This is a thread strictly for posting your characters role playing profile-- be it original or cannon. A staple for guilds that include character play.

Please try to be descriptive. This will help others that need a brief synopsis of a character or simply a little jog of memory.

Should it help, here is a basic backbone for the profiles.

It has a bullet-proof glass helmet that is usually used in dignitary's cars.

He has a genius level intellect, with more knowledge over everyone in the subject of criogenics.

Cryo Suit: Wears a suit that keeps his body temperature below freezing. His refrigeration suit grants him:
Super Human Strength
Superhuman Durability

Weaknesses: His body can only survive in sub-zero temperatures.
Back Story/Biography:As a child, he is fascinated by freezing animals. His parents, horrified by his "hobby", send him to a strict boarding school, where he is miserable, feeling detached from humanity. In college, he feels that he may never feel a warm touch, but then came Nora, a beautiful athlete, whom he falls deeply in love with and ultimately marries.
Nora later falls terminally ill by a rare malady. Fries takes on a job working for a large drug company run by the ruthless Ferris Boyle so he can find a cure. Using his great intellect and passion for cryogenics, Fries discovers a way to put Nora into cryo-stasis (using company equipment), hoping to sustain her until a cure could be found. Boyle finds out about the experiment and attempts to have her brought out of stasis, overruling Fries' frantic objections. A struggle ensues, in which Boyle kicks Fries into a table full of chemicals and leaves him for dead. Fries survives, but the chemicals alters his body chemistry and his body temperature is lowered dramatically; he can now only survive at sub-zero temperatures, he escaped unnoticed with frozen nora. In hiding he invented a special refrigeration suit to stay alive, and used cryonic technology to create a powerful gun, which fires a beam that freezes any target within its range.
With this technology he became a criminal with a taste for diamonds and Revenge.

Name: Morgaine Le Fey

User Image

Aliases:none

Physical Description:Adorned in ancient golden armor, with a violet cape and sash. Her blackish greenish hair is the only thing able to be seen from her body, her ageing body hidden in the armor
Abilities:Black Magic (energy balls, energy electricity, limited telekenisis, limited energy sheild), Limited Youth/Immortality.

Weaknesses:her powers dwindle slowly each and everyday, needing to absorb youth and energy from others. Also, strong enough magic and power can effect her. If her armor is also ripped off, her human body is vulnerable.

Back Story/Biography:Morgaine le Fey is the ancient and diabolical sorceress of Arthurian legends. Her history is slightly different from the legends but she is a sorceress gifted in the arts of black magic. She uses her gifts without restraint and is quite willing to destroy the universe in order to gain more power. In the 6th century, Morgaine le Fey and her sisters Morgause and Elaine (themselves adepts of sorcery) are the children of Igraine and Duke Gorlois of Cornwall. Morgaine comes to blame her half-brother King Arthur, child of Igraine and Uther Pendragon (her father's killer), with stealing her birthright and that of her sisters. She conspires against him throughout his time on the throne and seeks the destruction of Camelot.

In the waning days of Camelot, Merlin merges his demon familiar Etrigan with a man, Jason Blood, as part of a last ditch effort to defend the kingdom against Morgaine le Fey's assault. Blood had been an ally of le Fey and is bonded to the Demon as penance. He and Morgaine become enemies henceforth. Following the fall of Camelot, Morgaine continues to practice her dark arts and retains her youth for many centuries, always seeking more power and a new kingdom to rule. By the 20th century, Merlin has arisen anew and tricks Morgaine, causing her to lose her youth and beauty which she had preserved using her magics. She wishes to replenish her youth with Merlin's secrets. She forces Jason Blood to become the Demon again and to lead her to Merlin's tomb. The Demon eventually strives to keep Morgaine le Fey from restoring her youth with the powers of Merlin.

Name: Sandra Woosan
Aliases: Lady Shiva, The Jade Canary, The Paper Monkey, Tengu
Physical Description: Shiva engages is regular exercise enabling Lady Shiva to press lift at least her body weight.
Abilities: Master Martial Artist: Lady Shiva is a deadly assassin and one of the preminent martial artists on the planet. She has combined many moves and elements from numerous martial arts including a few forgotten ones to create a combat form that matches her own strengths. Among the identified forms are Leopard Kung Fu, Judo, Capoeira, Kokusho, Savate, Karate, Dragon Kung Fu and Stick Fighting. She is very effective in battle agianst single to multiple opponents and rivals many others fighters such as Batman and even her own daughter whom she has defeated on at least one occasion.
Weaknesses: None known.
Back Story/Biography: Not much is known about Sandra Wu-San before the murder of her sister, Carolyn. After her sister was murdered, a rich and powerful criminal named Cravat convinced Sandra that a 'spy' named Richard Dragon had killed her. There was a spark of what Sandra would become in her even then. Cravat saw that spark in Sandra and took advantage of her, sending her after Dragon for reasons of his own. Dragon was a world class martial artist. Knowing that she would have to be well-trained to avenge her sister, Sandra trained herself in martial arts. As she trained, she found that she had a natural inborn skill for the movements and the techniques. Her skills increased at an unheard of speed until she felt as though she was ready to find and challenge Dragon.

