Zirconia was literally torturing the human mind in her head as she violated Zee's careful, systematized schedule by dragging their shared body out for a patrol.

She wasn't interested in anything to do with negaversers and starseeds and white moon senshi. Zirconia was only interested in her own senshi; She just hoped there was still one around to find.

But she wouldn't give up! The large, fluffy feline was trotting down the sidewalk with chest puffed out and a general air of self-importance as she started her first attempt at combing the city to find information on her missing charges, her ears swiveling in search of sounds and her head held high as she stayed alert, hoping to sense a familiar energy signature.

It wasn't exactly easy to concentrate with a whining presence complaining the whole way in the back of her mind.

With an ungraceful thump, Zirconia hopped on top of a dumpster so she could have a quiet place to argue with Zee's self about how finding the remaining parallels was more important than her stupid English paper. However, she just ended up flicking her paws, disgusted at her chosen perch.

Somewhere in all this distraction, she managed to realize that one of her sources of irritation was the cringe worthy sensing of something nearby. Something vague and unfamiliar, and until Zee would cooperate, indeterminable. Still, her already long hair stood on end and her back arched as she let out a low growl that rose to a hostile hiss to anything that might be nearby or spying.

********* mental radar had picked up two things noteworthy. One was an obvious Youma nearby. The other was something notable, but not something so easy to pinpoint. It did not seem like a Youma, nor a Negaverse Lieutenant, and if it was a Senshi, there was something different about that one compared to the rest she had awakened. Being the curious manx cat she was, she could not resist investigating.

She hopped, and she almost seemed to bounce towards a dumpster in an alley which gave her some pretty strong vibes, her collar jingling the whole way. Sometimes Youma could be found skulking about inside of a dumpster, but those were usually only the weaklings. However, the youma she had sensed was still a ways off. No, what she sensed now seemed to be on top of the dumpster. And hissing at her.

Not easily intimidated, the tailless feline sat her rump down and tilted her head at the other longer-haired cat. Green eyes managed to note a crescent moon shape upon the feline's forehead. Yet, something seemed very different about this shape. It wasn't golden or light in color. Instead, it was an indigo color, much darker than anything she would have ever expected of a Moon cat.

The spotted cat's pale green eyes blinked before she offered a smile to the seemingly upset cat. "Do you sense the youma nearby?" Easiest way to go about talking to an upset cat was to bring up business rather than pleasure.

Zirconia's eye darted to the manx the moment she was in sight and watched her very carefully. She still seemed slightly ruffled, but she took on a less hostile, if still cautious stance. The fact it was another moon cat was the most relaxing circumstance possible, but Zirconia would never let her guard down completely with a nearby stranger, especially since there was a horrid, unidentified nagging sense still present, and the smaller feline had just confirmed it was a youma.

"Yes," She stated, her tone quivering at a small point midway as Zee had attempted to take over and answer. The two minds had not gotten used to sharing at all, and since Zirconia only planned to be there temporarily, she was horribly unyielding.

She was inwardly nervous, not having dealt with a youma situation before, though she was half expecting it to come up soon. She just wished it had been after she found her senshi.

Speaking of... "Where is your team?" She asked ********* straightforwardly, wondering why this moon cat was roaming around without any senshi in tow. As far as Zirconia was concerned, only she had a valid excuse. Well, maybe there was some other excuse out there but she sure couldn't think of one from up there on her mental pedestal.

********* head bobbed up and down as the other agreed to the fact that there was a Youma nearby, causing her collar to jingle lightly. The fortunate thing about being in this form was the fact that a guardian cat did not leak any sort of energy that could be sensed. It was far different from the other form which attracted Negaverse agents and Youma by the hoards.

"We still have time before it probably finds us... hmmm..."

There was a pause.

"Might I ask what your name is? Mine is *********!" With a tilt of the head and a half tilt of the head, another smile greeted the other pale colored cat.

The mention of her team was noted with a simple "My team is currently only a duo at the moment, since I still need to find 6 more of my girls." She laughed politely before adding "And as much as I dislike it, they both have their own lives and cannot dedicate their lives 100% to the life of a Senshi!"

Zirconia nodded in agreement though she really had no idea. She had no idea how far away a youma had to be before she sensed it thanks to a lack of experience. She was a pampered regent of royalty, she partook in wars and politics, not gritty street level things.

Come to think of it, she was starting to feel rather demoted.

"Zirconia," She half mumbled in response at ********* request for it and then bristled at her response about her team. Now that she mentioned it, she guessed it was logical. Her own human had to go to school and deal with other trivial matters so other cats' senshi probably had the same issue.

Managing senshi in a thriving Moon Kingdom had different mechanics, she was starting to realize, than here on Earth, and her mind started drifting off into how to infiltrate schools like a battle plan later in order to see if she could pick up any of hers.

