 Ho hum. Katsu let out a wide yawn as he walked along the side of one of the rivers trailing outside of his tribe's territory, having been following along it most of the day with something on his mind. Hollow, the vixen he had met just recently. There was just something about that girl that just seemed to click right away with him. It might have been her looks, her attitude, or even just the way she put herself off when around him, but he liked it. No, he loved it. It was energizing and exciting, having someone like that to be around instead of the near constant dreary moods the majority of his family members had gained. What had ever happened to those happier times when his Uncle Pyre had been around? And Raijin? And..
Now wasn't the time to think about them. They had gone missing, and that was their business, not his. They weren't even his real family!.. When he thought of that, Katsu gave a grunt and an annoyed flick of his ears back. No, they were still his family. Nothing would change that. "Alright, where is she?" He said out loud to himself, changing the subject as he tried to will the female from before out into the open.
It would be nice to just forget about all that crap and have some fun.

 Hollow, the swift tongued, rash, and rather outgoing vixen was tired. She had lost her sister, somehow, someway. Yes, her sister, the one fox she never let out of her sight. Hollow kept to herself a lot, but not because she didn't like people. She just liked watching, making sure Himeko was alright and safe. She was the silent guardian. But now Hollow's beloved twin was gone. She had been running off a lot lately and Hollow suspected it was that damn Phim, Kaname! He was stealing her from him!
Speaking of males, her mind wandered back to Katsu. One of the only males to ever speak to her and not her sister instead. Her sister was known for attention, but Hollow was more sarcastic, blunt, and liked to play rough. That scared others off. And she was protective to the extreme. No one understood she wanted to joke around too! Hell, she wanted to play pranks once in awhile and play around, but of course other seemed to avoid her. It wasn't her fault she was over protective of Himeko! She was her only family.
But Katsu had focused on her. She would never admit it outloud, but she wanted to see him again. Badly. Something about him made his image linger in her mind, and no one ever caught her interest that much! She was awful with names, but she knew his! Damn, was she going soft?
She was traveling alongside a river, having decided to take a break from Kemet. She only joined to be with her sister, secretly she hated the heat there, though the people made up for it. She liked the weather better her, where bamboo lied and the sun wasn't overbearing.

No way. Had he actually done it? Giving a confused blink of his maroon eyes, Katsu stared at the familiar looking vixen nearby. She looked... a tad bit lost. But, of course, that was understandable. Putting on a wide grin, he began to head towards her, running and making sure not to trip over any bamboo sprigs or rocks as he moved. Man, was it true that he was far more energetic than he had been just a moment ago? Maybe it was just a trick of the mind. Maybe he was just thinking that. He honestly didn't give a crap, though! Hollow was there, waiting for his unseen arrival.
"Boo?" Weaving himself through the stalks of bamboo near her, Katsu sidled up to Hollow, giving a cat-like rub of his body along her side. "Hello again, Miss Hollow." Then again, that might give her a heart attack or something in her surprise at his touch.. Ah well, it had been done! Heart attack or not, she was there for him to have some fun with... 'I do think I'd prefer her alive, though.' Smirking at the thought, he craned his head to look at her.
..Oh. Oh, she didn't just look lost. She looked sort of.. worn out. Was she okay?
"Hey. Are you alright?" Katsu questioned with his smirk fading away, turning into a small frown as he gave her cheek a gentle nudge with his muzzle. "You look tired, girl."

Yellow eyes widened as she heard a voice, ears flicking as her lips twitched into a semi-growl, caught off guard and immediately switching to attack mode. That is, until she saw white fur and felt a warm body press against her. Her eyes flicked to spot the culprit, a smirk playing on her lips. It was Katsu, it seemed the fox she had wanted to see was right here before her eyes, which was startling because her bad luck always drove the good things away. Yes, she had a curse, and damn did she hate it!
She nodded at the question, flicking her tail his way before grinning. "Maybe I'm tired because you're here?" She teased, knowing or rather hoping he could take a joke. She didn't want to scare him away.
A mini sigh escaped her lips, head shaking as she let out a tiny yawn. Oh, being playful was to much for the tired vixen. "Enough with this Miss crap, or I'll call you Sir Katsu." She grumbled at him, smacking him with her tail lightly.
"I'm fine, just tired from traveling all the way from a desert to here."

