Well, I think Mello would have shot Near at some point..
Though he might be more intent on making Near uncomfortable..
But definitely they would have solved the case together..If just to get apart.

Yeah i agree. I think they would have put their differences aside and worked together to solve it first, then mello would have shot near. xD But ofcourse the rest of the SPK team would have intervened.

lol no kidding! I think if they were placed together like that one of three things would have happened.
1> they would have killed each other.
2> they would have totally ignored each other until the case was solved and done
3> they would just fist fight all the time with no good output...

I mean, Mello's awesome and Near has a RC rubber duck, but they were not made to work together...

If Mello and Near are the way I know them, they would work together because they both have a common interest. They both hate Light! rofl

Mello never liked the fact that Near would more likely gain L's position. He even went rogue because of it. So yeah, if he could he would've really just kill the boy.