Brought back to reality with a slight pang of urgency that her youma sense manifested in, she turned her attention back to *********. "I'm looking for mine too," She stated, bringing the subject to a question she desperately wanted to ask. "But they're already awake."

The forest cat jumped down off the dumpster lid to be on level with the manx, tail twitching in anxiousness. "Have you seen any senshi or cavaliers with lots of black and dark colors in their fuku? You know, compared to regular ones..."

Green eyes bounced along with the newly introduced feline's body as she descended from the dumpster to the street level. Since she was merely a feline, she could not tip her hat as she could in her other form, but it did not mean she forgot her manners. Lifting up her haunches and lowering her upper body in an attempted 4-legged curtsy, she replied "It is a pleasure, Zirconia." The smaller of the pair tossed a playful wink in the other's direction before lifting herself back up to her relatively dwarfed height.

As the other spoke, her eyes easily found the other cat's yellow ones (goodness, they reminded her of mustard yellow... mmmm... mustard) and listened carefully to the dilemma. Her head bobbed and her neck bell rang slightly to accent her understanding nods.

"Yours come pre-awakened? If only I was so lucky!" ********* light airy laughter filled the alley for a short moment before she replied to a much more serious prompt.

"Cavaliers, I have seen none. Senshi, however, I have seen plenty. I am not certain you would want to encounter the senshi I have met in black. They are now allied with the Negaverse. It is easy to tell, because of the feeling I get from them." The spotted feline was not the sort to frown, but her features mellowed to a much more neutral one before sitting down again. "I am not certain if you are saying these girls were yours, but I have encountered Sailor Hel and Sailor Tisiphone. Both were senshi as you described. Lots of black and dark colors. However, their starseeds share the same darkness that the Negaverse Lieutenants have. They are not quite right..."

At ********* response, Zirconia seemed slightly less bristled, apparently approving of the little four legged curtsy. But that approval came and went with amazing speed as she listened to her talk about the dark fuku'd senshi and she was back to an agitated stance.

"No," She stated very clearly, trying to sound fairly rational and failing, since there was a slight malice in her voice at a perceived implication that the corrupted senshi could be hers. "Those are not my senshi. My senshi would never ally with anyone but our queen."

But our queen is dead.

She almost cringed as her own words circled her back to that painful thought, and her expression went from agitation to a somber note that seemed to be it's default setting these days.

"...Anyway," She mumbled quietly, trying to get a grip and pull herself off her own emotional rollercoaster, "They do not have the same energy as the negaverse, they're... well like me," She informed, head held in an ever proud manner. She was still debating how much information to share with *********; Another radar that could locate them was better than her on her lonesome, but she her natural instinct told her to hold back certain tidbits. She had just met her, after all.

"Wait, What? Pre-awakened? They were never asleep."

And with one question she had already broken her resolve to reveal as little as possible. Her mouth was lacking the off-switch her brain desperately wanted.
PostPosted: Tue Nov 02, 2010 7:43 pm

Even with the slightly sharper tone, ********* expression still remained quite neutral, but quite pleasant all the same. She remained standing in place, eyes upon the other's eyes. "I was quite certain they were not yours. If they emit such a feeling, and you, quite frankly, do not."

The corners of her mouth twitched slightly. "Also... I was the one to awaken Sailor Hel... before she changed her fuku to black..." It still hurt to think the Senshi of Ash had turned coat. However, she wanted answers, and try as the manx might, these answers were never answered sufficiently enough to the girl.

"You do give off a vaguely different energy, but... it seems neutral in some senses." It was hard to describe a source of energy that was not of the White Moon and not of the Dark Kingdom.

Then there was an exaggerated pause. ********* pale green eyes blinked curiously, head tilting slightly to the side. "Never asleep? They were born on this Earth with their powers as babes?"

Zirconia seemed to try and act neutral when ********* explained. She knew her habit of perceiving insults wasn't very spot on, especially when it came to her senshi, but she wouldn't allow herself to outright apologize and just didn't say anything on the matter. Not even to offer condolences for the apparent hurt when it came to the Sailor Hel.

Suddenly, she sat up straight, wondering how to answer. It was tactically irresponsible to discuss ones soldiers, but she was not a secret keeper. ********* seemed nice enough but Zirconia was stingy enough with her trust that she was damn near irrationally paranoid.

"N-no..." She stumbled. It was probably best to not lie to escape since she was an awful liar, which put her into a corner she did not like being in. "We come from somewhere else," She started, thinking of the simplest way to explain. "...Yes. We come from a different moon kingdom. With a different queen. My senshi are simply lost here after a mission. It's my own mission to find them and take them home," She said with a quick nod, confirming to herself that was good enough. Truthful and informative, but not too dangerously informative in case any unwanted ears were listening in.

It was rather strange to hear this cat explain something that seemed so foreign. "A different moon kingdom..." she repeated, as if testing it upon her tongue for validity. Alas, she didn't find the answer she was looking for in repeating the statement.

