Universal Rules:
1. Follow the Gaia TOS. It's very simple and straightforward. Basically, keep it PG-13 and be nice. Do not post anything erotic. You can swear but limit it. Also, just because your character is a jerk, doesn't mean you can be.
2. Obey the point system. It is a ironclad guidance system and will be obeyed at all times. It is designed to regulate the guild and improve it. No exceptions.
3. No God-Modding. This includes autohits and autododges. The act of god-modding is to give your character god-like capabilities such as steel skin which deflects every thing thrown at you, or power so vast you can kill anything you want.
-Autohit: The act of automatically hitting your opponent as stated in your post. i.e. "Kevin dashed forward and hacked horizontally across Michael's chest, cutting him clean in two." Without autohitting: "Kevin dashed forward and hacked horizontally across Michael's chest, hoping to cut him clean in two." Give them the opportunity to deflect or dodge it.
-Autododge: The act of automatically dodging everything thrown at you. This is highly unrealistic as everyone gets hurt in a fight. Even Aizen, the king of god-modding. Your opponent will have the capability to land an attack on you, no matter how fast or strong you are.
4. No Forum Jumping. This basically means do not have your RPC posting in two separate spaces at once. You don't have the capability to be everywhere at once so why should your character? PRPs are the exception. They do not pertain to the storyline and will be implanted at a later time.
5. Exiting signs. If your character leaves one area to go to another, congratulate yourself for following rule #4, then type your destination at the bottom of the exit post in [] or (). Ex: [Exits to Captain's Office]
6. No Squad-Switching. You chose the squad, applied and were accepted. That is a contract and thus should not easily be broken. If you feel you chose the wrong squad, PM a GVC or the GC with your argument. We'll see what we can do to remedy the situation. Switching squads should be a last resort.
7. You may have 2 RPCs at a time, but not of the same race. Hollow is one race so you may not have a gillian and an Vasto lorde or something as such. Visoreds and Shinigami are also the same race, so you may not have a shinigami and a Visored. Quincy and Humans are both human, so as with others you may not have both a Quincy and a human.
8. You may not kill your RPC with the other. If you have a legitimate reason to terminate that character, we can set you against another person's RPC or just state that so-and-so killed your character. You will not use one RPC to increase the point level of the other RPC.
9. Obey all Mods. Our word is law. If you have a complaint or discrepancy, PM a GVC or the GC. We will take care of it.
10. Wait to be accepted. Before you begin roleplaying, you must have your profile accepted by an appropriate mod. Then you must be accepted and ranked in a squad, Las Noches, or as a member of the species on Earth. Being unseated is, in fact, a rank.
11. Limitations.
-Only Captains shall start with bankai.
-Only Espada shall start with a resurreccion.
-Shikai limitations will be decided by your captain.
-Only Captains and vice captains will know shunpo up to the level of mastery.
-Kidou must be learned before you may use it.***
-Hollow abilities such as cero, garganta, hierro, or pesquisa must be learned before you may use them.***
***-Captains and Espada are the exceptions.
