Even though everyones like "Well it's be cooler if he was guilty."

The thing is, there wont be a new NPC introduced because Rufus would just take over for him. Aaand that's just be it, there'd be no new trial because of it.

If he's Innocent, then who did it? More plot twists, more out of this world plot ideas. It's just so much better Innocent. It's not even because I like Ian. Which I dunno if I dooo. D"

I never really liked Ian.

That said, I'm saying innocent.
He is the spirit of Gaia, one of the few pieces that has remained in tact over the past few years.
Ian is the past of Gaia, if not the future, then that punk Gino (who I dislike even more than Ian) will be left to take over completely.

I bought my first item from Ian, which I wore for a year an a half.
Ian was always there to giftwrap useless stuff for me.
Ian is a boring NPC, but he is an ANCIENT (Gaia-wise) boring NPC.

Plus, Rufus looks stupid in clothing.

As for my thoughts on other stuff, I think it could go the same either way.
Ian is important to the story and it would be far too boring if he got locked away.
The story would die.

I'm guessing that Ian will be proven innocent by a twist of events, even if he is thrown in the slammer. That means, no new NPC, nothing big at all. Just a twist here on Gaia that is the most predictable of any twist.

So, for the sake of the storyline, innocent.
