Daisuke had certainly had a long day well at least to him it seemed longer than usual. It wasn't normal that days seemed long, or dragged on since his patience as a ghost was more out standing than the usual creature running around but at long last, he was just so glad to finally be at his dorm. There he was met by a more than enthusiastic Airi who purred and brushed around his wispy legs like a pleased house cat. He sighed.

"Hello, Airi."
He leaned down to give her a fuss before leaving her and making his way over to the draws where he kept some alternate outfits. Jack, the uniform was plain through classes but he was determined to look keen and keep to his policy. 'Wanna really get to know me, then stick around.' It was a pain and it backfired more than most of his plans but, he wasn't about to drop it now. Grabbing a double layered shirt, black underneath and blue on top he shoved it on staring over at his glasses, books and notes that were on the bed. Not like there was any need for one but, a room needed a bed to make it homely.

Now Airi was more than persistent, pawing at the foggy strands and weaving in and out of his legs constantly. He was clumsy as it was, he didn't need it to be generally made difficult. With a wail of a sigh, he packed in to the kitten like antics and gave a firm nod.

"Ok, ok you win. Let's go for a walk. . ." At this rate, Dai would never pass the year. A walk was anywhere, anywhere close by which would be quick and simple. Though he had to hand it to her, if she hadn't of followed him here, he would be lost somewhere with no idea how to get back. So, she was. . . Useful.

Airi was enjoying the walk at least, bounding around, skipping beside him merrily. He had to break a small smile at the enthusiasm. After leaving the dorm he had kind of swayed on to one of the pathways which way it lead, he had no idea but the pet at the wisps feet looked like she knew entirely where she wanted to go.

Alcyone had been wandering the campus today and her feet were so tired! Why couldn't the school be underwater and the students swam everywhere? That would be more convenient... Thinking about how she was just going to jump on her bed and rest, Alcyone was slightly distracted as she walked on the pathway back to the student dorms. There were a lot of interesting things on campus and it was actually pretty alright here. A lot of places to explore and trouble to get into... Exactly what Alcie wanted and couldn't resist doing.

Continuing along the path, Alcyone saw one small figure that she couldn't seem to make out and one that was obviously a humanoid figure. As she got closer she realized that he was a ghost. How interesting! Her family really only interacted with other demons so when she came to school, the diversity of students really shocked her.

She began to make out the smaller figure as a scareon. It was so cute! She was a sucker for minipets especially the watery ones. As she got closer, Alcyone makes eye contact with the ghost and smiles widely before greeting him. "Hello there! Your scareon is adorable!"

Daisuke's faded attention soon cleared at the sound of a feminine voice, his eyes took to the ghoul as she neared them and instantly he returned her smile. How freakishly nice. Usually the students would just pass by and try avoiding communication or eye contact as much as possible. It was refreshing almost.

Airi knew who she was talking about. A smug, wide kitten like smile crossed her maw and instantly she bounded up to the stranger, with no problem. She sat at her feet and looked up with hopeful eyes, tail swishing slowly side to side. Letting out a soft, melodic 'mreooww.'

He knew what she was looking at. "Thank you." He beamed, coming to a slow halt before the ghoul. "You can pet her if you like, she doesn't bite." At least, he hoped she was wanting attention and not staring at the fins by the sides of her head. . .

"'M Daisuke."
He grinned with little hesitation. This was the first time he had really seen a water creature up close besides Calder, Raziel and G but they didn't count since he hadn't really had chance to speak with them. She looked like she belonged in the water with her attire and fins, like a siren or a pretty mermaid. Made him wonder why she was roaming around campus. Either way, she was very pretty and he wasn't complaining, one bit.

Alcyone had been spending a lot of time fixing up her dorm and trying to make it more like... her. She hadn't had much time to interact with the other students yet and she actually didn't even meet most of them yet. Her personality was naturally social so being in a new place with no familiar faces was abnormal for her. Even if he didn't have an adorable scareon, she still would have greeted him no matter how tired she was.

Smiling widely as she leaned over to pet the scareon, Alcyone looked up at him and responded, "It's a pleasure to meet you Daisuke! My name is Alcyone or you can call me Alcie if you want." She had gotten the nickname when she was younger because her mother got too lazy to yell out her entire name every time she had gotten in some spot of trouble.

"What's your scareon's name?" The demon continued to pet the scareon for a few more seconds and then stood up. There were so many different minipets out there and she loved seeing all of the different sorts. Of course, most of her own minipets were water related. "Where were you headed just now?"

How had he lost that bit in the introduction? He face palmed, causing a stare from his little guider. "Sorry, my bad. This is Airi." A smile grew once more and he nodded politely. "Of course, the pleasures all mine, Alcie." It rolled smoothly from his tongue, the foreign ring to it unique and easy on the ears. He liked it, it suited her appeal.

