Tsura let out a yawn way too big for her miniature size. Tiny needle claws dug into the earth as she stretched - just the way she saw her dad do it just the day before. She slid to her haunches, letting her exceptionally fluffy tail sway behind she gazed out of the den.
The sun was just beginning to spread its warmth across the entire sky. Tsura wondered why the sun made the stars disappear. Maybe they only liked the cold? Tsura nodded to herself as she continued to daydream. She could understand that. The heat made her skin prickle... But sometimes it was a good thing to be warm.
Right now she was missing the warmth of her father. Oh where was he? Tsura left her sister's side and padded to the edge of the den and peered out. He usually wasn't too far away. Any moment now he would appear and tell her how wonderful she is.

Dysi had stepped out of the den for a little while, just to stretch his legs or else he would just sleep the day away with his daughters! He was too old for sleep ins like that, he decided and chuckled a little to himself.
He had gone for a stroll, just around near the den, and was on his way back when he caught sight of a familiar little ball of fluff. His expression quickly lit up at the sight of his little girl. He loved spending time with his cubs, his little girls were so important to him.
"What are you doing up, darling?" Dysi asked, moving over and nuzzling her affectionately. "All finished sleeping?"

Tsura quickly spotted Dysi's white form against the ocean of grass and earth. A smile instantaneously appeared on her face as she jumped to her paws and wiggled like an excited puppy as she waited for his arrival.
The little cub took the opportunity to embrace her dad's face as he moved to nuzzle her. "I was watching the sun rise and it made me think about the stars and then it made me think about you and I wondered where you went." The explanation didn't take any more than a single breath. Tsura let out a chuckle, aslo much too big for her miniature form. "But I found you!" She licked Dysi's forehead, slowly sliding off his face from the embrace and swiping an ear in the process.
"What are we gunna do today, dad?" She glanced back within the darkness of the den, and then smirked as she returned her attention to her father's pink gaze. "Vailea is still sleeping. We can go without her today."

Dysi beamed down at his daughter at her embrace. Oh, how he loved being a daddy, and his daughters were just...perfect. "I went for a walk to stretch my legs, I'd never go far from you and your sister," he assured her, he licked her forehead as well before she had slipped off.
He hesitated at the idea of leaving Vailea, but she was still sleeping and Tsura was obviously awake and ready to do something fun. He smiled at her. "We can go down to the river," he told her, "since it's not too far from the den if Vailea wakes up and wants to come too." He wouldn't want to leave out one of his daughters, not ever. He wanted their family to be big and inclusive but he had no problem with spending one on one time with his daughters individually too.
He nuzzled her, and encouraged her to start moving towards the river.

Tsura giggled, finding her father's tongue ticklish for a reason unknown to her. The laughter continued even after she slipped from her father's embrace, as if there was an invisible force poking into her ribs. Though the hybrid cub was careful not be too loud. She didn't want to risk waking her sister... and have her tag along and totally ruin her precious father-daughter alone time.
"Okay!" She cringed, glancing at Vailea with wide-eyes. That was too loud - Vailea could stir at any moment. Gotta get out of here quick! "Okay." She corrected her tone and beamed up at her father. I'll race you there."
Ending her silent tone, Tsura raced out into the open. She was particularly graceful for her age. Probably a special tribute thanks to her unique genetics. Tsura had no difficulties leaping, dodging and swerving to avoid any obstacles as she darted towards the river.

Dysi enjoyed hearing his daughter giggle and be happy, but he too glanced over at his still slumbering young, grateful that Tsura had not awoken her. Not for the same reasons as the younger cub, but rather because he knew Vailea needed some sleep, despite the fact Tsura was up and bouncing - ready to play.
He laughed alittle to himeslf as his daughter bound off towards the river - he too was careful to keep his voice low, so as not to disturb his little girl - and followed his little princess towards the river. He was far slower than her, though he was not slow by nature but he simply didn't feel like running.
Reaching the river not long after her, he grinned at her and nuzzled her. "You're getting so fast!" He praised her lovingly, before stepping closer to the river, and playfully splashing her. It was only a little water, and would do no damage to her, since he would clean her afterwards but still, he watched to see how she would react to this new game.

