Part of the fun of Horror Movies is that they are terrifying. whee
I personally, the first Saw is great, the Exorcist, the Omen (original and remake).
If you want more suspense, the Others is great.
I can actually go on and on with horror movies, but I do love gore and terror so if you want tamer stuff, I have to think a little harder lol

Lol.
I would suggest Identity then. It's a psychological thriller. Fantastic!
Well Pandorum was good. The Sixth Sense, Donnie Darko, Dawn of the Dead (2004), The Devils Rejects (more horror/violent), Disturbia was not too bad, Trick R Treat I thought was very good. Oh and The Strangers.
I'll add more later when I have a look at my dvds at home 3nodding

♭♮♯ Sleeping wonder lies to me, and the lies are sweet. The newest remake of Friday the 13th is pretty good. I personally liked the second Saw more than the first, but the others were just downhill... Diary of the Dead was fabulous; done by Romero so it should be. 28 Days Later was good, too. ♩♪♫♬ Music is sung with simple words, and simple words can save the world. ♯♮♭

Well,i personally, like horror movies from back in the day. I suggest you watch Nightmare on Elm street [ the old ones not the remake although both were good. ] You can buy all four of the nightmare on elm street movies in a single pack at target. The Others is a good movie..its scary at first, and the ending is surprising, but it's not too scary 3nodding You should watch My Bloody Valentine [ not the 3D one ] that was a good one

Ominelle I'm kinda new to horror movies, I've watched a few but not many. Can you suggest and good ones to watch that arn't boring but arn't too terrifying? I watched the first two Children Of The Corn films in the holidays. They're pretty old though, like I think the first one is from 1980-something. But I don't think they're too scary. I don't like really scary things and I found them alright. I got a more of an 'on the edge of your seat' feeling rather than actually being scared. If you like anime, then the Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni live action film is okay.

A lot of J-Horror movies are actually pretty damn great. I thought they were retarded at first, 'cause the initial stigma everybody gives them, but I've watched a few and now I must say I'm a huge fan now. You know, they're less IMMA KILL YOUUU and more "FFFFFF- What?" I suggest Noroi [ The Curse ]. Sorry, I just realized I've read more horror Manga than movies, and I'm going to have to remedy that very soon. x3 ♥

Just watched one today, and I'm still trying to watch more horror movies too, but The Haunting in Salem is a good one. It kinda scared me.