"Oh, what, because of me?" Feigning a small, over exaggerated look of pain, he then allowed his smirk to return over his lips. "Nah, I don't think that's it at all." He sat himself down beside her, content with plopping his head down on the small of her back, wagging his tail to and fro all the while. My, wasn't she a comfortable female~
Aw, that smack from her pretty little tail hurt. Lazily, Katsu raised a front paw, pawing in the air at where her tail had been before resting it on her back along with his head. "Sir Katsu? That has a nice ring to it. Not my style, though." Aw, she didn't like polite titles? Well good, neither did he! His dad had drilled it into his head to be polite when around females and higher ups, with him having Elder uncles, but he didn't see much of a point to it. Names were there to be used! What other use did they have if you addressed others as sir or miss?.. Then again, if it was her calling him something like that, he didn't mind. "Alrighty then, as you wish." His ears perked up when she spoke of her travel, giving a slight scrunch of his nose as he tried to think of why she would have come all the way out here. Hm.
"From a desert?.. Now why on earth would you go from there to here? Any reason in particular?" He asked, giving her a grooming lick on the neck after he had spoken. Quiet for just a moment, he then grinned toothily and chuckled. "You come to see me?"
His father would have probably swatted him in the face for being so cheeky.

Well, wasn't he a very forward male? She allowed him to rest on her, partially because she was growing cold from night approaching, and partially because she was rather interested in the male. Oh not like interested, hell, she wasn't like that, was she? Noooo. No no no NO! Anyway, he made it less cold, so his extra warmth was accepted with a sly smirk.
The exhausted female raised her tail just near his paw when he swiped, taunting him. "Missed, are you always that slow?" She teased, smirking even more.
Though, when he dared to even say she was here for him the vixen scuffed, shaking her head at him. Yeah, so he remembered his name and face, so what? She certainly wasn't here for him. No way in hell. She just hated the desert, thats all.
Denial was something she planned on holding onto.
She twitched at his lick, not the kind of fox to blush at the contact, instead sticking her tongue out at him. "Whatcha trying to point out, that I'm dirty?" She mused before answering his question from before. "Just wandering, I like to travel but never can cuz I joined a tribe I'm not to fond of." She murmured, shaking her head. "No way did I come for you, I didn't even remember your name till now." Oh that was a damn lie, and she knew it. Did he? Oh, did it matter?

"Mmm, no, not always~" He answered with a grin, reaching out and giving the tip of her ear a light swat with his paw. Hah! "I'm just being slow right now." When she shook her head in reply, Katsu put on a small, obviously fake pout. "No? Oh, that hurts my poor lil' heart." The male muttered teasingly, giving her back another gentle lick as he listened to her speak.
Oh ho! So, she was in a tribe too, huh? Interesting. Was that sister of hers in it as well? Maybe that was why she was stuck there. Ah... hm. Now that he thought about it a little, she hadn't told him her sister's name yet. Whatever, he'd find that out later on.
"So, your traveling a little now, hm? Sounds like loads of fun." Katsu said with a short sigh, the idea of being able to stray a bit aways from his own tribe more than tempting. Alas, his dad would probably strangle him for just up and leaving. So being out here would have to do.
He suddenly grinned widely, pulling himself away from her and backing himself up. Then, giving a mischievous laugh, he lunged at Hollow, pouncing on her rather gently, taking how tired she was into consideration. "You didn't remember me? What a shame!" His tail swayed freely behind him as he stared down at her from above, the male grinning all the while. "Should I make it so you don't forget this time, Hollow?" Playfully, he ran his muzzle through the black fur hanging over her face, making it messier than it had been just before. "And yes, your just a tad dirty."

She nipped the air when he licked her again, smirking to herself. Her ear flicked, lowering against her head as she responded with a swift swat at his tail. Her eyebrows raised at his second little jest, amusement rushing through her. He was interesting indeed, bolder than most of the males she had met. She scanned him from bottom to top, noting and appreciating each and every detail, until her eyes fell on his face, which was making another dramatic face of sorts. She rolled her eyes at him, huffing in response.
"Now why would I come here to see you?" She questioned, though she didn't want an answer. The question was, why wouldn't she?
"Traveling of sorts. I tend to stay away from the tribe unless I'm needed, it's almost like I don't even belong there." She answered with. Her eyes widened as his weight suddenly was removed and lunged back on her, letting out a tiny oof and whipping her head around to give him a good smacking for it, caught off guard by his question and hair mussing up. Her lips twitched into a smirk, eyes narrowing as she eyed Katsu.
Gutsy with a female he hardly knew. She laughed at him, almost mockingly. "I doubt anything you could do could keep your name in my head, I have such bad memory." She answered with, ears flicking as he spoke her name. Her mind raced, shouting something similar to he-remembers-my-name-he-remembers-my-name-he- No, get a grip! Her hair being tossed about made the female roll away from Katsu, standing and using her tail to run through his hair until it was an utter chaotic mess. Satisfied, she sat on her haunched and once again stuck her tongue out at him.
"Now lets see you try and find a mate with that kind of hair, Sir Katsu."

