The sky over the football field shone a calm blue, barely a trace of a cloud to be seen. Any athletes on the field or on-lookers would likely think iit was the perfect day to be outside. However, it wasn't the sky that they should have been paying attention to. Gently at first, the ground began to shake and a student here or there stood to get a better look at the field. The tremors became more intense as the seconds ticked by and soon light fixtures were being shaken from their mounts and clattered to the concrete. By now, most students were fleeing and jumping from the bleachers in fear of an earthquake. Just in time too, a section of seats suddenly plummeted as it collapsed from the trauma.
As the teens scattered, a mound began to raise in the center of the field. The earth cracked and the field split apart to emit a slithering monstrosity. A giant purple worm arched out of the ground. There were no eyes to been seen but the mouth was terrifying. A large ring of teeth sat in an 'o' shaped mouth. It could easily fit five students standing up at a time. From its 'face' it plumped up to a thick leathery hide. It's full length was unknown as it was still partially buried in the ground. It's head swiveled around looking for prey, sensing the students through the vibrations in the ground and without a moments hesitation, the great maw descended through a set of bleachers to ingest the girl who had been hiding underneath.

 Lite was in the area watching the football players practice when he noticed what was going on, Lite quickly saw who it was aiming for and he took action, he dashed for the girls and swiped them up and ran out of the way of the worms mouth, he drop the girls and demanded them to escape. Lite turned back to the large beast "and what the hell are you" Lite seemed to ask the worm thing. he drew his blade that hung behind his waist. it was a short blade with demonic features.

Maiara, having left the ice rink was quickly taken by surprise by the enormous beast of a worm. A bit ashamed she hadn't smelled the worm before it emerged, she felt all of her hairs stand on end as the purple beast attacked and the ground trembled. Her lips curling back in her instinctive growl, she noticed the man with an intricately designed, obviously special, sword. It was apparent he thought he was powerful enough to take this thing and Maiara wasn't one to back down from a fight. Great spirits, what is this thing? Maiara, perhaps...? Maiara felt even Wayru getting nervous, his fox instincts stirring within her. He wanted her to hide and assess the situation, but after seeing the destruction this thing caused already, she decided to ready an arrow to her bow and join the man, from a safe distance, feeling it might be safer to join with him.
As she drew near, she was able to detect his scent, it had a strange odor about it, making her keep the ample distance between him and herself constant. Maiara watched him, trying to figure out if he had any sort of plan and she decided to yell out, just so he wouldn't think she was allied with the worm, "What is this beast?"

Carina Rose Rayne  Carina wasn't exactly sure what brought her to the track and the football field , she just had the odd feeling that she should go and so she did. Oce she got there however, she quickly regretted it. "What is that thing?" she said to herself in reference to the giant worm, bugs were never a favorite of hers. Well at least it was a nice shade of purple. Her gaze shifted from the worm to two others that appeared to be challenging the creature.

 Allistar stepped into the field and saw a worm. A giant worm. What the hell...? She grabbed a thread of wind,and listened to the words that had been spoken. Weeeell,time for you come down. She launched into action and threw a handful of wind at the beast.

Maiara turned around, seeing two other students approach. They both looked just as surprised as she felt, so she assumed this wasn't a normal occurance at this school, nor some sort of estranged pet. She watched the girl summon wind to attack the beast and without missing the chance, Maiara carefully aimed and launched several arrows into the wind, hoping it would enhance their speed as they headed towards the giant worm.

Zack Strife  Zack, who had heard the announcement about the beast in foorball stadion headed imiadetly that way. He thought that maybe others that were fighting against it were in need of help. That and he was damn bored and interested about this beasts origins. He arrives quickly to studion and then makes a simple spell that allows him to jump much higher than he would otherwise. Things he learned in previous years in this school. He jumps really high as hes close to stadion and shoots four times in air towards that great beast with hes magical bow. All four magic arrows hits near beast's head, but don't do almost any real damage. He lands softly near two girls who also were fighitng against it. "Damn this is big and tough.. What the hell is it?" Hes bow disappeared and he began to cast Icy pillar to pierce that beast.

