Sin reached into her purse rifled through campaign buttons and pulled out a tube of lipstick, applied it expertly sans mirror and dropped it back in. She wasn't just at the Maul to shop today, she knew plenty of Academy students hang out at the Maul, which made it ideal for campaigning, subtly of course. She tossed her hair back and continued into Forever 2001, they catered mostly to young vampires but Sin had found some fabulous little black dresses for herself last week. It was surprising she hadn't worn down the strip on her MonsterCard with how often she had been shopping lately. Her most consistent purchase was for new undergarments, thanks to her two pesky Unmentionables, the little beasts stole her panties every chance they got. Sin was a little worried about where exactly they were stashing her panties, she had yet to find a single pair.
Ah well no use fretting about it now, she wasn't likely to find them anytime soon. She perked up from looking at a deliciously dark top and smiled when she spotted a familiar figure. She folded the top back up and set it down walking towards the witch. Then she stopped uncertainly, what was she doing? It wasn't like Coralie was her friend, she couldn't just go around starting random conversations with people...even if the witch had seemed nice. It was the distinctive and amusing hat that had first made Sin look at the witch. Witches always made Sin a tad jumpy, thanks to her mothers bedtime horror stories. Hmmm, well now she looked foolish just standing there as if she were lost. Why was this making friends thing so hard?

This store really wasn't Coralie's style. It wasn't so much that she didn't like the stuff, per say, it was just it seemed the thing you were more likely to find a demoness in or perhaps a vampire than bright orange haired witch. She was in there, actually, just to piss Wilfred off. She had just been shopping around, window shopping, and she had stopped to look at a black lacey dress in the window. Wilfred had immediately started spoutting off his mouth about indecent clothing and how she should never wear it, which had of course prompted her to go into the store and shop anyway.
She hadn't noticed Sin at first as she had been looking for the right size of a black spider lace tank on the table. The reason she saw her was that she had to move to a different pile, one right in front of the demon girl. There was only one shirt in that size and Coralie took it, draping over her arm without shape. She passed Sin a sideways glance and a crooked smile, "Hope you didn't need that one." She wasn't going to give it back, at least, not until she tried it on and gave Wilfred a good scare.

Sin smiled as the other ghoul grabbed the black tank top and then eyed her and the hat. She slowly ran her fingers down a pile of undergarments and pulled out a lacy black thong.
"No I don't mind one bit, but maybe you'll want this too? It matches." She laughed and set the underwear back down before holding out her hand. "I'm Sin, you go to Amityville right? I've seen you in a couple of classes." Well that was casual enough, she didn't want to look desperate for someone to talk to. Except that she was a little, deeply in need of some ghoul friends and all that.
She had to admit she was a tad surprised to see Coralie in this particular shop though. She had seemed so casual not the type to wear something outrageous and risque. Maybe she was trying to change her style, hopefully she wouldn't give up her hat though it was amusing in class.

"Coralie, though Cora's fine," she responded clasping and shaking the demoness's hand briefly. She definitely recognized Sin from class...something told her she was one of the ones usually surrounded by other ghouls and such. Popular, then. Not that it mattered terribly to Coralie, it just just something good to know. It certainly wouldn't cause her to treat Sin any differently.
"And that's not a bad idea," she mused, taking the lacy black thong in one hand. The motion was deliberately slow.
"PUT THAT THANG DOWN YOUNG LADEH!" Bellowed Wilfred in distress. "YA AN'T NO HOOKER NOR CHIPMUNK'S DAUGHTER! WHAT, YOU WANT DEM HORNY DOGS CHEW'N ON YER ARMS?" Yes, Wilfred very much disapproved of this venture. What chipmunks had to do with it, or even dogs for that matter, was a bit of a mystery.
Coralie draped the thong over the tank top (though it was hard to say if she was actually going to put the thing on) and turned to Sin with a bit of a crocked smile. "So, looking for anything in particular? Is there some special occasion for is this just for fun?" She certainly know hers was the later.

Sin had to cover her mouth with her hand but even that couldn't hide the mild laugh she gave. She raised a brow and then tilted her head with a smile for Cora. "I uhh like your hat...it's very...interesting." She grinned and then tossed her hair back.
"Oh just shopping for fun and relaxation, it's be way of de-stressing you know? Plus my unmentionables keep stealing my underthings, I swear their building a nest out of them. If they don't stop soon I might just have to go without."

"Isn't he a charmer?" Coralie tipped the brim of her hat, seeming amused that she liked him. Seeing the reactions of different people to Wilfred was always...interesting. Yes, that included scowls or other odd remarks she received from both students and faculty. She wondered what her elder brother would have thought if the saw it. Probably would have agreed with everything the darn thing said, if not the way he said it. That was, after all, the intention of the thing.
She was about to say that she didn't know, actually, but then she wouldn't really know what to call what she was doing now. She supposed this was just for fun, yes, so then...yes, she had to agree. She nodded her head absently before raising her brows at Sin's second comment. "Oh really? That's troublesome though...I don't think any of the boils in the school would complain if you had to go commando. It'd save you money, too, not that it certainly isn't...money well spent." She picked up another thong absently, this one red, and listened to Wilfred gasp and sputter objections.

