Becoming a regular routine by now, Crimson gave a toothy grin as he slipped his lean body through the front bars of his owners large estate. When would humans ever learn that a slatted gate couldnt keep him in with his racers build? Oh well he hoped they never did. The IG gave a great stretch, it felt good being away from that stuffy place. Looking around he found the coast clear, so he took off in a trot down the street, looking for something more interesting to occupy his time.

(I dun have a cert yet... she's a brown & black dachshund)
Cassidy had just sated herself on some scraps throw out at a local restaurant the night before and was currently making her way out of the alley while licking her chops to remove the last bits of meat and cheese that may be stuck to her face.
As she rounded a corner into the nicer area of town she had to skitter to the side to avoid being step on by a rather sleek looking dog. "Hey... watch where you're going why don't you?" she called after the dog wondering if it would stop to acknowledge her or just pretend she didn't exist.

(they're not large dogs, they're under 18lbs)
Crimson stopped in his path, looking down to regard the young pup. "You watch where your going, and watch your mouth while your at it." His tail was held high, a glittering collar shone from around his lean neck as he watched what the smaller dog would do next, his stance was nonchalant due to the dog being a pup, nothing he couldn't handle.

A grimace crossed her features as Cassidy glared at the older dog. How rude could a dog get? Almost step on a puppy and then not even apologize. A growl formed deep in her chest and she bristled up at his comments. "You're the one that almost stepped on me, what are you doing out on the streets anyway? Your shiny collar tells me you're a pet, why don't you run home where you won't get into trouble?"
No one had ever said Cassidy was the brightest bulb on the tree, picking a fight with an older dog wasn't the best idea she'd ever had but she wasn't about to back down when she believed she was right and he was wrong. Sometimes being headstrong causes more trouble than good.

(yeah they range form 8-18 lbs, Crimson's about 12 lbs)
A growl erupted from the sleek dogs throat as he narrowed his eyes at the pup in front of him. "Not a bright one are you? You should learn to respect your elders. I'm not the one bumping into other dogs." Squaring his stance off he continued. "I may be a pet, but I can still teach you a lesson you wont be forgetting anytime soon."

Cassidy sniffed as if amused by his threat. He wasn't really that much bigger than her and she was skilled at getting out of tight spaces which she felt might be of some help if he tried to corner her at all. "I didn't walk into you, you walked into me and you should apologize because I am a lady and lady's should be treated with respect." lifting her head up high she tried to make herself look as regal as possible.
The thought crossed her mind that maybe she should just apologize to the other dog but then, she was stubborn, and she couldn't just give in and apologize now, she would look like a fool.