Maiara was still unfamiliar with the wide range of powers the student body had at this school. She watched the new student curiously as he demonstrated some of his powers. She wouldn't mind knowing how he did that with his bow. Trying to figure it out, she momentarily forgot about the raging worm, but it was quickly brought back to her attention when she saw that both her arrows and the arrows of the boy were near worthless. Maybe it had a weak point? "Your guess, good as mine." Maiara stated as she crouched down and shot a few more arrows, trying in various places over its body. None seemed to be a weak point, or perhaps her arrows weren't strong enough. She didn't have nifty powers to help her fight like this. She turned to the girl who casted wind, "You call wind again? I want to try arrows once more." Perhaps teaming up would be best.

Zack Strife
Zack casted hes spell, making spearlike thing from ice that fled at great speed towards that wurm's stomach. Hes aim was bit of since he casted it with haste. Hes ice spear hit its target and froze beast's lower part to ground, but it only slowed it a bit, since once it moved the ice broke to pieces. "And it's strong too.. well thats not too surprising. " He watched as this unknown female studient with bow lanched several arrows, apparently looking its weak point. "Hmm, well maybe we should aim to its mouth. We have some beast in north that can be onlly slayed once they open they're mouth." He said to bow woman as he formed hes bow again, pulling its string as magical arrow formed. He began to take good aim. "I was thinking about shooting it to eyes, but judging its look, it doens't reaaly need its eyes.."

Maiara nodded, "Or it weak under the earth." She took aim as well, her arrow, made from wood, stone and feathers, next to his magic ones. She hoped it would do something, anything. She looked at him again, getting his scent. He was from up north did he say? Perhaps nearby her tribe, although, she never heard of any beast as he described.
She released the taught string of her bow before diving for cover as the purple worm launched some rocks in their direction. "You have earth power too?" Maiara asked him, slightly hopeful. She wasn't quite ready to shift yet, she wasn't even sure if it would help.

Zack launcehd hes bow too before dodging rocks that beast threw. Both arrows flew right into beast's mouth and seemed like it worked somehow since beast growled from pain and went a bit farer. But thats about it.
Zack looked bow woman again. "earth power? Hmm.. Not sure if I understood, but my mother was gifted with power to comunicate with earth. I was only gifted with languages of Ice and Lighting.." He answered. Then first time he saw similarities in marks both had in they're cloths. Thought they were diferent but they had similar styles. Though he was sure she weren't from his country, there were some other contries in north too, where natures magic answered a bit diferently. Or so have Zack heard about wise men of hes clan. But tell me what you have mind." He said, while keeoing eye of beast and aiming it with another arrow.((Hah, just noticed the similarities in our characters when I read your charactes bio..))

Allistar was grateful that the other students were helping. So the boy held lightning and the other girl was talented with a bow. This should be interesting,as well as entertaining. She turned,asking,"Is there any way to combine our powers?" It was times like these that she wished she was stronger. Should have taken that other class. She thought to herself as she prepared more wind,grabbing each breeze as a thread.

Maiara eyes widened, she had heard of his people! True, these people, were far, but it appeared they had some similarities. They bonded with an aspect of nature, while her people bonded with an animal. "My people bond with spirit of animals. Me, fox." Maiara thought briefly for a moment, although it was no time to speak of their tribes, she looked quickly at him again, it was true, his scent smelled of one from up north. She laid down, putting an ear to the earth to try to figure out the movement below. This worm was very, very big. "Your lightning, perhap it reach down into the body below earth?" she asked, thinking of something. She knew lightning sought for the quickest path to the ground. She looked back to the girl with the wind powers. "Your wind can help the arrows."
((They are quite similar in background. Makes things interesting.))

Zack nodded. "Yeah, that may work. But I need some time, since lighting I can cast from my body isn't strong enough, since most of it would go waste to grounds resistance. I need to call Lighting from skies, it has much more power than I could carry in my body for now." He then looks to other girl that were here too. How strong is your wind? can you deflect some rocks that wurm keeps throwing? I cannot move much if im going to ask skies to help." After saying this Zack widened hes arms and looked to skies. Really dark clouds began to gather above the football stadion. ((Yep, indeed.))