"That he is, and so...appropriate, what's his name?" She asked curiously holding back another laugh as the hat sputtered and gasped while Coralie picked up another pair of underwear. Yes Cora seemed like she'd make a good friend, maybe even one she wouldn't always have to worry about impressing.
"I'm sure they wouldn't, and while most of my outfits do have built in undergarments I need at least a few pairs..." She smiled and held up a pair of pink and black with tiny bows that undid at the sides. "This is cute no? Or is orange more your color?" She looked Coralie over again surprised to see her shopping here, she seemed much more active and sporty. Well she shouldn't judge no one would guess by her usual wear that she also owned quite a few outfits that were more gym appropriate.

"His name? I think you're one of the few people who's ever asked. Huh, how about that, eh Wilfred?" She flicked the brim of her hat with a finger, amused. "Though his full name is Wilfred Alabaster Mottingham V. Quiet a mouthful and I don't get to say it very often." In all honesty, his name was a bit of a joke. What better name was there for a crotchety southern speaking hat than one that sounded royal and stuck up complete with a stick up his...hm, well, you get the idea.
"How'd you guess?" Coralie asked with a grin, knowing that if there was any word to describe her appearance orange would probably be one of the first mentioned. "Unfortunately, I don't think they typically cater to my pallet here," she said with a joking dismay. "The bows on that are lovely, though. Especially like the placement." Wilfred began to wiggle to the best of his ability on her head, as if that added with his complaints would make him more effective.
"It seems to be you're color, though, if I have any guess."

"Wilfred! I like it, oh my that is a mouthful, then again he sounds like he can manage more then a mouthful." She tried not to laugh at the desperation of Coralie's hat. He would probably be happier with her shopping for a cute little dress or some loose pants. Nothing tight or revealing lest the...what was it again? Oh yes lest the dogs and chipmunks come out.
"No but it's always fun to explore new colors and styles, I'm sure you'd look great in black, black looks good on everyone." Or at least on everyone she'd seen in it so far. There was just something striking about inky darkness with any tone.
She placed the panties up against herself and gave them a little wriggle. "They are lovely aren't they, I think I'll take them. Thanks, mother always says not to shop alone, you always need someone honest to tell you if something looks good or not. Especially the not part!" She smiled and draped the panties over her arm to keep.

"Sadly, his mouthful is smaller than the one who made him that way," Coralie said with a touch of irony. If Sin thought Wilfred could go on, she should hear her older brother who'd enchanted him. She supposed she was grateful Wilfred was toned down a little. Just a little. And at least his accent made him more fun. It was the most common thing she thanked her sister for, actually.
"Looking for a shopping partner, then?" She asked. Sin seemed pretty relaxed, at least here, and had a good sense of humor so Coralie thought it might be interesting to spend some more time with the ghoul. "I'm afraid Wilfred doesn't give the best advice on whether or not something looks good." Because to him everything looked bad, unless maybe she was dressed in nunnery robes or something, he'd probably approve of that.

"Oh my hard to imagine more then that!" She laughed and then looked at Coralie amused. "Who made him for you?" The question of why seemed pretty obvious, Wilfred seemed like a most excellent protector.
"Of course, I'd love a shopping partner." She'd love a friend, but hey she would progress slowly it seemed. "Don't worry about Wilfred, he can hang out on a hat rack while we find something for your rack." She slowly grinned and tossed her hair back. It was almost hard to tell if Sin was simply so accustomed to flirtation that she was doing it without intending to or not. She rifled through some sets of tops and bottoms until she found a black pair with a little orange pumpkin on them.
"Aha found your color!"

"My eldest brother Paulie," Coralie said, as if that explained it all. Well, older brother should have said something anyway. She wasn't the youngest, but she was young enough that apparently that warranted turning her hat into a noisy guardian. "He's a little less amusing to listen to. He doesn't have the accent to make things fun."
"Sounds like a good idea, actually," She agreed, lifting Wilfred smoothly off her head despite his protests. He was even managing to wiggle a little. She set him down on the nearest rack, commenting with satisfaction, "I doubt anyone would want to buy him anyway. At least, not when they came in here to do some shopping." Maybe if they had been at a hats store or something for novelties....she really should have been more protective of her weapon, but she doubt it would hurt.
Cora raised her brows and smiled appreciatively at the set, "Nice. Now how do you feel about...black and purple zebra stripes?" She rifled through the rack nearest her to what had caught her eye, "You don't strike me as a giraffe spot sot of ghoul."
