I have no gaydar, so I'm turning to the internet emo There's a girl I have a crush on in my 3rd period class, but I can't tell what her orientation is. I dont want to fall hard for a straight girl and have to deal with the fallout, so if she's straight I would probably distance myself a bit from her. I don't want to if I don't have to though. So how do you guys figure it out?

I second this . If you "ask around" there is a possibility that you'll get the wrong information . Might as well hear the words straight from her mouth .

Sometimes it's impossible to tell without asking, but that can be hard, too, because you don't want to pry or seem like you're assuming.
