As a reward of sorts for tolerating and somewhat progressing in a week's worth of lessons Carina had agreed to take Purple out somewhere. She'd felt bad about confining and confusing her pet friend. It wasn't exactly the nutbar's fault that his species was just well dumb as posts mostly and ravenous. On the other hand he hadn't shown much restraint and had been getting into trouble in search of food and fun so some attempt at civilizing him had to be made. Thus far the lessons weren't going well but they weren't going horribly either.

Carina trailed after the floating nutbar, allowing him to lead them wherever he wanted around the arts and crafts fair. Something was bound to interest him eventually, after all there was plenty to see and do. The redhead might have gone about the fair in a more organized manner herself but today she had to be mature and keep her promise. Today was about rewarding Purple.

Purple paused in midair to stare at the strange sights of the big dancing chipmunks. What were those? He had never seen anything like that before and the nutbar's single eye went even wider in shock. He was going to hug them and lick them and ask where they had come from!

It was only chance that the smokey grey being's attention was then re-directed at another unsuspecting victim. As he floated closer to the strange dancers Purple spotted .. well he wasn't sure what it was but it interested him greatly. All previous personal space training forgotten he zipped through the fair until he was face to face with the blue haired boy.

"OhhiwhoareyoucanIdrinkyou?" The words were the typical run on mess of his kind but there was even more excitement speeding them up than normal. This person could be edible, they even came with a straw!

Purple continued to stared unblinking at the cow boy a bit annoyed that it refused to answer him. Was he allowed to drink from the straw or not?

A moment later Carina caught up to her errant pet and shot the odd looking boy he was harassing an apologetic look. It figured she'd take Purple out for a reward and he'd go crazy. With a sigh the redhead reached up to grab the hypnodisk that the Nutbar wore on a chain around his neck, tugging on it lightly to pull him away from the truck. " What did I say about running away?"

Carina paused at the sound of a child's voice and turned to look over her shoulder at it's source. The young curio was happy at least the strange looking boy was responding to Purple with curiosity and not anger. " Are you talking about this?" She asked holding up the hypnodisk and yanking purple upwards a little as she did so. Carina felt a bit of regret at being so rough when the nutbar gave a grunt and whine before floating higher into the air.

"CanIdrinkyouyoulooktasty?" Now that the straw boy was outside where he could maybe almost reach him Purple was once again interested in seeing if he could taste the inside of the child. Irrepressible he was, even nursing the slight soreness being yanked around just moments ago had caused.

Purple did not want to get hurt just for a treat and he especially did not want ouchies if he wasn't even allowed to taste what was inside the boy. The Nutbar closed his single eye and began to hum softly trying to think of a way to make this sad situation good again, distracted by the process of actually attempting deep though Purple missed the question the horned boy asked about him.

"Thank you," Carina replied with a small smile,"I work hard to keep my hair nice." it wasn't easy but it was important to the curio that she always looks presentable. Then the redhead gestured towards purple who was.. well being weird as normal. " Purple is pretty safe yes, he slobbers a lot but he doesn't generally bite unless you scare or upset him on purpose." Carina didn't think Purple even knew the concept of motive or real hatred or anger.