However, having personal missions was not exactly a foreign concept to the Manx. "Well, the saying is 'home is where the heart is'... but to each their own!" She smiled a bit. "I have my own mission for my own girls, but it means I need to find them first."

Her ears twitched and her head turned away.

"Ah, there it is..."

In the direction that the feline had turned to, there was another shape similar to their own. However, it wasn't a guardian cat, or even a regular cat. It was too large to be that. No, it was a Youma that strangely had a very feline shape. The main thing to distinguish it from any normal sort of feline was the fact it had 2 sets of eyes and two tails.

"Oh, so that's where my tail went! I was beginning to wonder about it!" ********* laughed rather easily, thinking her joke as clever.

Zirconia had to resist a rude 'harumph' to the home is where the heart is statement. It mostly came from her fear, though, that she would be eternally prowling around Destiny City's streets and alleyways on random agendas and would never be back to her proper place in the Black Moon Kingdom. Being a royal regent and then castellan for a queen made for a slightly snooty and spoiled moon cat who was not pleased with other wordly, gritty street work.

Suddenly becoming reaware that the pinging sensation of nearby youma was nearby, she snapped her eyes to the now visible creature and let out a quick hiss as a reflex as she positioned her body to face it and backed up a bit.

Then ********* joke caught her off guard and she found herself actually stopping to look at the manx's lack of tail and to the youma again as if to double check that was impossible and not serious.
PostPosted: Thu Nov 04, 2010 8:20 pm

The matted fur on the Youma seemed to bristle at the attempt of humor. The lower set of eyes seemed to narrow while the upper set remained open as usual. One tail lashed to the side while the other merely curled to one side. Fangs were bared at both of the guardians and a relatively liquidy sounding hiss was the reply to the longer furred one.

"Oh come now you two! There's no need to get all primal on each other. She hisses, you hiss, but does it really get anything done? Not really!" How in the world the manx was able to stay calm was beyond most people and beings. Rather than pinning her ears back or allowing her fur to stand on end, the stout little cat padded towards the Youma.

"It is rather interesting that you were given a shape like us? Does that mean the Negaverse still has hopes of capturing guardians as well?" A shape like them, yes. However, the youma was still much larger.

The upper pair of eyes finally narrowed, and with a rather fast motion, the false feline attempted to swipe at the smaller cat.

The cat almost seemed to bounce back slightly like a ball. "Oh... no sense of humor! Awwww..."

(Please also feel free to puppet our dear Youma, Carneli <3 )

Zirconia rolled her eyes at ********* remark. Her eternally annoyed demeanor was unfortunately a step into her normalcy when her grieving wasn't sending her into random mood swings of rage and sadness and downright crazy.

Unlike the other guardian, Zirconia arched her back and puffed up her already fluffy coat, and when the youma swiped at ********* she lunged. Even if the manx bounced back and avoided injury, Zirconia pounced into the space between youma and ********* and bared her teeth, actually snapping at and incoming swat from the enemy before backing up herself to avoid tumbling into a physical ball of claws and teeth with it, since it's size put her off from out right hurtling herself at it.

She had a weakness when it came to fights, and it was that she had a tendency to lose her temper in the tension of exchanging blows and just dive headfirst into whatever had pissed her off regardless of logic, size, or power.

Though the youma seemed to have no interest in restraining itself and took advantage of her closer proximity, making Zirconia to panic with a haphazard energy shot which caused her to tumble backwards in a near somersault while yowling and landing on her stomach with legs out flat.
PostPosted: Fri Nov 05, 2010 7:14 am

"My, aren't we the feisty one, Zirconia?" The manx chuckled slightly before approaching the other guardian. When she was at the other's side, she nudged her own cheek against her companion's.

"Are you okay?"

As haphazard as the energy shot had been, it still had managed to do some damage. It wasn't a direct hit, but it had managed to hit the youma's foreleg. Where the energy had made contact, the fur almost seemed to disintegrate, leaving a rather notable bald patch over the area.

Once more the feline mimic was hissing, holding its slightly injured leg up, much like a real injured cat might do. Both of its tails were lashing from side to side violently, as if it was preparing to strike again.

Zirconia nudged back in a glimpse of caring assurance before shimmying back up to her paws, head held high like the embarrassing tumble hadn't happened.

In the future, by the time she gets the chance to tell this story it definitely won't have happened.

Even though the shot wasn't a direct hit, the youma did appear to be injured, so she would take that as a small win. Her tail lashed and flicked around in a less threatening, far more fluffy imitation as she took on a defensive stance to brace herself for whatever strike the youma was gearing up to make.

"Aim for the face?" She suggested as her eyes stayed fixed on the bald patch for a moment, and the flicked wildly to take note of every twitch and movement.

Her front paws spread just slightly more with claws out and teeth bared. The old cat had every intention of trying to catch the next swipe in her teeth if the false thing made it that far.
