Appearance: Stitched together skin, mismatched eyes, short, one feet is a goat's, red hair, and a fondness for red and black.
Likes: Her mother, painting, and cartoons.
Dislikes: Romero, being told she's too young to cook, and loneliness.
Favorite colors: Black, red, dark blue, and pale purple.

Shadow Stage, Journal entry 1

“Uncle Romero, no, don’t hurt it!”
Eve called out as she sat in front of him, begging him to release the silver colored rose in his right hand. The rose had been ripped out of the ground by him in a fit of rage brought on by Anya going on a date with Louie.
She was trying to beg him to release the rose. It was not the rose’s fault Anya didn’t chose him for a date.
The silver was a healing rose, the petals of which could be made into any serum and heal any wound if poured into the wound. She had been working on it for weeks to help Kalia and Damin heal people. And Romero was trying to destroy.
“This rose won’t heal my heart, so it’s useless.”
She continued to beg, but screamed in horror as black flame surrounded the hand that held the rose, making it blacken as the flame touched it.
“NO!”
Eve went very still at the sight and smell of the burning rose. She felt something snap inside her and a dazed look came to her mismatched pink and yellow eyes. Romero was laughing at his niece’s pain, not noticing the look until he saw her rush at him. Then he looked at her eyes, he tried to remember what Ivy had said about her daughter. Something about don’t upset her beyond her breaking point. Yeah, Eve had a special ability; apparently all the strange children had them.
He saw her latched onto his leg tightly with a grip that showed the toddler‘s anger.
Something curious happened, ivy formed on the little girl’s skin and creepped onto his leg, climbing with each second. And each second, he gasped as a wave of pain ran through him. One look told him that it was Eve’s pain he was feeling, all the pain from infancy to her present stage.
The pain was so sharp, it made him let go of the burning flower and watched as it fell to the ground. The toddler released his leg, lunging for it. It hit the ground a few inches from her hands.
Full-out sobs escaped the toddler as she picked up her fallen rose and closed her eyes, putting as much energy as she could into the rose, trying to heal it.
Romero came near her, but stopped as she growled out, “No, you murderer. Get away! You’ve tried to kill this flower enough!”
Her voice was harsh and savage, her anger fused with her energy as it went to the rose. The rose started to glow, lifting from her hands.
Romero ran already at the child’s tone, he had never heard Eve so upset and angry. She was beyond pissed.
Eve opened her eyes as the rose glowed, but ducked down as it exploded a moment later. She was sobbing still and thinking, Romero killed it, he killed it before it could even live a day!
A sound made her ears that made her thoughts pause for a moment.
“Her I on, he he ri?”
She sat up and stared at the shadow that stood in front of her.
She barely blinked when it suddenly latched onto her.
“He, he, her, ion, on!”
Her silver rose became a shadow…
Her shadow.
She knew because Herion was going to be what the silver was to be called if it ever grew.
She hugged him back fiercely, promising mentally to maim Romero if he ever tried to hurt Herion again. She wouldn’t let him hurt her shadow again.