As Tsura came closer to the stream, her tiny paws pulled a prank on her. When she asked them to stop - they didn't, allowing her to plow straight into the water with a loud splash. Seeming quite pleased with the accident, the young leotah emerged from the water soaked in mud, water, and various green plant-like-gooey-objects.
Tsura returned her father's grin. "Heh... A little too fast, huh daddy?" The cub pranced in a circle around Dysi, careful not to splash him with grime. She knew just how much he didn't like that. "Are you gunna catch a fish, dad? A really big one, bigger than me?"

Dysi panicked as his daughter hit the water, but as she emerged, looking undaunted by the mess that covered her fur, he shook his head in amusement. His daughters were all so unique, and so fascinating to watch grow. He would be curious to see how she evolved as she grew up, her personality changing. He was smiling, lost in thought of how his babies would grow, that he almost missed his daughter's question.
He looked down at her as she pranced and chuckled. "A fish? Bigger than you? Well, I suppose we could give it a try," he winked at her, and moved into the stream. They might find a few small fish, but Dysi wasn't sure there was any large ones in there, so that might be a fruitless venture, but he would spend time with his daughter anyway.
"Remeber, be quiet while we fish, and move slooowly," he reminded her gently, and grinned at her.

Tsura paused in her circular romp to stare at her father, who seemed to be day dreaming. She was tempted to poke him back into reality, but he instantly cured himself and answered her question. Tsura grinned and wiggled with excitement as she moved after him.
"Yay!" Tsura's young excitement decided to verbalize itself loudly, but Dysi's reminder quickly hushed her. "Oh... Right. Quiet and slow. I dunno if I can be slow, dad!" But she gave it a try anyway, carefully stepping into the stream.
The current's tug was strong, and for a moment the young feline thought she might be swept away. But that couldn't happen, at least not while Dad was here to prevent it. "Can we eat the fish after you catch it? I think Vail might want some too." Offering her older sister a portion of their prize? Tsura might be having second thoughts about leaving her behind.

"You can do anything you put your mind to, sweetie," Dysi said, winking at her. It was such a father-thing to say that he almost cringed at the words, but they were true. She was clever enough to do whatever she liked.
He was scanning the water, moving slowly while trying to catch sight of any shadows under the water. He could see a few small ones. Dysi loved to fish, it was one of his favourite ways to hunt. It required a different level of skills than land-hunting and water was quite fun to him, so he didn't mind.
"If we catch something, of course we can take it back to the den to eat," he told her, smiling warmly at her, pleased that she was encorperating her sister in their plans. "We certainly won't be letting it go, if we can prevent it!"
His gaze flicked back to the water, trying to spot the shadows again. "Come here, Tsura," he encouraged, wanting to show her the shadows. Perhaps she could try her hand at catching her own fish, he mused to himself, waiting for her to reach his side before carefully motioning to the shadows beneath the stream.

Dysi's encouraging words swelled in her head as her smile sparked with a more significant pleasure than the childish one she usually expresses. The moment was gone in an instant though as the cub followed Dysi deeper still into the stream. She followed his gaze to the little wriggling shadows just beneath the surface. Tsura had seen her dad do this a few times before. He made it look easy. She wondered... Could she do it too?
Tsura grinned at Dysi before concentrating on the wriggling minnows. She was submerged in the water up to her underbelly, but she wouldn't let the strength of the current destroy this perfect moment. "I'm gunna get you, little fishies." Tsura whispered, remembering for once to be quiet. "Better watch out, 'cause I can do anything and imma getchu..."
The cub lifted her paw, frowning as the minimal movement made the tiny fish scatter. The long pause to wait for them to return frustrated the cub, and it was obvious by the discontent grunts coming from her little body. Finally she set her sights on a particularly shiny fish.
Now swat at it, just like daddy does. Tsura coached herself, taking aim and lunging her paw into the water. With all of her years of inexperience, the cub toppled into the water, only managing to scare the fish. Tsura would not let them slide so easily, scrambling after their gleaming forms, making a big splashing ruckus in the process. After a long struggle, Tsura finally flailed onto the bank.
"I got one! I GOT ONE!" Whether she actually caught a fish or not was up for debate, but Tsura seemed certain she had as she darted back to the den where her sister was still sleeping. "VAIL! I caught a fish all by myself! You shoulda seen it!"
When she arrived, she would wonder where the fish had gone to. It wasn't hooked into her claw where she left it... Maybe she'd dropped it on the way.
