One particular ghost liked to wander the halls, looking for school supplies to nab and collect. She needed more! Plus with the campaigning coming up, she was running like a madwoman to the copy machines to make posters and design her logo. So much to do! Scratching her head, Kasumi's great mane of hair was tied back with spiderweb for the time being while she worked. With a pile of books in one hand, she'd just come from the library and gotten distracted with checking out a few tomes she'd wanted to look at for a while now. Pride and Prejudice and Zombies and Sense and Sensibility and Seamonsters. Ah, classics! Kasumi smiled as she made her way back through the halls. Things were relatively quiet with everyone either in their dorms working on something or attending a club.
She liked the quiet time sometimes. It allowed her to focus on her work and studies. Classes were going well, which she was proud of. She signed up for and attended three thus far, and was a hopeful in the Fearleading tryouts. Busy, but very thankful for that! Busy meant something to do all the time and little time to dwell on the fact that she couldn't remember a thing about the time in the human world.

Junko had been about to head back to her dorm for a nap, she was exhausted because She had been in some kind of mood last night and wouldn't let the poor ghoul sleep a single wink, when on her way She had 'accidentally' spilled a bag of sticky candies in her hair, getting several of them stuck. Ugh! Seriously!? So now Junko was stuck trying pick and brush sticky candy from her hair on her way to bathe instead of nap like she would've liked.
"Did you have to drop the whole bag?" She whined, flicking a piece of candy back into the bag before combing through her hair to find more. She'd gotten a few pieces out already but it hurt a lot when they got stuck, and they were leaving behind a sticky residue. Nothing a good wash couldn't fix but it was still annoying.
"I didn't drop it on purpose." She...well...lied. She was jealous that Junko was giving everyone else so much attention and pretty much ignoring Her, so She had to give her a punishment somehow. Junko didn't believe Her, but she didn't say anything about it just yet. Instead she continued down the hall, picking candy out of her hair. Hopefully Her behavior would improve after some classes. One of the candy pieces decided it didn't want to come off her finger, however, and Junko executed desperate measures to get it off; she started flinging her hand vigorously just get the thing off! This one she didn't care where it went, she just wanted it gone. Eventually it did fling off her fingers and she made a little sound of victory until she saw where it was headed. Oh no!
"Look out!" She called in warning to the ghoul walking out of the library.

Kasumi was hardly paying attention until some sticky projectile came rocketing towards her face. Blinking , she turned to face the person yelling a warning and was promptly struck on the forehead. She didn't drop her books (thankfully), but she did real in surprise when something stuck itself to her forehead. She crossed her eyes to stare at it in confusion. Curiously, she lifted a free hand to poke at it. Looked like candy, from what she could see, and she tried plucking it off to no avail. Frowning, Kasumi then saw the nice young lady with...
...is that a KIMONO?
Kasumi nearly swooned at the girl's elite fashion sense.
"I do believe this is yours?" she asked, ready to phase out and dislodge the candy from her ectoplasmic skull. "It's alright though, don't worry. I can get it off easily anyway. I don't believe we've met. I'm Kasumi!" She gave the girl a very distinct Asian bow, as they appeared to be both from the same culture. At last, someone who understood the kimono! "Are you new around here?"
By Jack she wanted a kimono like that someday.

When the candy planted itself against the poor soul's forehead Junko gasped and hurried over to her to make sure she was alright, her sticky fingers pressed to her lips as she gazed upon the candy along with Kasumi, only with worry instead of confusion. Would she be alright? It was just a candy but it'd slapped her forehead so hard! A-and she was worried this ghoul would think her terribly rude and think she'd purposely thrown the sticky candy at her! She really hadn't! Honest! She frowned and gave a little nod at the question. "I'm sorry! I was trying to get it off my fingers and it just kind of flew! I'm so sorry!" But the ghoul didn't seem mad. That was good. That was very good. And...she was even introducing herself and saying it was okay and not to worry! Oh thank goodness!
Junko actually smiled when she saw the bow, happily giving one in return. She made a sound of displeasure at the quick and sudden change in altitude and the movements jerking Her around, but Junko paid Her no mind. "I'm Junko! It's very nice to meet you, I'm really sorry about the candy thing." She blushed a little at Kasumi's question and smiled sheepishly, scratching at her cheek a bit and nodding her head. "I am...is it obvious?" Junko asked with a soft chuckle, looking Kasumi over curiously. Aside from her forehead she didn't really know who she was talking to. Her gaze lingered on her long, gorgeous hair. It. Was. So. Pretty! Ooooh! Junko wanted to touch it! But her fingers were sticky, and she very well didn't appreciate random strangers touching her hair without permission there was no way she could just reach and grab Kasumi's without asking! But it was very obvious she was admiring the ghoul's hair, hugging the bag of candy to her chest. Ugh, She wanted to just gag.

