Another night another party, but this time Evari had decided she wouldn't go home with anyone. She'd just go home. Why not? She didn't have to go home with a girl every night. She sang quietly to herself surprisingly sober since she hadn't had a single drink tonight. Didn't feel like it! It'd been a fun party and all but...eh...she just wasn't in the mood for a party. So instead she decided to just head home, glowing at her usual brightness for once. She was in a surprisingly good mood! Must've been the atmosphere of the party.
Hmmm...the shortest way home was if she took the shortcut past the cemetery. Thing is the cemetery creeped her out, she heard things...groans...you shouldn't hear sounds in a cemetery except maybe birds and crows. Groans? Who the hell would have sex in a cemetery? Freaks. Must have been zombies or something. Ha! But whoever heard of real zombies? Those didn't actually exist. That would just be stupid. But she continued on, walking toward the cemetery so she could get home sooner rather than later. Eventually she got to the street across from it, frowning and biting her lip. It was dark, almost pitch dark. And it was October. And it was creepy. Geeze. Not cool, dude. Why did it have to be a cemetery? It was like the setup for some cheesy horror flick.
Siiiiiiigh. Evari reached into her pocket and checked the time on her phone, putting it back after but not before turning on some music and turning the volume up so she could hear it from her pocket.
"Listen to yourself you're a hot mess. St-t-tutter through your words breaking a sweat. What's it gonna take to confess what we both know~?" She sang to herself, trying to fill the silence with noise as she crossed the street to walk alongside the cemetery, going at a quick and steady pace to get by there as quickly as possible. Homehomehome now please.

She'd been playing near the gates of the cemetery on her own - unless you counted Robbie. Cheryl was mostly distracted quietly murmuring things to her silent companion and listening to what he supposedly said in return. The two were planning on going back to see if Daddy or someone would make them a snack because they were getting hungry and right when she got up and peered around something glowing caught her attention.
For the most part she had been a good girl not wandering after anymore light since that event with the lady but now she couldn't help it because unlike most other light-like sources this one was moving and apparently singing, she could hear it. Hugging Robbie she started to wander after it creeping along behind the gate as the light source moved. She wasn't exactly graceful because she stumbled and fell a few times.
After a few moments of following she decided she wanted a closer look and see if she could get the apparently glowing lady she vaguely remembered to stay still so she could get a better look. So she moved to a wider space of gate and tried to wiggle through in between after she had set Robbie down but got stuck. She wiggled and squirmed and whined as the gate wiggled about with her movements.
"Heeeeeeelp. Daddy? Harry? Someoneeee heeellllp. Robbie don't just sit there," she whined softly as she tried to free herself.

This wasn't so bad! Nothing was happening, and her music was keeping her content and keeping her from hearing anything that could possibly be happening in the graveyard. No screams, no groans, no scrapes or anything. It was an empty graveyard! Totally. Augh, it gave her the creeps how big was this place? "I never thought that you would be the one acting like a slut when I was gone. Maybe you shouldn't, oh-oh~ Kiss and tell~." What Evari didn't notice, however, was the battery meter on her phone was somehow dying. Her fault for not charging it, really. But she was so bad about doing that lately, so wrapped up in her own thoughts that she didn't often think 'oh maybe I should check how much battery life my phone has so I know how much to use it before I need to charge it again'. She had more important things to think about, honestly! So, needless to say, it came to Evari's great surprise that her music was suddenly gone. "I'm hearing dirty stor--...the ********> Evari blinked and stopped walking after passing some gate to reach into her pocket for her phone. Why did the music stop? Did she hit something? "Oh, come on! You've got to be kidding me!" She whined, turning it off for a moment to then turn it back on in hopes that there would be some life again. No dice. Damnit! Not cool. Now she had to walk all the way home in silence? That wasn't even...ugh...seriously?! Evari was about to pout, whine some more and then continue on her way when she heard something. Something that made her heart stop, her eyes widen, and her glow flare out of surprise and...a...bit of fear.
Okay, no let's face it hearing a tiny voice coming from behind her calling for help scared the s**t out of Evari more than just 'a bit'. What the hell was that?! Sh-should she look? Should she just continue on? But someone was calling for help! What if...oh god what if it was a murder and the murderer had just left them to die and they were suffering?! A cemetery was totally a good, if not a bit cliche, place to commit murder! Was that what she was walking past?! A murder scene? Evari couldn't just ignore it, slowly turning enough to peek around for the source of the voice. O-oh...it was just a little girl stuck in the gate.
Wait! What was a little girl doing in a cemetery in the middle of the night?! "Whoa...h-hey...are you okay little girl?" Evari gasped, turning on her heel to hurry over to the gate. Oh, she was stuck in the bars...um..er, okay then! She'd just help her out! Couldn't let her stay stuck, and maybe she could find this girl's parents or something. She was so little! Why was she all by herself?! "C'mere, I'll help you out of that.." She said gently, awkwardly reaching out to try and help the girl through the bars of the gate.

