Sin had casually picked up the clipboard to check out who else had signed it. She had to struggle very very hard not to crack the thing right over her knee. WHAT Did that little green monster think she was doing running for Vice President? It wasn't fair! It just wasn't fair! She eyed the clipboard again trying to mask her enraged features, she managed to smooth her lips back into a slow smile. She didn't know who this Erebus fellow was, but he had the audacity to run against her as well. Temes, she was the problem, she had something that Sin had no chance of ever ever getting no matter how much she campaigned, the sympathy vote. Everyone loved that little green monster, she inspired somekind of protective instinct in others, heck even Sin had often felt a desire to befriend her...until THIS. This couldn't be tolerated! She had half a mind to scratch her name out, but then bit her lip. Was it better to run and loose or back out of running and look like a coward? She straightened her spine and frowned, she was NOT a coward, and she would find someway to garner votes. She set down the clipboard and turned to stalk down the halls.

Her mind was focused on the task ahead now, she would need posters, buttons, and bri-gifts, that was right campaign gifts. If demon society had taught her anything it was the fine art of running a campaign. Demons were outnumbered by monsters, undead, reapers, and ghosts so she would have to play to the right crowd. What she needed was somekind of angle, she needed to have a cuter sweeter disposition. Who was she kidding everyone knew she was a demon, everyone knew she wasn't some cute pathetic little monster...and everyone loved an underdog. Then she spotted him and slowly her lips curved into a genuine pleased grin.

"G! Oh G!" She walked over her hips swaying slightly in the hypnotic movement of her kind. She gently rested her hand on the large monsters shoulder in a soft tap before stepping back with a smile. "Can I speak with you a minute G?"

This was perfect, the larger monster inspired the same attitude Temes often did. If she could get G behind her then maybe she'd stand a chance. He was a nice guy, big, sweet, hungry, if Sin hadn't been so terrified about her demon reputation she might have tried to be his friend before this. Friends...she almost frowned, because she hadn't quite been able to make any real solid ones just yet. Morrigan and her seemed friendly enough, maybe with time she'd form the type of bonds that came to others so easily. What was wrong with her? Why couldn't she make friends like everyone else? She shoved those thoughts away bruttally and kept her smile in place. She had a job to do.

The excitement in the air was almost tangible. Gargantuan couldn't help but try to peak in when his friends were setting up their campaign booths-he had to set his up, too! The only problem was that he wasn't exactly sure where to begin, and the swamp beast had puttered long and hard over a potential solution.

He'd been mulling in the hallways, a big finger pressed to his lower lip even as he frowned unhappily. What could he do to make people come vote for G? Surely there had to be something that people liked! He could feel an idea starting to itch in his mind, but before it could come to fruition, the sound of his name made him start.

Oh! Oh, it was the girl from class, the one who...walked funny. She was doing the funny-walk again, and the swamp beast found himself staring again, a little bewildered. "Hiii Siiiiin." The tap managed to snap him out of his daze, and his tail wagged slightly.

She wanted to talk to him? "Okaaaay." The placid beast agreed readily, pausing for a moment. "Like booths." His head swung away from her for a moment to eye the booths wistfully. Chuppi was running, he knew that much! And so was Nuk, and Rain, and lots of other friends!

"Hi G!" She gave him her best dazzling smile and prepared to show an amount of patience she had rarely been forced to exhibit. She led him a little ways away not wanting anyone to overhear or try and sway the large monster away from her. No this was something that required careful phrasing without contradiction. "I like the booths too! I'm running for Vice President you know? Except..." She lowered her voice a bit and tried to sound forlorn.

"Except of course...I don't have any campaign partners...I don't have any teammates...any...friends." She said the last word with a half mewling noise coming from her throat and her eyes actually misted over a bit. Alright so maybe she was playing it up a bit, but that Chuppi was probably going to cry if no one voted for her, so what if she used a few misty eyed moments to get herself a fighting chance. G was the perfect campaign team-mate, a demon and a monster pair? It was like something from Rain's impassioned speech about breaking down the barriers and making them all equal. Yeah...well it was a nice idea, but in practice it might be a little harder then Rain thought. Still if Sin could show that she was willing to be THAT demon, willing to work with monsters, ghosts, and undead...well then she stood a chance.

Oh! The beast didn't hesitate to return the smile, though it was considerably less beautiful than Sin's. She was running for a position too? Hooray! That made lots of people that G knew running and campaigning and doing smart things! He felt very intelligent indeed to be apart of such a thing.

Then Sin said something that made him sad.

The monster paused uncertainly at the strange sound the demon made, awkwardly reaching out with his hand to very gently pat her on the head. No... no friends? "G be Sin's friend!" He assured her hurriedly, looking truly unhappy that she was so upset. No one should have to not have any friends! "G help Sin, Sin shouldn't cry..." Oh, oh, oh, what could he do?

Sin was doing pretty well, she didn't even cringe when G reached out and patted her on the head like somekind of dog. In fact she took the chance to hug G and then looked up at him hopefully. She gave a little sniff and then a weak half smile.

"Y-you will? You'll be my friend and...and campaign with me?" Her eyes seemed to widen a bit and she squeezed G a bit more with her hug. Was he going to agree? Would she be able to run a dual campaign with G the large lovable monster? Oh she sure hoped so, she really needed the edge, that thing that would prove to others she was open minded.

Of course he would be her friend! The big beast nodded emphatically at that, but the mention of campaigning made his face fall a little. "G dunno how. G never tried dis before..." He was definitely looking forlorn. How was he going to help her if she needed to win?

"Can still be friends though." G said, his tail twitching uncertainly. "G try hard. Promise." And he would! ...Try, anyway.
