so they burn the leaves all down to tell the other animals it's time to sleep." She cocked her head slightly. Duh. It was that simple.
"They aren't stories."

"..."
She couldn't really think of anything to say. She was, well, speechless. These stories sounded so farfetched, especially the second. Who the hell had ever heard of birds setting the trees on fire to inform the animals on Telk that winter was coming? Was she on something? From the looks of it, no. But seriously... Maybe there was something wrong in her blood? That would explain why she and her brother seemed a little different from the other pups that were running about.
Yeah. That had to be it.
"I've never, in my life, heard that one, kiddo. I think someone's telling you fibs. Birds don't set the trees on fire! The leaves just die, that's why they turn orange and red, then fall down." Don't you know anything?

Gah, she really didn't know! What a disappointment. It was at that moment that she decided she needed to share these stories, ones she thought were of the utmost importance, with those around her. Of course, only at the right times... But still, others needed to know about the birds, the sad wolves, and so many other things!
"I-I-I-I know it does. I am too young to have seen it, b-b-b-but I just know it." There was a firmness in her tone that she had never really possessed when speaking to another, especially a stranger, but it didn't last for long. She sighed and sat up once more, glancing towards the few, frail, remaining flowers. Who would she give them to, next? She would seriously have to think this over. There were other pups and a few adults, several of which she hardly even knew.
"Not fibs, at all. I j-j-j-just know all this c-c-cos I do. You gotta listen."

"If no one's told you and you ain't ever seen it, how do you know something like that, huh?"
She grunted as she stood, her young, strong muscles rippling beneath her dark, chocolate pelt. She didn't really have time for this, even if she was simply meeting and greeting with pack members. She was just a little too spacey and a little too over the top for her to grasp. It was about time to corral this little one back underground, before the rain broke and Draka started to worry.
"You don't make much sense, kiddo. To be honest, it sounds like you're stuck in the clouds or something, really." She sighed and shook her head with slight disdain, but fought to keep from getting too frustrated with the youth. There was no point in completely making her upset, so she had to keep her cool.
"Up, up, come on~"

"Cos I just do. Y-y-you know, l-l-like we know there is wind, even if w-w-we don't see it?" She justified as she, too, stood. She didn't want to head back just yet, but she had the feeling that she would be carried if she protested. She glanced back anxiously at the flowers, not wanting to leave them. She would have to grab them before she left completely.
"It i-i-i-isn't dumb or anything, I-I just know. I know more things that I can tell you, if you wanna hear. Lots of interesting things that happen, it's nice." She was about to speak again when a fat raindrop landed right between her ears, causing her to shudder slightly. Yep, time to go back.
"Awright, lets go, ok?"

"No. I don't really wanna know, kid. You gotta come down to Telk or something." She grumbled as she nudged the pup along, a bit annoyed at the time it was taking her to get moving. She was gingerly picking up those odd little flowers of hers. With a sigh, she nosed the pup again.
"C'mon, don't make me carry you." She chided as she glanced to the sky, feeling a few drops of rain spatter against her dark coat. Cold, just like the air as the dark clouds continued to roll in. Any minute now and the real down pour would start. There wasn't any time for this loitering! Another few seconds and she was fed up.
"Awright pup, I gotta carry you. C'mon." She didn't say another word, merely snagged the pup by the scruff and plodded towards the den site. Toki's maw was full of flowers, thus she couldn't protest.