Kasumi waved away the young lady's apologies. It wasn't like she couldn't just fade a little bit and dislodge the candy, and it didn't get stuck in her hair, so it wasn't a big deal. "Oh don't worry about it. I'm a ghost. Things getting stuck on me are the least of my worries. Would you like it back, or can I phase it off?" If the girl wanted the candy back, Kasumi didn't dare let it touch the floor. Who knew what's been on the floor, really. Even getting candy plastered to one's face was a good way to meet new people, which Kasumi didn't mind at all. She felt a connection to Junko, like she had found someone very similar to herself.
The ghost would have blushed if she could, but while Junko was staring at Kasumi's hair, Kasumi was admiring Junko's clothing. "I have to know where you got your lovely outfit. You see, I don't have much to my name. When you die, you kind of... come here without so much as packing anything." The ghost frowned. She was trying to collect as many new pieces as possible, but the school photo she took featured the only thing she had at the time - a hospital gown. "Is there a store nearby that carries something like that? It's so adorable and fits you so well! And you've got the shoes and everything!"
Kasumi would die if she wasn't dead already!

Oh...a ghost. She didn't realize this girl was a ghost, she couldn't tell what she was really but for all she knew maybe undead? Or even a monster! Just look at Junko, would one really guess she was a monster? Lilura had thought she was a reaper! Junko shook her head when asked if she wanted it back, picking at a bit of her hair. "No, no...it's okay. I'm throwing all these candies away anyway, She dropped them and they all got in my hair." Junko sighed, her eyes still on Kasumi's hair. So pretty. If her fingers weren't so sticky Junko would really want to touch it right now. It looked so soft! Was it soft? What did she do to take care of it?
Her outfit? Wow! That seemed to be the first thing almost everyone asked! Junko listened with sincere interest to Kasumi's woes, frowning sympathetically. Wow, she couldn't imagine what it must be like to die...a-at least Kasumi was able to come back? Her and so many undead and ghost students. And the residents of Halloween. All very lucky indeed! But she found it interesting everyone always asked where she got her clothes from, she was beginning to feel like a broken record! "I bought the skirt at the maul...altered it a little, and the stockings...but I made the kimono myself. Would you like me to make one for you?" She was already planning to make one for Lilura as well, but she'd be more than happy to make something for Kasumi! Especially since it seemed this poor girl didn't have very much in the way of clothing. Junko would be so sad if she had to spend her days in a hospital gown.
"Ugh, again, Junko? Are you just going to dress the whole school like you?" She scoffed, reaching down to take the bag of candies from Junko. The ghoul sighed and let her take it, letting Her take the bag. She went ahead and just poured the entire bag messily into Her mouth, trying to catch whatever she could. Ugh. So messy. Junko was going to have to wash her hair so many times tonight.
"I-I'm sorry. Don't mind Her, she's harmless.." Mostly. "I have extra if you'd like a pair! If they fit, that is." Junko looked down at Kasumi's feet and hummed thoughtfully. Would her sandals fit Kasumi? She'd hate to give her a pair that was too big or small, but if she was even impressed about her sandals then Junko would be happy to give her a pair!

At Junko's insistence, Kasumi walked to the nearby trashcan, phased, and let the candy drop harmlessly into it. The trashcan chewed it thoughtfully and burped its thanks. Returning to the monster's side, the thought of having a kimono was utterly, ghoulishly fantastic. She didn't meet many, if any, Asian students here at Amityville. Junko was like a long-lost family member at this point. "Would I like a kimono? I'd LOVE one! You have no idea how much I've been trying to find one!" Any thoughts about who the 'she' was that Junko was referring to went out the window at the mention of having her very own kimono! Kasumi could sew, but not on a large enough scale to cloth herself. Just small trinkets here and there.
When someone else started to speak though, Kasumi became intrigued. "Her? Who is her?" The ghost started to pace a circle around Junko to find who the speaker was. Something in her head, maybe? An invisible something on her shoulder? Junko's hair appeared to move by itself, at least a portion of it, which was fascinating to watch. "And what can I do to make this up to you, Miss Junko? Maybe something I could do for you in exchange for all the work that would go into a kimono? I've never made one myself but I imagine it's a lot of work..."
Finishing her circle, Kasumi went back to standing in front of Junko, admiring how her hair moved the way it did. Could she get her own hair to do that, maybe? Perhaps with practice! All her mane ever wanted to do was sit in front of her face and make Kasumi look a lot creepier than she ever intended to be. "It must be awful to have all that sticky stuff in your hair, Miss Junko... Maybe I could offer some shampoo? My hair gets so unruly sometimes that I find things in it too, but I can phase out of it... Still, it's good to smell nice! Perhaps we could trade? Or I could make you something for your room?"

