Second rehearsal was tonight and I realized that quite clearly. I have no say in anything apparently. I'd feel absolutely terrible about leaving though.
I just wanted to jam with some people. that's all! I didn't think they'd actually accept me.

i can totally do whatever i want with all of my non-existent free time
also, got accepted into my academic program in spain
looks like i actually AM going to be living there for 5 months

You should just turn up to practice with a MacBook and refuse to play anything that isn't huge sine waves at frequencies only just perceivable by humans.
Anyway, I like having a girlfriend. Mainly because it's some soulmate s**t and she, you know, 'gets me'.

single life blows. sometimes. other times it's a blast.
and being in a band is no fun unless the people you're in the band with are actually musically inclined and fun to play music with. i'd prefer solo work though honestly.

what really blows is being in the middle ground between being single and in a relationship. i keep having to shy away from guaranteed awesome hookups with beautiful girls because i'm too stupid and unmotivated to let some things go. for instance, friday night, super attractive girl in pocahontas costume, both of us fairly intoxicated; turned it down kind of stupidly.
such is life
