What do you think?
I’ve told you I’ve liked you for years now
You just smile at me and say wow
I pour out my heart to you
I know that these feelings are true
You go and ask out my best friend
Trying to get our friendship to end
Well guess what it won’t work
It just makes my feeling even more hurt
I get that you don’t like me back
But do you really have to hurt me like that
The only guy I’ve ever liked
You tear my heart apart despite
Then you act like you did nothing wrong
Thinking I’ll just play along
Not this time, I’m sorry I won’t
I thought you cared, but you don’t
I dreamed of it being just you and me
But that will never happen and now that I see
I give up, you win this fight
I go to bed crying each night
But this is what you wanted right?
Love is only black and white
There is no gray or in between
Now that I have seen
So I smile and walk away
Not letting you know what I really have to say
I will not let you see the tears I cry
I will not ask or wonder why
I may not ever get over you
But that doesn’t mean this friendship isn’t through
I’m done with all your stupid lies
And though I may wonder why
I will never let you see all the pain you caused inside
You tore me apart with one small lie

*hugs* I can tell this poem is full of pain. Overall it is well written but try experimenting with different styles of poetry. A few words that you used seemed out of context. I really do like this though, despite how sad it is. Keep writing!