Junko watched as Kasumi walked away to get rid of the candy, making an impressed little sound when she phased and merely let the candy be thrown away via gravity and a hungry trash can. Wow! That was really neat! She was glad the girl returned to her side, smiling warmly and folding her hands neatly behind her back as she rocked from heel to toe. Ooh, she'd love one? She was hoping she would! "Wow, really? Then it's a very good thing we met! When we get the chance we should go into town and find whatever pattern you like...if you like we can go back to my room and I can get your measurements! A-and we could watch movies or something while I draw up a design?" Junko was slowly learning this whole socialize thing, how to tactfully slip in invitations without looking totally awkward. She was getting better at it and she was so proud of herself for it!
When Kasumi asked who She was Junko opened her mouth to answer, but no words came out if only because she was trying to figure out where Kasumi was going now. Oh...she was going back behind her to see Her. Ehhh..she wasn't so sure if she was comfortable with that. She stayed quiet for the most part and kept Her mouth closed until She was sure the ghost could get a good look at Her. Junko's hair was down making the mouth visible, and suddenly she stuck out Her tongue and blew a loud raspberry at her. Junko gasped and whipped around to turn Her away from Kasumi, looking both scandalized and apologetic. That was so rude! She didn't expect any less but seriously?! Ugh! "Oi! Turn back around I was just saying hello!" She argued, pushing at Junko's shoulder as if that was enough to turn her.
"I'm so sorry about that! I-I'd say she isn't normally like that but that would be a lie and...oh Jack I'm so sorry!" To be honest she was slightly surprised, because normally all She did was say rude things or try to make Junko look like a fool. She'd never done that to someone before. She tried desperately to turn the subject back to something pleasant, wanting Kasumi to try and forget that. But really, how could someone forget a second mouth in someone's head? Sigh. Exchange? Like, payment? But she didn't need to do that it was Junko who offered up on her own! She really didn't need to do that! Junko turned with Kasumi to stay facing her, wanting to keep them separated.
"You don't have to do that, Kasumi. It's my pleasure to...oh...well...yes, that's true. I think my shampoo should do just fine, but..." Junko glanced at Kasumi's hair again, finding herself admiring her hair and completely forgetting where she was going with this. She was going to say Kasumi's hair looked so nice and so soft, but really it should be obvious by now that Junko liked her hair a lot. It couldn't be anymore obvious if she said it.

Watching Junko rock back and forth, Kasumi smiled. She was so happy that someone else was as excited about kimonos as she was! There weren't many students here familiar with the culture. "I certainly wouldn't mind watching a movie with you, but I don't want to be an inconvenience. I could always show you around campus as thanks, if you'd like!" She hadn't been in anyone else's dorm room, so maybe she could get some ideas about how to decorate hers! Kasumi's dorm needed some serious decorating help, and she needed to do something with that hospital bed. It just wasn't cute enough for her tastes. Maybe a couple of adorable plush toys, a poster or two...
During her rounds about the new student, Kasumi found out first hand who "she" was. A giant raspberry was blown from the back of Junko's head, which made Kasumi giggle. "Why hello, Miss! It's a pleasure to meet you too!" For whatever reason, Kasumi thought She was utterly hilarious and had an excellent sense of humor. "I rather like her, Junko! She's like a roommate, but built in!" Junko must've never gotten lonely, having another being growing from the back of your head. Very convenient too when you needed to make unwelcome leftovers disappear! "Does She have a name? Or perhaps I could just call her Miss?"
Kasumi wanted, above all else, to be polite. If Miss Junko was willing to make her a kimono, the least the ghost could do was pay her back as best she could. "Perhaps we could have a girls' night in and trade hair secrets?" She giggled, wondering what She had to say about all this!

