After going over some chilling contrasts between Western Civilization and past empires (read: Western Civilization is on its way out, hello, Dark Ages!) I searched the terms and came across this
article from 2007.
It compares the retarded elements of our society to children, and points out that not everyone is an immature brat. This is heartening, as children can change. As the Boomer generation passes away and loses influence, eventually followed by Gen Y (but not before X, our poor Gen X, they of the first internet millionaire generation), maybe this downwards trend will be reversed. Maybe.
A'course, they didn't know a socialist would be elected President at the time of writing. >.>