Katsu raised a brow at her laugh, his tail seizing it's near constant wagging. Was she.. was she mocking him? How dare she. About to throw back a sly remark, her tail passing by his nose and running through his hair.
FFFF. The male blinked a few times, resisting the urge to sneeze from the light tickling of his snout. Oh-OH.. Oh, okay. Whoo. That was close. 'Sneaky little vixen.' The need to sneeze now passed on, he followed the female with his eyes, his smirk returning. Hah, yeah. That little trick with her tail.. She was cute. "Oh, really?" Katsu questioned as he followed after Hollow, giving a determinedly wicked grin. "I could try, couldn't I? Keeping you from forgetting little.. old... me." At his 'me', he made his way up to her side from behind, giving her a quick little nuzzle on the cheek before continuing to walk. Hah hah hah!
"With this hair?" He continued to walk a short moment before coming to a stop. Turning his head with a quirked a brow, he gave a flick of his head and sent the already messy mane of his into the most random of directions, leaving it in even more of a mess. Tch. He didn't care. "Please~"
Hah!... Actually, the part about finding a mate was already in the process. Whoa, whoa, whoa. Wait. Did he actually want to be hitched to another fox? After all this time of freedom and fun? No more being a bachelor? He flicked his eyes to look over at Hollow for a moment, thinking to himself before giving a small, toothed smirk. Things were bound to be twice as fun if it was with this one. The idea was very tempting.
Very tempting.

She raised an eyebrow at him as he commented on making her remember him, about to send a joking tease before he slipped beside her and nuzzled her. Normally she'd not like such contact, yet here this male was, already having used her as a pillow before and now nuzzling her. Maybe because it seemed he was usually like this? Or maybe because she didn't mind.
"I guess there isn't any harm in trying." She replied with, waggling her eyebrows at him and smirking cat like before rubbing the side of her face with her paw, pretending like she really had no idea what was even happening. Her eyes were closed, but one opened just in time to see Katsu wag his hair about. She chuckled at his comment, rolling her eyes.
"Trying to play the bad boy, eh? You fail at it." She couldn't help but giggle, rolling her eyes yet again. Sheesh, this boy was hyper, and hadn't yet ran away from her, yet. He even had some good responses back. He wasn't that bad to hang around with.
'Oh shush it girl, he's just another loud fox.' She flicked her tail his way, padding off to the trees and raising her head so he could see one side of her face.
"Well, you gonna invite a girl to eat or what? Tell you what, dinners my treat."

No harm, hm? "Alright then. I'll go ahead and try." Katsu said as Hollow went on to giggle and give a roll of her eyes. He gave her a once over as she groomed the fur on her cheek back to how it was before, perhaps smoothing it out more so than it had been before he had gone and messed it up. He didn't pay much attention to that, though. What was his attention on, then?
Her eyes.
He hadn't really noticed them before.. Well, not as much as he was right now. All he had known was that they were yellow, mind focused intently on throwing back replies and doing little attempts to get her heart racing slightly. Now? The male noticed how cat-like those eyes of hers were, black slits against that pretty yellow. In fact, a lot of things about her were cat-like. The way she put herself off, some of her attitude, appearance, the way she moved. Oh. Hey, wait! Where was she going? Oh, so she was intent on having dinner plans with him. Yeah, that was alright. He was too far away from his tribe to be heading back for a timely meal anytime soon, so he was more than happy to comply.
Especially with such an interesting female.
"Dinner, huh? M'kay, girly, let's see what kind of a meal we can rouse up." Katsu followed after her with a rumble of a growl's start coming from his throat, lunging once again at her, this time snatching her tail in his mouth. The large, dark tufted end secured in his maw's grip, he trotted up beside Hollow, flashing her a cocked eyebrow and a smirk. She had called herself a girl, after all. Didn't want that pretty little tail of hers to get dirty. "I can be bad a**." He stated, voice muffled by the fluff and tail in his mouth. He hadn't even told her about that fight with the bobcat when he was a kit, or the fight with his brother, or.. or...
Damn, she was pretty.

Her body tensed when she heard his growl and he lunged, however she noticed his pounce would only land him behind her. Her ears flicked as he indeed did land behind her, about to make some sarcastic remark about how he wasn't a rabbit when her tail was grabbed. The black fur of her tail hidden inside his mouth by now she could only stare at him in response, shocked by the sudden attack on her tail.
What in the world went through his head?
"I meant we hunt animals, not one another." She lightly mused, watching him join her side, tail still in his mouth. She rolled her eyes, pawing at his ears and beginning to pick her pace up, testing how well he could follow while munching on her tail.
"If you call nomming on someones tail bad a** then I'm sure you are. Though, don't blame me when you trip." She quickened her pace yet again, obviously testing his speed and also playing a little game. What had he expected, grabbing her tail like that? She didn't mind, in fact she sort of liked when Katsu made contact with her, though she was not ready to admit that yet.
She turned on him, nipping his cheek gently and pawing at his mouth, attempting to free herself so she could attempt and teach him a lesson. If this was how he thought he should treat a girl then he needed some tips on how to deal with one when they turned on him, because his tactic would surely involve a lot of abuse from vixens.