Airi purred at the demons petting, brushing up carefully with every stroke of her palm, having to wander back and forth, pushing her head up and letting it glide all the way down her back so it brushed across her tail. She liked this taller creature but as standard, Airi would settle for anyone who fussed over her like she was queen of Halloween itself.

Even Dai had to embrace her antics in a slowly forming questionable smirk. His baby blues drifted to the ghouls emeralds as she stood, paying her more attention and honestly pondering her question. He didn't feel weary or nauseous, so he couldn't of had a memory blank right now.

He just wasn't paying attention to where he was going. So, with a sigh he shook his head and chuckled a little.

"I have no idea. Just taking Airi on a walk. She leads, I follow or else I don't think I'd ever get back in one piece."

Well. . . It was the truth. As much as he hate to admit it.

"How about you?" He smiled, patting his leg to call Airi back to him. Realizing the new face was concentrating more on Daisuke now, Airi padded back to him without hesitating, tail swaying side to side slowly.

"It's nice to meet you too Airi." Addressing the scareon quickly and then returning her attention to the ghost, Alcie couldn't help but wonder what it was like being a ghost... So many possibilities! Fortunately, she didn't hold the same prejudices as most of her demon kind and she was equally friendly to all races.

"Ooh that's nice. Most of my companions can't go on walks with me cause they live in the water... But that's nice that she helps you get around." Alcie had only gotten lost on campus once and that was a mess so hopefully that wouldn't happen again.

"I was just wandering the campus a little bit trying to get used to things before classes start. Thankfully the campus isn't too large or confusing. I was just heading back to my dorm because I just got really tired from walking everywhere." Giggling softly, Alcie couldn't help being happy whenever she met new people. "So what classes are you taking?"

Damn right Airi looked proud as her chest puffed out slightly, her eyes sleek and smug as they slid over the girl, throwing a look of 'at least she knows what shes talking about' with a swift 'meeeow'. If he wasn't so inclined to love his little pet he could of kicked her. He pouted watching her before smiling back at Alcie. "They all live by the water? Maybe I should come visit sometime, see what kinds of pets you have. I'm still getting used to the variety here."

"Classes?" He repeated. "Well theres literature, then forms and faces and I guess shadowcraft is my next." He nodded, fumbling a thoughtful expression. "Maybe I'll see you in some of them."

This was nice? A random friendly encounter having a great conversation on campus life. Yeah, this didn't happen too often. "If your tired we can walk you to your dorm if you like? Or if you're interested, you can join us on our walk."

Airi's tail wagged at his words, bouncing up and down on the spot like a hyperactive kangaroo. He chuckled looking down at her before slipping his hands in his pockets and looking towards the demon ghoul.

"How about it?"

Alcyone smiled happily as he mentioned possibly visiting her. "Yeah sure! They're all pretty adorable even though they're not fluffy or soft." She really needed to make more friends at this school before she went crazy of boredom. There were so many things that she wanted to do... so much mischief that she had been formulating in her mind.

"Ooh. I'm taking Shadowcraft too! Hopefully I'll see you in class then!" Her voice was brimming with enthusiasm as she spoke and it was just so nice knowing that she would at least recognize someone.

Even though Alcie was exhausted, she was happy to finally be able to talk to someone. "I'm so tired but I would love to go on a walk with you two. Lead to way Airi!" Hopefully they wouldn't stay out too long... or maybe they would find something else to entertain them?

"Oh I don't mind, I'm used to, urh how to put it. Cold things?" He smiled as Airi skipped ahead, pawing at Venus fly traps and other dangerous yet normal plants that surrounded the paths. He was happy meeting someone new, someone with so much enthusiasm, it almost made him want to get on his toes and do something productive. It was just too addictive.

A grin filled his lips hearing that she would be taking the same class as him. "Great! Lets just hope we don't get killed by the teacher first. I've heard. . . Many things about her. That are rather-" He gave a shudder. "Terrifying." Like, the rumour of her once not wearing underwear around the school. That was one he could of been deadly happy without hearing.

"If you change your mind at all, don't worry about letting me know, or if you wanna do something else. Were happy to comply. Walks just help fill her boredom I think. There's only so long you can stare at four walls without wanting to keel over."
He chuckled.

Airi was making her way towards the other side of campus away from the mausoleum and the monster dorms, she was curious about the the parts she had never seen before and what sort of creatures lived there.

Alcyone was very happy to hear that he was taking at least one class with her and he seemed really nice. "Yeah! I heard that Professor Shox is terrifying at best and I hope that I do well in that class. Shadowcraft seems kind of difficult from what I heard." Laughing lightheartedly, Alcyone didn't really get scared easily and she really wasn't scared of the Professor. Though, she didn't want to get into too much trouble in the first semester to keep her parents happy and get them off her back. Alcie would attempt to keep a lower profile... for now...