She wiggled and squirmed determinedly after her outcry which didn't go unheard because the glowy-thing was coming closer and suddenly she stopped squirming and peered up at the source. From her hair small points of glowing eyes could be seen as she stared up in awe and admiration. There was the glowy thing she was chasing and it was talking and right there and was reaching out toward her. Now that she was more relaxed and not so anxious she reached up and grasped the teenager's hand and was easily able to slip through without much trouble but now Robbie was being left behind.
Once she was free she stared back through the gate bars and frowned suddenly and then looked up at the glowy lady and then down through the gates. Not only was Robbie there but so was home.
"Nnnn..I did bad thing again. Daddy'll be so sad," she mumbled as she began to fret, "A...and I left Robbie behind..."

"Theeere we go." Evari chuckled as she helped the girl free, helping straighten her out afterward. Hmmm? What was that glow? She blinked and stared curiously at the girl's face, clearly trying to figure out what she was seeing. Were...those her eyes? Awwww! That was kinda cute! Her eyes glowed like Evari's skin glowed, how sweet! But that still didn't tell her why this little girl was in a friggin' cemetery by herself in the middle of the night. Her gaze followed the girl's toward the gate and a--HOLY s**t THAT RABBIT WAS COVERED IN BLOOD! Her eyes widened and she just stared, almost missing what the girl was saying. It...wh-why was it covered in blood?! Oh s**t, her assumptions were right weren't they!
Oh! The girl! She was talking...right...uh...i-ignore the rabbit. Creepy ******** thing. Evari reached over to gently tuck the girl's hair behind her ears so she could see her face if she let her, giving her an assuring smile. Wow, her eyes were really cool! "Shhh, don't worry. Your daddy, huh? Well...I can help you find him?" And...Robbie? Her eyes flickered toward the blood ******** covered rabbit on the other side of the gate. Couldn't they leave him? Pretty please? He was so damn creepy. But if he was hers...um...m-maybe he just needed a bath. That couldn't be blood. Nope. Just...spaghetti sauce from a messy dinner? You keep telling yourself that, Evari. Makes it totally true. "Weeeell that's the fun thing about gates." Evari told the little girl as she pushed herself up to stand, checking to make sure the gate wasn't locked or anything before pushing it open and smiling down at the girl again. "They open~." Now they just had to find this girl's daddy, right? Seriously, what kind of parent lets their daughter wander off into a cemetery?

She let the older girl straighten her out and even allowed her to tuck some hair behind her ears though her expression was very much of confusion since she wasn't used to this sort of attention from females much less anyone outside of her family which consisted mostly of males. Cheryl calmed down a bit when the glowy-person promised to help her find Daddy and then watched as she opened the gate with slightly parted lips, "Too small to reach that far," she pointed out quietly.
Once the gate was opened she wasted no time running back in (tripping a bit along the way), with no fear, and grabbing Robbie into a hug and nuzzling her face against his, "Robbie~," she called out happily.
She looked back over at the glowy-lady, "My daddy was working. He digs stuff," she explained vaguely, "we live here."

That made sense, the latch was too high for her...maybe if the girl got a stick? Nah, too much work. It was a good thing Evari was there to help her! What would she be stuck doing if she hadn't come along? Some kind of freak could've...ugh. It was just a good thing Evari was here, huh? Little did she know the girl wouldn't have gotten stuck in the first place were it not for her walking by. She watched the girl run past her to grab the rabbit, instinctively -- where the hell did that come from? -- reaching out to catch her whenever she tripped a bit. That was...strange. Evari had never tried to protect a little kid like that before from tripping, must less one she'd only known all of two minutes. She blinked and just kind of stared at her outstretched hands, kind of confused by her own actions. Huh. Weird. But the girl was happy hugging her totally spaghetti sauce covered rabbit and seemed safe, so Evari let her hands drop and followed her into the graveyard.
"Ah, so that's how ya got away? Naughty little thing." Evari teased affectionately, chuckling. A digger? What kind of digger? Like...construction? The last statement cut her off, staring further into the graveyard.
...Gotta be ******** kidding me, Evari thought to herself, looking down at the girl and then back up again. Seriously? Sh..she did promise...and there was no way in hell she would be able to just ditch this girl here. "O-oh? I...see...um...then let's look for your daddy. Is he working in here or does he work somewhere else?" Please work somewhere else. Please oh please!