Junko gasped and shook her head at Kasumi's assumption she'd be some kind of burden or something visiting Junko and watching a movie, she reached out to grasp her hands and hold them tight as if that would keep her from leaving. "You wouldn't be an inconvenience at all!" She said quickly, desperately. Please! She wanted company in her room other than Her, because whenever they were by themselves behind closed doors She just got so mean! And she never let her sleep and...it...she...she needed friends! The more friends the better, right? Because if she had friends they could keep her busy and distract Junko from Her constant abuse. Show her around campus? Well...that was really nice of her! But Junko had already explored enough on her own. She gave it some serious thought though, looking around where they were. No, she'd be fine without a tour. Junko turned back to Kasumi with a smile, shaking her head. "That's alright, but I think I'm able to find my way around now. I've had a lot of time to go wandering around."
Junko was so worried now though. Would Kasumi be insulted and run away? Would She have chased off a potential friend? Somehow Junko had gotten lucky with Daisuke, she had a feeling it was because of the food she'd found to feed Her with, but now She had just--oh...she...she was giggling? Junko frowned a little and closed her eyes, her heart sinking to her stomach. Kasumi was giggling. Great, just great. She thought it was funny Junko had a mouth in the back of her head and was going to laugh at her. She was bound to meet a person like this sooner or la--what? A...pleasure?! Junko and She were both shocked to hear that Kasumi liked Her, evidence enough by the look of awed surprise on Junko's face. "You...you like Her?" She asked in disbelief, but it was clear there was some awe there. Someone liked Her! Someone liked Her! So if they liked Her they'd most certainly like Junko, right?! They could be friends! Very, very good friend! Oh, she wa so happy she could cry! Junko clasped her hands together and squealed with delight, a little too excited to answer Kasumi's question about Her. But She wasn't.
"I am the Mistress. You may call me as such. Miss seems so...informal." She said with a wave of her 'hand', though really it was a section of Junko's hair. She was pulled from her squee fit by Her voice, her eyes opening wide and glancing back toward Her. Good, She was using her manners. Maybe Junko would give her a treat for that. But now Kasumi was offering her something new. Offering something that sounded absolutely wonderful.
A girls' night?! Junko gasped, nodding her head vigorously. "I'd love that! Your hair is so pretty too!" She groaned, rubbing at sides of Junko's head as if rubbing Her own temples.
"You've got to be kidding me, I have to hear this all night?" No way! No Jacking way! Ugh! Junko gleefully ignored Her.

Kasumi was rather shocked and saddened that she could have caused Junko to whirl through so many emotions, but in the end, she was very happy that the monster girl was delighted in the end. Truthfully, Kasumi really did think the mouth in the back of Junko's head was quite interesting. She'd never met a futakuchi-onna before and Junko was a sweetheart. Since the other student had plenty of time to wander around the school and get to know the placement of everything, Kasumi brushed off her offer. "Movie it is, then! I hear talk of movies involving our kind in the human world, but it's just rumors. I don't remember anything from it to be honest, but... I do hope they do us some justice. I have a lingering feeling most of the work of people is cheesy." She absently tapped her chin. Something about movies and strings you weren't supposed to see or something. It was all very fuzzy.
Dismissing it with a wave of her hand, Kasumi nodded vigorously at Junko's disbelief. "In a way, Mistress is someone you can always talk to! And think of it this way - at least she's female. You don't have some pervert growing from the back of your skull. How uncomfortable would that be? Horrifying!" Junko seemed slightly off-put by the mouth in the back of her head, so the ghost attempted to lighten the mood and change the subject. She tittered at the compliment to her unruly mane. "Why thank you! I do owe it mostly to my being, well, incorporeal. It helps that nothing really sticks to me, you know? Don't really have to bother with eating or washing unless I feel nostalgic."
Tilting her head, she almost forgot to ask. "What's your favorite kind of movie, Junko? Do you have a particular one you'd like to watch? I don't have much in the way of possessions, but I hear you can check things out from the library if needed?"

The tidbit about movies watching movies about them perked her interest, tilting her head a bit. Even...futakuchi-onna? They had movies about her kind? She nodded in agreement to the humans doing them justice. "I hope so too! I've never been to the human world, so I've never seen any of their movies or anything..." She didn't even really know what the human world was like! Just that the humans there were what kept them alive by being afraid of them or something like that. It made her curious!
However, despite Kasumi's clear dismissal toward Junko's disbelief, she still couldn't help but feel a little skeptical. Junko's eyes turned toward Her for a moment. "I...guess...but She's not really someone I can--o-o-h, I suppose that's true. But even She has Her moments. She makes very crude comments sometimes." But only sometimes. Every other time was just annoying. Junko supposed Kasumi had a good point though, but she still wasn't quite sure she could see the good in having Her around. It wasn't as if she could ever get rid of Her, though on really bad days she did sometimes wonder if there was some way she could and if she could she probably would, but it would be nice to learn some kind of control over her. Hitting, scolding, punishing and putting up her hair only did so much! And after some time that wasn't going to work anymore. Sigh.
The subject turning back to hair and movies did cheer her up at the very least. Junko smiled again. "You're very lucky! If I could do that I'm sure my life would be ten times easier." She laughed, patting at her stomach. She didn't need to eat thanks to the FEAR here, but she did like to...but whenever she tried She would steal most if not all of the food from her! She paused a moment at the inquiry about her favorite kind of movie, blinking. Uhhh...what...was her favorite? She didn't watch many movies! "I suppose...something...funny?" Or romantic? Or scary? Or sad? Nono, sad movies were bad. She'd just go with funny for now. Everyone liked funny, right? Junko blushed a little and rubbed at the back of her neck, smiling nervously now. "Haha, I'm sorry! I've never watched a movie with a friend before. Do you like funny movies?"