"She has a crazy reputation for humiliating students so hopefully I don't get on her bad side..." Teachers and authoritative figures in general didn't really like Alcyone because of her lack of... respect per say. "A walk sounds nice for now. I don't have much homework yet so being outside sounds great." Grinning, Alcyone began walking alongside the ghost. "Yeah, I can't stand just staying in my room either. I have to be out and about doing things or else I'll go crazy!" It was obvious that Alcyone wasn't exactly the most patient or calm student out there and she needed to constantly be doing things to keep her satisfied.

He understood where she was coming from, being humiliated in a classroom full of students, or being singled out was enough to make you dig your own grave never mind what humiliation awaited in the professors class. He fumbled a half frown at that thought. He best not do stuff that would turmoil in to that, or the princess corner. So much, pink, rainbowness to blind you for a lifetime. He shook his head and looked at her. "Naw, definitely no humiliation. That would kill one kid off a an entire unlife."

"Probably will be. I know you get to 'look after something' from what the description said but somehow I doubt everything is gonna be what it appears. They never are." He smiled when she said she had no homework, thankfully he hadn't yet either just some class assignments and they had been easy and opinion based. Which was something that came all too natural to the hand.

"Haha, no wonder she likes you so much, your so alike."
He grinned. "What sort of things do you like to do to keep yourself from going crazy. Have any neat hobbies?"
PostPosted: Mon Nov 08, 2010 10:37 am

Giggling, Alcyone didn't mind the embarrassment or humiliation too much because she was good at laughing things off or just turning things into a joke. Though, she could see how scarring that could be for any other student. "That sounds pretty weird and who knows what she actually has planned. I guess trying to expect certain things doesn't really work in these classes. We gotta just be ready to adapt when things come our way." Alcyone knew too well what that meant especially when it came to her pranks and 'adventures.'

"Hobbies? Not really. Swimming is a hobby but I guess that's expected of me. I like playing all sorts of sports too. How about you?" She couldn't think anything on the top of her head, she just liked to do all sorts of things. Alcyone had a horrible attention span so she needed to constantly do new things. She was kind of like a young puppy, if you don't entertain them, they'll find other destructive ways of keeping themselves occupied.

Sports, she was a lot more active than he was. He sighed and hung his head a little. "Just a library geek." He laughed lightly looking back to her with a smile. "That sounds pretty fun though, never been much for sports." He tapped his chin as he looked at the darkened sky.

She was right in a lot of things she said, seemed to be a lot more realistic than he was, or was it just his sense of humor? He didn't really know, or notice them in himself. Not like he did with other students characteristics. He shrugged lightly and continued on their walk. What other things did he do really when he wasn't working himself to death with school work.

"Don't know if they really class as hobbies but, I like hanging out, working on projects, listening to music and pretty much, taking walks. Might as well be one."
He smirked, looking down at his pet as it gave out an eager "Nyyaaa." in reply.

That was adorable. Studious was something that you wouldn't use to describe Alcie. "That's neat. I can't nearly focus enough to do any real studying and I always am up and about. Sitting down for long periods of time doesn't suit me." Shrugging slightly, Alcie knew that everybody was different and she wasn't going to judge him just because of something trivial like that.

"Sounds relaxing. I prefer swimming to walking though." Grinning at him, she knew that he was the very opposite from Alcie but she could appreciate that. It was clear that she was the type of ghoul that needed constant stimulation and something to keep her distracted or else she would probably go crazy. She was beginning to run out of things to talk about but then she remembered one thing that was going on on campus. "Did you see the stuff about the student council? What did you think of the students running?" She had strongly considered running for a position but decided against it. Alcie preferred to keep a lower profile until she could figure out the relationship dynamics of the students in her classes. Though, she found the proceedings very... interesting.

Daisuke had gone around a couple of the campaign booths. All the neat, looking trinkets the students had designed were great for grabbing everyone's attention. They all went all out and were trying hard. "I thought they were all doing a pretty good job. They were nice to everyone and the merchandise were great." He smiled, tilting his head off to the side gently, his bangs sweeping in to his face slightly. "Well, almost all of them." He could remember the scene with the wolf and the SW. That had been... Interesting. If not a head turner. He was just glad he got past that booth without being beaten on or got given wedgie. His eyebrows lowered in to a valid crease just thinking of 'what could of happened.'

Face smoothing out again, he had a pleasant smile of his lips, enjoying the night out and walking with their new friend. Airi was walking close to Alcie's side, she kept looking up at her curiously, flicking her tail this way and that before jumping a head and acting like a tour guide. The silence was oddly comfortable but the ghoul gave the idea with her perky aura, that he better talk some more. "Which stall did you like best?"