Hm, hm, hm! Katsu was more than delighted at being able to surprise her, smiling around her tail clamped in his mouth. "We can do both, can't we?" He said out loud in a muffled voice, eager at first at his remark, but then quickly growing a tad disappointed. Aw no, his little comebacks would be muffled? Unheard, even? That wasn't cool!
"Oi!" He gave a rapid twitch of his ears as she pawed at them, his tail wagging at a slow but steady pace behind him all the while. What was she up to? Trip?.. Oh. He wasn't about to let her get him just yet. The male eyed her with maroon eyes as she began to move at a faster pace, looking much like a kit following after it's mother with a day's favorite chew toy secured in it's mouth. Except this fox was moving quicker than any regular old kit, Katsu moving at a little fast paced trot beside Hollow.
"Oh? What have you done that's so bad a** then, gir-" He was cut off as she began to n** and paw at his mouth, the male confused for a short moment before letting out a grunt and turning his head up just a bit and away from her. No, she was trying to take his tail! She couldn't have it. It was his now! "You can't have it back~" Katsu teased playfully, giving a muffled laugh as she nipped at his cheek gently. That actually felt kind of ni-
Oh crap! No! His laughing had resulting in her tail slipping from his mouth's once secure grip. She. could. not. have. it! Snapping at the falling tail, he snatched it in his mouth loosely, the entire dark fluffed end in his maw. Quickly leaning down and forward, he poked his nose against Hollow's, flashing her a grin. "You can't have it! I want it." Katsu's voice was a little bit clearer now, but still slightly muffled by her fur. Pushing himself forward, he gave her a little Eskimo kiss with his nose. Did he want the tail or did he want her?..
He.. he looked rather silly. A tail stuffed in his mouth, his tail wagging faster, and his nose squished up against hers.

The orange vixen hissed out a low laugh in response to his, cocking her head to the side. Her tail being released sent the female into a crouch, about to tackle the male when her felt her tail being captured once more. What was up with this male and her tail? It wasn't anything special! Though she had to admit she didn't mind the contact, for now.
Until he touched her nose.
The female was taken by surprise, blinking yellow eyes at him and letting out a yelp. Her ears immediately pressed against her head, she hadn't expected the touch. In response she moved her face away, jabbing it under his face and nipping the underside of his cheek, all to hide that subtle blush that was growing on her face.
"Come on, lets go get some food before I end up eating you."
((Do you want to throw in some ferocious beast for them to fight off?))

Well, it was easy to say that he wasn't expecting that sort of reaction. Katsu blinked in surprise at Hollow as she let out her yelp, ears perking up at the noise. He hadn't hurt her, had he? His tail's swaying slowing down to a timid little beat, he started to pull himself back away from her, just a little. His action was halted, however, when she ducked her head underneath his chin. Was she blushing just a bit? Had he actually seen a blush on those pretty cheeks of hers? What was she doi-
Oh, that kinda felt nice.
He allowed her tail to slip out of his mouth's grasp finally. All of his previous thoughts now pushed to the side, Katsu let out a short little sigh through his nose, content with the situation. It was always nice to have a vixen close by. 'Especially this close~' When she spoke, he had to resist giving a child-like whine, instead softly grumbling. He didn't want to move! Then again, Hollow wanted a meal, and he was starting to feel the faint pangs of hunger himself. "You would really eat me? You're so nice." Katsu teased with a smirk, slipping her a quick and rough lick on the muzzle as he reluctantly pulled himself away from her.
"Let's go find somethin' to eat then, shall w-... Ssh. Quiet." His voice trailed off for just a second as he tried to figure out exactly what the hell was close by. He said nothing else, motioning with a paw for Hollow to keep quiet. His smirk now long gone and a glare replacing it, the male began to walk to the side of them, the start of a growl making it's way up. Approaching a mass of bushes and other assorted plants, he reached a paw out slowly, in mid-swat before the two's little 'stalker' burst out.
Katsu finally let out that growl, eyes whipping to look over at Hollow with an 'I told you so!' look, before turning his attention back to the feline yowling at them. Goooood. Already he was ready to rip the friggin' thing's face off.
It had to be a god damn bobcat!
