Appearance:
Personality: Yuka is a seemingly quiet little girl with a sweet demeanor. She has a sincere respect for adults, and is the softer side to her twins harsh temper. She is also very calm and mildly formal when a situation calls for it. Despite her calm, she’s show that she has the capability for blind rage if her sister is harmed. If you get her talking, you’ll find that she’s a real chatterbox despite how much she listens. Like any younger sister, if she’s shy about something she’ll hide behind Ruka.
History: Yuka was born on the surface of the world with her sister Ruka. They showed the elemental powers inherent in their family. Their family was a group of nomads of a sort, constantly on the move to keep away from the hollows. Every year they would visit the Serene Gardens in the ruins of Karakura Town, hence their “tribe” surname Hana. One time when they went there, hollows attacked before they could reach the garden. The result was utter chaos. The twins were spirited away by their aunt and uncle.
For years they lived as best they could on the surface without visiting the gardens which was their time of peace. Without the rest time of the gardens, their aunt and uncle grew weary and old. They died in another hollow attack when the twins were 7, only having enough time to point them to the Underground before their death. With Yuka in tow, Ruka marched down into the depths of the Underground. Together, they found a home there and began to learn the manipulation of their powers to a greater degree. Yuka only wants to stay with her sister and keep her safe.
Weapon/Medium: A silver ring with a tiger top it, wrapping its talons around a red orb. The orb often shifts within, like it’s glowing or full of clouds. When activated, the ring stretches and wraps itself around Yuka’s left arm like a snake. (Looks similar to this (one on the right))
She also carries a specially-made, child-sized katana from the 12th Division. She uses it to focus her powers.
Release: Freeze em Bya-kun!
Abilities:
-Manipulation and control over ice/snow
-If she focuses her power in her hands she can freeze what she touches
-If she focuses her power in her katana she can freeze what it comes into contact with
-The White Tiger: An attack that drains all her energy. Yuka calls up an enormous tiger of snow that will either freeze, or cause severe frostbite to whoever it touches.
-When working in conjunction with her sister, her attack power increases exponentially and she can utilize ice to a greater degree.
Other Information:
Although she is a child, she has precise reiatsu control to allow her to move at high speeds. It’s to the point where she’s on par with a shinigami’s senka. Due to this, she often fights with her blade or ranged.
She loves spicy foods.
She loves music, and carries around a small flute.
She’s ambidextrous, but prefers to use her left hand.

Weapon Appearance (Inactive State): A silver bracelet with a tiger atop it, wrapping its claws around a red orb. The orb often shifts within, like it’s glowing or full of clouds. The bracelet expands or contracts to fit her wrist.

Weapon Abilities:
-Joō no Ishi (女王の意志 Will of the Queen): Yuka stabs her sword and shield into the ground and kneels before them in prayer. A magic circle filled with Japanese characters stretches out from beneath her and glows ice blue. As the power reaches its peak an enormous shield goes up, covering a 10-20 foot radius depending on the amount of power used. Only the initial forming of the shield draws upon her reiatsu whilst the rest of the time it absorbs reishi in the air around it to maintain itself. Thus, reiatsu based attacks will only strengthen and further the shield. As long as Yuka’s concentration doesn’t break, the shield will remain.
-Joō no Jihi (女王の慈悲 Mercy of the Queen): Yuka need only cast her hand in the direction of her target (which must be within a 10 foot radius) in order to initiate this power. A thin layer of ice steadily creeps up the body of the target, wrapping them safely within and causing them to momentarily still as their wounds are healed and their reiatsu is replenished. The longer they are in the ice and the thicker the cocoon, the faster they heal.
-Creation and manipulation of ice
-Enhanced Speed: With a basic understanding of the concepts of kido, reishi, and the way they work, Yuka has been a speed demon ever since she was a child. At present she is able to move so quickly that she leaves a touchable afterimage behind, similar to Utusemi.
-Byakko no Hajimari (白虎の始まり Beginning of the Byakko): Yuka’s human equivalent to a Bankai. She takes on this appearance in an ice blue kimono, her once green eyes steadily glowing blue. She loses her sword and shield in favor of the snowflake clip on her hair. Despite the soft and flowy look of her kimono it is a thick armor that is difficult to break. Of course, despite all the benefits of this form she can only hold it for a short amount of time [9 posts].
*In this form she is capable of enhancing her healing technique, healing up to three targets at once.
*Her barrier and magic circle are extended for a 30 foot radius.
*She is capable of flight via expanding the snowflake hairclip she wears and leaping atop it so it can lift her up into the air.
*She can wield snow/ice to an even higher degree, allowing her to freeze still targets almost instantly.

Personality: The years have been kind to young Yuka, where once she was a shy little girl with insecurities over her powers she has now blossomed into a mature young woman with an iron will. Reserved yet graceful, she approaches friends with smiles and enemies with patience. Her temper is difficult if not impossible to incite, but the sharp edge to her smile can cut any ego down to size. Once doubtful in herself, she now exudes an aura of confidence and reassurance that many find soothing in its own right. Her gentle nature and iron will make her a strong counterpart to her elder twin and allow her to be both approachable and distant at the same time. Her will to protect her family over the years has only become stronger, and enemies would do well not to underestimate her for her soft looks. From a shy child to a confident young woman, there is no doubt in the minds of the trail of foes she has left in her wake: she is a danger unlike any other.

They died in another hollow attack when the twins were 7, only having enough time to point them to the Underground before their death. Following her elder twin, Ruka, Yuka trailed after her down into the depths of the Underground. Together, they found a home there and began to learn the manipulation of their powers to a greater degree. It was not long after this that the guardians of their family, Rei Seshiro, and his zanpakuto, Shingotsu, took them in and looked after them.
Yuka had no difficulty befriending her new family. She was gentle and kind, a nature brought on not just by the returned kindness of their new caretakers, but by her own suffering over the years as well. For the first years of their lives in the Underground, Yuka was greatly prone to sickness, spurring Ruka and Rei on towards the gardens (which Rei had no problem clearing the way torward) until she could recover. Though it took many years, she slowly found herself able to hold her own more and more beyond the walls of the garden. Eventually it came to the point where she need no longer visit. She did her best to take this new strength and grow further in order to protect the fragile remains of her family. When Rei found his wife, Miku, again, the married pair officially took in Ruka and Yuka as their adoptive daughters.
Unfortunately this reunion came much too late. It was not long after a terrible series of events that the Underground was destroyed and Rei had to leave to the lost city of Yamamoto. He came back half-dead.
The twins were distraught and spent Rei’s last moments with him atop the roof of their home. It was during this time that a monstrous entity known as the HORDE invaded the city, recruiting Rei’s dead body into its fold and resurrecting him as an undead being to perform its bidding. The twins were forced to fight him and, though they did not defeat him, they were forced to lose their adoptive parents when the HORDE was at last defeated and the souls within laid to rest.
Six years passed. The girls moved on in their own way. With Shingotsu, their adoptive aunt, at their side they rebuilt the restaurant and forged onwards on a path into Division. This time, they were not denied entry.
They joined the Sixth Division and trained under Elesria Sarcrent’s watchful eye. She was Rei’s old lieutenant and friend, and had looked after them on occasion when they were children. Under her tutelage and six years, they became the 3rd seats of the Sixth Division. Multi-tasking with the restaurant and their Division, they’ve never been so determined in their entire lives to end the suffering and defeat Aizen once and for all.