She didn't mind being helped when she tripped and was thankful for it though she forgot to say so once she was hugging onto her faithful blood covered companion. Cheryl peeked over at the glowy-lady and blinked a bit as she called her naughty. What'd that mean? She'd never really been called naughty before but it sounded unpleasant and thus a brief frown crossed over her lips and she mumbled "'mmnot," and she buried her face into the side of Robbie's head for a brief moment.
When the Lady went on ask questions she showed her face again and stared a bit. Eee so pretty.
"He works near our home. Here at the cemetery," she said softly as she gazed toward the depths with a fearless expression. Cheryl lived here and played here. What was there to fear? Sure there were zombies sometimes but that was okay. She looked back at the glowy-lady and smiled her odd little smile, "Scared...?"

Evari blinked and watched as the little girl seemed to dislike her teasing, reaching down to playfully ruffle her hair. She didn't do it very hard, and she even fixed her hair after mussing it up. "I was only kidding, cutie. You look like a very good girl, I'm sure your daddy would be very worried if you got lost." Evari told the girl...whose...name she still didn't know. Oops, maybe she should learn this girl's name or something in case she heard someone calling for her but didn't recognize the name. Hmm..there was something about this girl though that was incredibly familiar to her. Okay, maybe not incredibly but vaguely. Something about her was vaguely familiar. But Evari couldn't quite place where.
Oh, lovely. He worked here in the cemetery. Greeeat, that meant she had to go further in. Evari blinked and looked a little thrown off by the smile on the girl's face. Had this girl blinked even once since they met? Somehow that cute little smile just seemed so creepy. So very, very creepy. "Ehhh...I'll be fine. Just creepy here...so what's your name? I'm Evari." Evari offered the girl her hand, though if she wasn't opposed to it maybe she could even carry her. Don't ask, even Evari wasn't sure why she had the sudden urge to carry a little girl.

She seemed to calm down a bit after the Glowy-Lady decided to apologize for her bad choice in words at least where she was concerned. Cheryl was a good girl. Always a good girl, never bad. Anyone saying otherwise would probably find themselves getting some sort of special treatment or at least a small girl glaring and pouting at them as if they were the worst criminals ever. Cheryl made a small sound of protest as her hair got ruffled but once again settled when the hair got straightened again. Goodness such a random person she was with currently!
Cheryl gave off an odd giggle, "It's not creepy~, it's my home. My pretty, pretty home." She loved her home and the way she always seemed to find neat things scattered about here and there. Sometimes she found flowers, she never took them but she did admire them. Even the tombstones were very interesting she enjoyed tracing them with her fingertips. Oh right. Names.
"I am Cheryl," she replied after a moment and soon slipped her small hand into Evari's with her arm still wrapped securely about Robbie's neck. The small girl gazed about before she nodded toward a path, "That way..."

Seemed this girl didn't take teasing or jokes very well...though considering she lived in this graveyard maybe she just wasn't used to them. What kind of child lived at a cemetery? She watched the girl quietly, trying to figure out why she was so vaguely familiar. She could swear she'd met her before! Or at least seen her...but...where?! It was starting to drive her crazy! Though it was a pleasant distraction from the creepy cemetery. So friggin' creepy. She blinked and watched the girl as she giggled in a strange way, it sent a small shiver down her spine and gave her goosebumps...and not in a pleasing way. That...was an odd feeling; how could one little girl give off such a creepy vibe yet still be so damn cute? Evari gave the area they were in a quick glance, making a face when Cheryl wasn't able to see it. Pretty, huh? Sure...it...could be pretty...maybe? Eh...she'd just let it be.
Evari turned back to Cheryl with a smile, gently holding her hand when she accepted the hand holding. "It's nice to meet you, Cheryl. Pretty name." She told her, looking toward where Cheryl was directing them to go. Alright then...looked like a good enough path. Evari put her other hand in her pocket and walked in that direction with Cheryl, looking around for any sign of life. Or even unlife.
Though if she saw a zombie she was picking up Cheryl and running, no questions asked and all protests ignored.
Suddenly Evari gasped and stopped walking, looking down at Cheryl again. She remembered! "You were at the festival party..thing in August!" She said this almost victoriously, clearly proud of herself for remembering. Evari hadn't seen much of her but she'd seen her! She was with that strangely popular hooded guy...and Mrrh...she'd also been with Mrrh...ugh.

