Lalita: -out by the rose patch, sniffing around for something to do. He often found his sister increasingly boring and way to shy and stubborn. He'd tried to get her out in the pack, but she simply kept to herself- Well... if I brought her a rose, maybe she'd be happier. It might brighten her day... right?
Oath: *is tired from her day with the pups, sighing quietly as she reclined atop one of the smaller Neverland Hills to soak up a little sun. It was amazing how energetic they all were; no wonder the parents needed a day off! Though she wished she could do more to alleviate that schism between the two litters...*
Lalita: -sighs as he didn't find a pretty enough rose for his sister and flattens his ears as he walks towards the Hills, blinking as he spotted a pale figure atop of one of them- Oath?
Oath: *Her ears turn towards the sound of her name. She lifted her head to look to the young adult* Hmm? Aah, Lalita, good afternoon. *offers a tired smile* How has today treated you?
Lalita: Oh, today's treated me rather well. -still walking up to her and then flopped down beside her- Can't say the same for my sister, though. She's back in her shell again. I thought a rose might brighten her up. I can't find one pretty enough..
Oath: Hmm . . . Did you try Wonderland? Only roses seem to grow there. *Only red, pink, and the occasional white rose at that!*
Lalita: Yes.. I want... I want an unusual colored one for her. Like.. yellow. Yellow makes her happy. -tail thumps before grinning- I don't know why it does.
Oath: A yellow rose? *blinks* I'm not sure if there is such a thing that grows here, but you're welcome to look. If not, I know plenty of different colored flowers grow in Radiant Garden. not necessarily roses, though.
Lalita: I might try the Garden next. ....All flowers pale compared to you, though, Oath. -grins at her and flicks his tail-
Oath: Oh? *chuckles* I beg to differ. I'm already quite pale, as you see.
Lalita: Ah, but you're so beautiful you put them to shame! -means it this time, looking serious-
Oath: *still looking amused by this sudden compliment, but smiles genuine nonetheless* Well thank you, Lalita. You and your sister have grown handsomely as well. I was wondering if either of you have considered your titles yet, and if any specific job was catching your eye.
Lalita: I wanted to watch over the roses. I know it seems like a stupid thing to say, but... I do. They bring smiles to faces and I want to help contribute to that! As for Jaya... I think she'll be a nanny. She said something about ....liking the pups.. But no title yet.
Oath: *nods* It's good that you both have ideas. Certainly having an official gardener would be helpful, especially during harsh weather. As for Jaya, if she's interested in being a nanny she should come talk with me. I'm the official caretaker of sorts when there aren't other wolves to lend a paw. Mind, the bunch right now truly is an earful.
Lalita: -nods a bit and laughs softly- The Happy Gardner. Or The Flower Child.. -tail flicks as he leans against Oath- So... why don't you take me serious when I compliment you? C'mon. You're beautiful! You said I was handsome, right?
Oath: Yes, I did. *just continues smiling, speaking truthfully* Don't take it wrong, Lalita, of course I know you are being serious. And I appreciate your sentiments. It just seemed out of the blue is all.
Lalita: It's not out of the blue. I've been trying to be serious since I was a bit younger! -huffs but grins and gives her a wink-
Oath: *this was true, she realized belatedly* Then forgive me for not noticing sooner. But where are you going with this line of thought?
Lalita: -shrugs- I find you quite beautiful is all. ..I'm not a kid anymore. That's.. all.. I was trying to say, I think.
Oath: *Nods a little, the motion alone tiring* Again, I appreciate the compliments, Lalita. Truly. Your father raised you with manners, and the pack is bettered by that.
Lalita: -grins a bit and nods, laying his head on her paws- Lay on me if you want. I don't mind it. I have no where to be today. -nods a bit, looking up to her- You seem so tired.
Oath: As I mentioned, the pups were particularly energetic today...All nine of them. *gives another small chuckle, yet she slowly retracts her paws from under his head; Lalita would find that the ground was not all that different than the consistency of her paws, as if he hadn't laid on them at all* I think a rest in my den is in order, but thank you for the offer.
Lalita: Oh, come on. Being with me isn't going to kill you. -snorts and sits up on his rump- ....can I walk you to your den? -hopeful-
Oath: *He was being too persistent, and really letting him have any inch would only prolong this . . . But she was feeling bad for continually putting him down. Sighs quietly* As you wish. *It wasn't his presence that was so draining, but Oath didn't have the energy to explain at this point and merely got to her paws and started down the hill*
Lalita: -walked with her, feeling happy about this development, though he knew if she wasn't so tired she would have declined his offer- ..I'll tell Jaya to come see you about being a nanny of sorts! But not today or tomorrow. I'll give you time to rest before you attempt to talk to her. Lord knows she doesn't do it often.
Oath: Tomorrow is fine, Lalita, don't worry. *Did she look so exhausted? Taking a deep breath, she held her head straighter and found that it wasn't hard to keep up*
Lalita: Alright then. I'll send her your way. -looked at her and gave a true smile, not the flashy ones he usually has on- You get some good sleep tonight.
Oath: *returns the smile* Thank you. Tell your family I send a hello. *With that she turned and eagerly made her way to the back of the den, curling up after a few circles for a good rest*
Lalita: Will do. -nods a bit and lets her go, moving toward his own den-
