The blue femme padded down the old narrow trails. Her jog was quick and graceful as her tail swayed behind her. Her rythymic gait was soon interupted into a walk before she halted. She lowered her head adjusting it to the direction of the wind. A whirlwind of new scents invaded her nostrils. She was slightly taken aback when a particular one that had a strange familiarity clinging to it. She shook her head briefly before looking back at the terrain that lay ahead of her.
The gentle breeze pressed against her fur combing it backwards. She turned and looked in the direction she was origionally heading in before looking back where the wind came from. She bobbed her head pointing her nose to the sky, her nostrils testing the wind. There was something... intriguing about it. She took several steps forward and before she knew it she was traveling deeper into the unknown territory.

Kouji and Tomoyo, incidentally, were out for a walk together in the freelands. They were outside of Ieshia's, Whisper's, and Suzaku's territory by now, perhaps hoping to run into their missing sister and daughter. The two spoke in fairly subdued tones, talking of their plan and the preperations ahead.
"We'll need far greater numbers than just six, Kouji. Chen won't take our goal lightly, he never does. Perhaps we should be considering a less direct approach."
The two adults were currently oblivious to the third scent, though this wouldn't be for long. They were traveling upwind of Acelyn however, and would be smelt long before they could smell her, unless the wind shifted in their favor.
"That would have a much better chance of success. I'm not sure if we can manage this even with such a plan, however. He's just as familiar with the lay of the land as--"
The azure pelted youth stopped where he stood, ears perking to attention as did the rest of him. Tomoyo stopped likewise, but a pace or so ahead. They weren't alone.
"Is there someone there?" Kouji spoke into the forest, gazing about with an ocassional swivel of his head.

Acelyn's nostrils expanded breathing in the heavy scents of two approaching. Her muscles tensed up under her as these were foreign lands and foreign wolves. The fur on the back of her neck prickled slightly as she felt the wind shift directions just enough for her to loose the upper hand. It was a stalemate unless the wind continued to shift.
Ears thrusted forward to hear the audible words. Foreign wolves. She reminded herself and yet no sooner she began an approach following the voice. From the sound of it the wolves weren't far away. Her mucsles relaxed as they slid into a graceful walk. She couldn't explain why, but she felt almost as if...
She blinked knowing that words would fail to describe the strange sensation. She breathed in a hushed whisper of air, as if knowing that it was not luck that she fell upon this trail. Acelyn stood tall and brave not quite sure what to expect next. She peered around the bend and came to an arupt halt, her orbs widened in shock as her gaze fell upon the appearence of the wolves.

Tomoyo simply cocked her ears forward then rocked them back, curious by a long shot by the female's behavior. There was something familiar about her, like Tomoyo had seen her before, but Tomoyo knew that she did not know such an individual.
Their markings were similar, that was the first thing Kouji noticed. He looked thoughtful, swishing his tail for a moment, then speaking.
"What is your name?"

Her orbs narrowed on the femme pushing the young male out of mind for the moment. Acelyn recovered her calm composure and her gaze remained steady. Inside she almost shuddered from the feelings inside. This femme looked... her thoughts were interrupted by the male's words. One aud flicked towards him before her gaze followed.
It didn't take much longer before her gaze settled back on Tomoyo. Now both auds focused on the femme as her orbs studied her carefully. Something seemed to click in her mind and for a long moment she remained silent. "Mao." She said akwardly her orbs searching for any reaction in the red femme, "I am her daughter, Acelyn."
Distant memories began to reform in the back of her mind. Faint images of her mother were so strangely remembered. Mao. The name was so familiar and yet so foreign. One that played so small of a role in her upbringing. And yet why did it seem so important now?

Tomoyo's ears skyrocketed. The red-she had to blink somewhat rapidly and otherwise stared at the other female with a rare and incredulous expression. Kouji was silently unaware of his mother's abrupt change of attention, but did look back quickly upon hearing her speak.
"Did you just say you are Mao's daughter?"

Acelyn gave a nod of her head, her orbs glinted with deep thought as she waited for the femme's comment for she had none. Her mouth was dry and her throat would have ackwardly hindered her speech. Her eyes had yet to blink as her paws dared to take her several strides closer. Her paws taking careful steps before sliding to an easy halt. Her gaze was soft and expressive, but at the moment they were curious and ominous like. So many emotions rolled through her mind she honestly wasn't sure what to say or do.