Cheryl wasn't used to being teased at least not in that fashion. Her world was a small one and it was small enough that those around her didn't really tease her or at least not in a fashion that challenged how she behaved and whether she was bad or good. It wasn't her fault anyways, it was totally the Glowy-Lady's fault that she had been put in this predicament at all but all of that was forgotten at this point.
She smiled her small unsettling smile again, "Thank you," she murmured softly and once Evari started walking she walked along with her. Cheryl wouldn't fight too much if she was picked up and ran off with in the case of Zombies she just hoped the young woman would listen to her when the small girl would try to direct her to safety.
Cheryl stopped and stared at the young woman oddly and a tilted head until she seemed to finally catch on, "Ohh...Yes, I remember...You are the same glowy thing I wanted to go see...But I had to stay with Daddy, he was ner...ner...Scared."

W-wow, what a creepy smile. Maybe if was because of the hair being all in her face so Evari could only see a part of it? And the glowing stare...but she adored that her eyes glowed, especially because they were the same color as her own glow. When Cheryl looked up at her she waited to see if she'd also recognize her, wondering if maybe Cheryl had seen her as well. Oh good! So she did remembered the...glowy...thing?
Evari chuckled and smiled, raising her brow. "Glowy thing? Cute, well now you know I'm a glowy lady. Daddy?" Oh, so her daddy had been there? Hmmm...hood boy and Mrrh...
...Er... "So...your daddy is the guy with the big hoodie on?" Please let that be who it was. If her father was Mrrh she'd just...never return her. She deserved better than an a*****e like him who made little girls cry! But hey, if she knew who her daddy was then she could help find him! She'd know what he'd look like if she saw him! Right? Unless he had his hood down...? Sure it helped shade from the sun in the day time but now it was night, there was nothing to keep out of his eyes! Because that's totally the only reason someone would wear a hoodie in August.

She rested her cheek on top of Robbie's head quietly and stared up at Evari as she spoke. Indeed the small girl now knew it was a glowy woman and not just a random moving glowing thing. It was an interesting thing to know now for the most part. Cheryl just kept smiling and nodded patiently. Every now and again the small girl would move make an odd, quick movement with her head mostly involuntary it happened the longer she stared at Evari.
Cheryl shifted her weight a bit, "Yes, that is my Daddy. He is the most wonderful Daddy ever. He takes care of me, my brother, and Uncle Stitches because he loves us very much," she murmured softly. It is true the small girl put her guardian on such a high pedestal that it'd probably be a long fall if Anon made a false move.
Still the love in her voice was evident and probably the least creepy thing she'd done for most of the evening.

This wasn't so bad! Sure, Cheryl had her moments...her smile, the fact that Evari was pretty sure the girl hadn't blinked even once since they met, that giggle she'd given, but she was generally a pretty cute little girl. She liked Evari's glow, and she had a cute...spaghetti-sauce covered rabbit! Evari chuckled until she saw the way the girl's head suddenly twitched. What the--it did it again! Was she alright? It was even creepier than the giggle! She bit her lip and listened as Cheryl went on about how amazing her daddy was. Okay, so as long as he was her dad and not Mrrh. Ugh. Mrrh. "Oh? You have a brother?" She piped up, making a little face at the 'Uncle Stitches' bit. Ah, so that's what he was...? But...why was he here? Didn't he live at the shop? Kay said he was always there... "Sounds like you really love your daddy...what's his name?" Maybe if she knew his name she could call for him or something? It was pretty quiet in this graveyard -- as it should be -- so surely her voice would carry far enough without anything to cover it up, right?
Her head twitched again. Evari frowned. "Hey...are you okay, Cheryl?" Was something wrong? That didn't look good!
