Has anyone tried it? One of my friends is a certified Zumba instructor, and she teaches a free class on campus for my friends and I. It's an hour work out and OMG. It. Is. Awesome. It's a workout that combines salsa dancing and other Latin dancing with work out moves. Not only is it a good work out, it's super fun and makes you feel great about yourself.

OMG! I used to do it all the time back home and it was so much fun!
But now that I'm away at school, I haven't enjoyed it as much because the instructor here sucks compared to my old one, she uses lame songs and has a max of like three pretty basic moves per song. My old instructor used to make full fledged dance routines! And she used awesome music too! I miss her! sad
I also don't like that there's only two classes of it a week, one is during one of my classes and the other ends like a half hour before a class where I have to look cute 'cause there's a guy I like in it! So for a third of our classes together I am all kinda sweaty and stuff! It's lame.
But yeah, zumba is still really awesome, definitely recommend it, makes working out FUN! biggrin

Are the classes you sign up for, equal to the DVD's they have on TV?
I've recently acquired the set, but need to burn them.

My aunt does Zumba. Everyone says it's so fun, but I really don't like dancing! Unless I'm on a DDR mat. Still though, never tried it..

one of my roommates, an older indian dude, tried it. i doubt anyone here is the same, but he said it was fun. lol.