Junko was so cute! Kasumi definitely liked her and was so glad she could find someone else she had a culture in common with. It brought back a very hazy feeling of home, for what it was worth. The ghost tapped her chin in thought at the question of her favorite movie. Her face crunched in pondering this before she finally shrugged. "I'm up for anything, so shall we go to the library or something to see what's available? I don't have any movies myself." She really didn't have much of anything! One day, she'd have to venture to the Maul once she'd acquired enough money.
As they walked, Kasumi wondered about the monster and her Mistress' relationship, since Junko seemed intimidated by Her. "I suppose... you have to look on the bright side, you know? I think your Mistress is quite funny. Perhaps it's just her sense of humor?" Leaning in, Kasumi thought of something that might aid Miss Junko in putting her Mistress in Her rightful place if she got out of hand. The ghoul whispered, "Maybe cotton balls or the like for unruly times?" Of course, She could probably hear Kasumi, but it was all in good fun. The ghost dismissed the whole thing with a good-natured wave.
On the topic of the human world, Kasumi shook her head. "All I know is that I didn't like it much, so I don't think we're really missing out on anything..."

Junko didn't exactly own much in the way of movies either. It wasn't that her family didn't have the money for them or couldn't afford them, just her father was incredibly cheap. Why buy movies when you can record them later on the skelevision for free? She smiled, nodding her head to Kasumi's suggestion. "Alright, that sounds like a good idea. So we'll just do it on the way then?" She chirped, already starting to walk and lead Kasumi to the library. Hopefully they had good movies to choose from! Though Junko might be using the movie as background noise while she chatters and designs, but she'd do her best to pay as much attention to the movie as possible!
Mistress was...funny? The mouth seemed to puff with pride at the compliment, pinching Junko's cheek. "See, Junko? I, your Mistress, am a riot! A hoot! You need to lighten up." But Junko didn't seem to agree still. What was so funny about getting her hair sticky? Or berating her? Or insulting her? Or putting her down or...or...any of the things She did and said?! Junko blinked and stared curiously at Kasumi as she leaned in and whispered a possible threat for Her, turning her eyes back in that direction and furrowing her brow. Cotton balls? As in, put them in Her mouth? Perhaps...that could work, maybe! But then She'd just spit them out or swallow them and start complaining even more. She was almost scared to do it! What it it angered Her? Though She'd probably need a drink after having cotton balls in Her mouth! That wasn't so bad. Maybe it wasn't such a bad idea after all! "Don't give her any ideas, you." She said suspiciously to the ghoul, wishing She could show expression aside from the unhappy curl of Her lips.
"Oh...well then I suppose that's not so bad." She'd never been to the human world before, which wasn't surprising, so she'd just take Kasumi's word for it. "At least you're here now and away from the humans!" She chirped, smiling at her new friend.

Kasumi nodded and definitely agreed that it was better now that she was away from the humans. The human world, from what little she remembered, was not a happy or friendly place in the slightest. "Let's find something funny to watch, you know? Something to lift the spirits, so to speak." Haha, ghost humor. Kasumi giggled as they ascended the steps to the library. Walking past the librarian (a skeleton, oddly enough), the ghost found the movie section and starting to read over the titles "Hmm... I don't recognize many of these... Oh, what about this one, Junko? We might like this."
She held up a video entitled The Naked Ghoul: 33 1/3. It was clearly labeled in the comedy category and had a funny picture of a ghoul looking confused as things explode being him. "This looks halfway decent. Want to try it?" If anything, they could spend time chatting about cute boils at the school or fashion or hair. Or anything, really! Junko was a lot of fun to talk to and it didn't matter much at all to the ghost if they had a movie to watch or not. Kasumi just wanted friends.
To the Mistress, Kasumi laughed pleasantly. "I think you two could learn to get along. I mean, if you think about it, you're kind of fused together, so why not make the best of it? A lot of good could come of it and I think you could mutually benefit?" She tried to be helpful, she really did. "What do you like to talk about, Mistress? I'm sure you have a subject or two you prefer?"
