It was a sunny autumn day in the marketplace. There were people selling harvested fruits and vegetables out on the stands and even some non-food items here and there for those that were interested in that sort of thing. Wolfram had come with his mother mostly to help her carry things but at the moment Luis was busy somewhere a few feet away from where he was wandering (or so he last checked). He wanted to get a better look at this vendor that was selling these lovely chains and other bits of jewelry to see if they were really all that fantastic.
Looking turned to touching when the vendor was busy with something else and touching inevitably lead to pocketing without Wolfram making a conscious choice of doing so. All he knew is that there was something new in his pocket and the weight felt completely natural.
When the vendor peeked at the marionette boy he smiled up at the adult with his crossbar floating happily above him as his hands folded behind his back as if he hadn't touched a thing, "Good 'morrow, Friend-merchant," he said happily and backed away a little.
The vendor raised an eyebrow and didn't seem things were missing yet and continued on their business when a new customer seemed to be taking interest.

Bug stretched her arms out high above her. "Ahhh," the air was crisp, it was just so nice. Bug sniffed the air, there was food out in the open air... Lots of it. Bug's tummy grumbled and thats when she made her move down a couple of streets and eyed the tents in the distance.
Bug slyly and casually walked into the crowd of people, now this was the place to be. Bug at once first slipped her hand into the pocket of an unsuspecting man. boo, there's barely anything in it after taking out the two coins she tossed the wallet aside and frisked an apple for a stand. It wasn't long when she noticed the sparkles. Her beady little eyes narrowed in on some.... HEY! that little thief. Bug had watched the thing she wanted from the jewelery booth get pocketed.
Bug bit her nails and made a brisk walk in order to bump into the boy. Colliding with his shoulder and snatching up all the contents of his pocket. she turned back quickly " Opps, sorry about that" she giggled and disappeared into the crowd quickly.

He stumbled a bit at the bump and even his crossbar wiggled a bit chaotic in the air as he regained his footing (and snagged a bit of something from the girl's person). When she spoke he grinned cheerfully, "Not a problem, friend. Be more careful, hm?" he chattered cheerfully and watched as she disappeared. Huh. His pocket felt lighter, touché! Well played. Since he wasn't too attached to what had left his pocket he was more than fine with it leaving, plus he didn't even remember what it was anyways. So he looked over what it was that he had snagged from the winged girl thoughtfully and started to wander off.
Easy come easy go. She got a piece of him and he got a piece of her. Wolfram grinned deviously as he continued to walk. This should be a merry chase if she realized it! He started to walk a bit more earnestly to see if he could hide just in case she didn't share his mindset.

Bug laughing to herself in an alleyway He's certainly not my frie... HEY HE STOLE FROM ME?! Bug was shocked and angry, that was her thing to do. And what he just did well that was clearly a challenge. Bug surveyed the crowd looking for him. Oh that's right he had that thing above his head. That made finding him much easier.
Once her target was on sight Bug slipped out of the alcove and began sneaking behind and around the vendors. As she got closers she slithered past and waited until he got close. To which she grabbed Wolfram by the shoulder and pulled him into an alleyway and slammed him against a wall.
"Ahem" figuring that was the only word necessary for their conversation and put her flat open hand out in front.

For the most part he was screwing with her now. He just wanted to see what she would do and didn't even put much of a fight up when she suddenly yanked him into the alley and had him slammed against the wall. He let out a deep sigh once he was there pinned and apparently at her mercy and simply stared at her with amused golden eyes, for a moment his tanned skin went white before it flickered back to tan. He let out a low whistle as he stared at her face.
His eyes flicked down to her hand and then up at her, "Yes it is a very lovely hand, as lovely as your face," he said cheerfully at her. He wasn't sure what she was expecting since he wasn't exactly a mind reader. Silly girl!

Her eyebrows furrowed with a "are you ******** kidding me" look. She took back her hand only to forcefully reach into his pocket and pull out her stolen object waving it in his face.
"And wouldn't this look even lovelier in my pocket?" She could be cheeky too. Bug released her grip only to look him up and down trying to judge what he'd do next.

Wolfram only laughed as she took the time to forcefully reach into his pocket and get what he had taken from her, "My my, such a forceful little angel~," he cooed quietly and when she dangled the object at him he smirked. "Oh, I don't know. It looked - and felt - wonderful in my pocket too. But if it makes you glad to have it then very well."
He stood up and dusted himself off, he wasn't too concerned about anything on his person, whatever he had or treasured were safely tucked away at home or in his heart. Whatever she sought to take from him she probably wouldn't get any time soon, "Easy come, easy go."

Bug glared at the boy ignoring his angel comment."Yes, yes it would." she said stubbornly. He was haughty too haughty for her liking, it was almost becoming hard to resist starting an actual fight with the boy. She did have a feeling that he get some kind of kick out of that. No there had to be something to get him ruffled.
Bug looked at her nails in an confident way, though she knew to do it she never knew why she had to look at them.
"Oh Sure, my pockets maybe be easy same with that lazy vendor, but" she paused glancing up at him for a second.
"No, never mind you wouldn't be interested in something like that" she waved at him slightly and started to make her way out of the alley way. She wondered if he'd take her bait though.

He really didn't care what she thought of him. Honestly in his mind she'd already reached the level of a simple two-bit thief that probably wouldn't last long running around with him if she so decided to do so. He finished dusting himself off and righted his crossbar and made sure it wasn't injured from the small scuffle that they had taken into the alley.
Wolfram glanced at her and raised an eyebrow. It wasn't so much the challenge that he was after as much as it was the simple acquisition plus, most of the time, he wasn't really aware he was doing it. It was like expecting a cat to purr on command or something similar. He watched after her as she walked away.
Again he had nothing to prove to her, only overly confident fools had something to prove. Obviously she did otherwise she wouldn't display so much bravado, "Oh if you aren't going to just tell me about it, good bye then, Friend!"

Bug didn't care so much that he didn't take her bait what did that matter to her for anyways? She did however growl at the mentioning of her being his "Friend."
The urchin peeked her head around the corner and scowled at him. "AS IF," she said stubbornly. She ruffled her hair and walked away in hopes she never meet that guy again. Bug was too busy getting over her encounter to notice the fawn she was about to bump into.
"Oof" Bug rubbed her face after bumping into the lady's side. She looked up at her... She looked nice.
"S...sorry about that."
