Balia'azima had made a habit recently of wondering farther and farther from her home lands. One day she had managed to walk so far she managed to find herself knee deep in the stench of demon hunter territory. Her mind had been a medley of warped hopes and dreams of lately, and though this warped reality she had designed for herself made her happy, she needed some time away from it.

Her and who she could only define rightly as her mate had been attempting to conceive children recently and all attempts at the act had yielded no results. It frustrated her as she could not help but wonder if he had spent all he was on siring b*****d children (one of whom was not so bad) and with the countless whores he liked to take his carnal pleasures out on. Balia knew there was nothing wrong with her. She was pristine when she first allowed him to take her and had not wasted herself on any other male, not even as a passing fancy.

When the localized stench that was Angra managed to disappear from the area, Balia decided to settle herself down into some grass. She was out of his comfort zone, so there wasn't as great a chance that he would stumble across her unless he was actively looking for her. She didn't think he would actively be looking for her.

She took the time to enjoy the nice afternoon that had presented itself. Most within her pride were still asleep, but some days Balia enjoyed the company of the sunlight. It was warm and made her feel a little happy inside. Balia took in the breeze as it wafted over the lands and smiled to herself, "Feels like a dream."

Lilavati lie in a tree not to far off from the demon lands. She was far enough away to go unnoticed, but not so far away that she would be out of the loop as far as the goings on around the pride. This afternoon, she was sleeping, lightly hidden from the late afternoon sun, by the leaves covering the thick branches of her sleeping spot.

Lila heard a rustle and slowly opened at eyes to observe her surroundings. She hardly moved as she looked around as currently she had no desire to attract a possible conflict. Seeing nothing, he eyes fluttered shut, but as they did she noticed a peck of gold and black.

Lila opened her eyes once more and let her gaze wander over to the gold and black spot and what she saw made her eyes fly open and her senses return to her quickly. 'Was she dreaming or was her daughter lying just a few feet away?'

Lila said nothing, but her movement as she rose caused a bit of rustling in the tree, though she did not care. Lila had no desire to hide from her daughter.

Balia's ears perked up as soon as she heard the rustling of the tree's branches. She almost wanted to groan as thoughts of Angra having been there the whole time raced through her head. She was attempting to spend time away from him today, after all, and was not amused at the prospect of being courted into mating at the moment. When she looked up she was surprised at who she saw. The rustling in the trees had come from another lioness, who seemed less than cautious as to Balia's presence.

Balia's head quirked to the side and her ears began to lay flat against her head in annoyance, though her eyes showed curiosity. She had no doubt this lioness was going to interrupt her quiet time, but for some reason it didn't bother her as much as she thought it was. She seemed familiar in a sense, but still foreign. It ate at her mercilessly in those few moments since she spotted the lioness. She knew her. She knew she knew her, but she couldn't remember where she knew her from.

Balia stood up quickly, her ears flicking forward and her body language stiff, "YOU. What is your name?"

It was on the tip of her tongue. She knew who this person was from some distant memory, but she couldn't place it. She needed to place it.

Lila frowned seeing her cub stiffen at her presence. It angered her and her thoughts flew to Nyota for a moment. It should not have been like that. She should have been the one to have raised her cubs, not him. She was so irritated in just those few seconds that she did not realize that he daughter had spoken to her for several moment, before words seemed to reach her brain rattling around.

"My name is Lilavati, but you have never called me that Balia'azima," she said using her child name. She remembers each of there names and how could she forget, she had watched them from afar for so long, at first in sadness and later plotting revenge against Nyota.

Lilavati jumped down from the tree, with the grace of a leopardess, that showed she must have been climbing all her life. She held herself with an aire of importance, fore how could she not, she was Balia's mother.

Balia's eyes narrowed when the other lioness introduced herself. Lilavati... The name sounded familiar but she couldn't place from wear off the top of her head. The overwhelming familiarity of the lioness only intensified when she spoke Balia's name. Not many outside of the pride knew it, and even Angra only referred to her by the first part of it. Balia barred her teeth, unnerved by her own inability to recall where she knew this lioness from.

"How do you know my name?" She asked, studying the lioness before her. The clay colored patches were another familiarity to Balia. It reminded her of her brother, Tamin. The markings also seemed familiar. They were like her blue patches, though they almost blended in with Balia's black coat and were certainly obscured by her golden markings.

"I don't know a Lilavati, and I don't know how you managed to know my name," Balia said, holding her head up high, her ears foreward, though her tail was pinned beneath her, "But I demand to know how my name has managed to cross your lips."