The battle she craved was not to be. After tracking Richard Dragon down, he managed to explain that Cravat had lied about the identity of Carolyn's killer. Cravat had used her for his own purposes in an attempt to kill Dragon. With this revelation and no knowledge available to her as to who actually had killed her sister, Sandra's purpose vanished. There was no need for her extensive martial knowledge and all of the training she had done. Seeing the potential for great things in her, Dragon continued to teach Sandra, the training giving her purpose again. He also coaxed her to explore the spiritual side of martial arts. During that exploration of herself and the mystic world, Sandra discovered what she saw as important truths. These discoveries helped her decide to let go of her past and to embark upon a new life, a new future - from then on she was Sandra no more, renaming herself Shiva.

Name: Lois Lane(Kent)
Aliases: Super-Woman, Supe's, Boss-Lady, Wonder Woman
Physical Description: Tan skin, taller then a average woman, amazing cheek bone's.
Abilities: Super-speed, super strength, and many more power's similiar to Superman and Wonder Woman, including a lasso that doesn't change shape, but releases the inhibitions of anyone tied with it (just as Wonder Woman's compels victims to tell the truth). She also possesses heat vision, as Superman and Ultraman do.
Weaknesses: None Known.
Back Story/Biography: Superwoman is considered by some to be the most twisted member of the evil Crime Syndicate. She is married to Ultraman, Earth-3's version of Superman, whom she despises, though she seems to have a variety of lovers. She has an arrangement with Jimmy Olsen, which involves him watching her undress in order to reward him for giving her information. Her nickname for him is: "Superwoman's Snitch: Jimmy Olsen." She is also involved with Owlman, her world's version of Batman. It is undetermined whether this relationship is purely of a sexual nature, or if there are deeper feelings involved. Ultraman is aware of this relationship, but has so far refrained from ending the affair, because of blackmail material Owlman possesses. Though her alter ego goes by the alias Lois Lane, she is generally considered to be an alternate version of Wonder Woman. This was rather pointedly illustrated (JLA v3 110) where she dressed up as Wonder Woman and pretended to be her. She has different powers than the traditional Wonder Woman, however. Her powers are generally those of a female version of Superman, including flight, super strength, and heat vision. One thing she shares in common with Wonder Woman is a magical lasso, though Superwoman's lasso releases inhibitions, unlike Diana's lasso of truth.

Mr Carl Sands

PostPosted: Mon Feb 13, 2012 12:51 pm

Name: Carl Sands

Aliases: Shadow Thief

Physical Description: Male, 6'6", 175lbs, brown eyes, black hair, however, while the Dimensionmeter is activated, Shadow Thief's body is adorned in all black, disguising all facial features.

Abilities: Thanks to the 'Dimensiometer', Sands can shift his body into a 'shadow' state. While it's activated he can move quickly and silently across and through most surfaces and materials, all the while remaining impervious to physical contact and attack. However, he soon became dependent on his own with the powers and no longer needed the Dimensiometer. Later, Starbreaker gave him the power to draw strength from the shadows around him, allowing him to form weapons from them, create portals, and even turn his opponents' shadows into living duplicates of themselves.

Weaknesses: Large sources of light can greatly weaken Sands.

Back Story/Biography: While growing up in Japan, American Carl Sands learned ninjutsu techniques and became a rather undistinguished industrial saboteur, accepting unremarkable sums to hinder and eliminate his clients' rivals. The Thanagarian criminal Byth then hired Sands to steal Hawkman and Hawkwoman's ship. To help Sands with this job, Byth gave him a Thanagarian belt device/"shadow vest" known as a Dimensiometer, which gave Sands the ability to shift his body into a shadow form. (In the Pre-Crisis version, Sands was given the dimensiometer in return for inadvertently helping Thar Dan, an alien explorer from the Xarapion dimension.)

Hawkman eventually defeated him, but Shadow-Thief would come into conflict with him many times after that. He would later become a member of the Injustice Gang which came into conflict with Hawkman and his allies, the Justice League of America. He lost the belt to the Phantom Stranger, but he gained a shadow suit. He eventually sold his soul to Neron for more power. Neron gave him a more powerful shadow suit with the ability to turn other people and objects into shadows.

Professor Bennett, a man whose life's ambition was to patent efficient solar technology, learned of a French scientist name DuPree who was doing the same work. He hired Sands to attack DuPree, to slow him down just enough to give Bennett enough time to pusblish everything first. However, Sands was caught for the first time because of this.

The demon Neron granted Sands more power by giving him a new shadow suit, now with the ability to not only change him into a shadow, but other people and objects as well. Sands struck in Solar City, an island resort that was still under construction. Solar City had been built by Professor Bennett, and Sands wanted revenge. However, there was a press junket on the island, and both Linda Park and Billy Batson were there, and Linda had brought Wally West along. So both the Flash and Captain Marvel were on hand to defeat him.

Recently, the Shadow Thief has entered into the employ of St. Roch art trader Kristopher Roderic. Sands has been sent to the ends of the earth in service of Roderic's dark aims, and is hopeful that the unscrupulous collector will help him with a problem of his own.
Identity Crisis

During the events of Identity Crisis, Shadow Thief became deranged and began having delusional conversations with the Dimensionmeter. He ended up apparently killing Firestorm with Shining Knight's mystically enhanced sword. For killing Firestorm, he was prosecuted by Kate Spencer (a.k.a. Manhunter IX).

Shadow Thief is later seen as a member of the Injustice League.
