It had been a long day of exploring the campus and it was getting close to the end of the day. Tahki had made a trip to her dorm to fetch her, what seemed to be, perma chick choco chocobo. She had deemed him Choco Choco mostly because it was fun to say. She knew she had to take him out to go potty before it got to late.
Tahki and Choco Choco wandered around the outskirts of the monster dorm halls. She seemed aimless as she followed after an over cheerful Choco Choco who made happy warking sounds with every step he took. Her eyes were ever watchful on her little bird though. You could never be to cautious.
"Don't wander to far little guy," She crossed her arms behind her head as her Choco Choco walked around in circles. He seemed to be full of energy today as his pace quickened. There was no surprise there since Tahki had to lock him up in her dorm room while she was out and about checking out the school halls. He'd follow her every where if she didn't and after a while it could be a pain.
The little Choco Choco stopped abroptly and warked at what looked like a shiny rock. Tahki blinked and stepped forward to get a better look at just what it was. A shiny to take back to her dorm and add to her collection perhaps? Maybe.
The gryphon quickly snatched up the rock to get a better look at what her bird had just found.

As usual Daisuke couldn't wait to get home and as routine stated, he had got changed and had been begged enough to take Airi out on a walk. He felt bad, since she was always stuck inside but he wasn't right sure about taking her to classes or his clubs generally because of her hyperactive, fussy nature. So, there they were on one of the winding paths found within the campus. Dai was minding his own busniess, looking around at no where in particular when BAM. Airi stopped dead in her tracks. He almost went flying over the purple critter! collecting himself in a stumble. He sighed.
"What was that all about?" He knitted his eyebrows together. When she didn't look up at him, he curiously followed her gaze. There. Two vague figures were ahead. He soon grew cautious, never knowing what sort of students were about. "Be- wait where are you going!?"
Airi was thrilled. She hadn't seen anything quite like it before! She bounded up to the two figures, sitting at the front of them and eyed up the yellow bird. It was much bigger than the normal corrividus. Titling her head and wagging her tail showed how pleased she was with the finding.
It took a few moments for the wisp to catch up, the vague figures were actually very familiar, well one of them at least. He flushed slightly. It was the cute ghoul from class. . . The treasure collector.
"O-oh urm, hi there. . . What a surprise seeing you here." He smiled, rubbing the back of his head, quite embarrassed. "I hope she hasn't been any trouble- Airi. . . Please stop eying her pet up like it's dinner." He sighed, with a small chuckle as he looked back at the gryphon.

Wh-whoa? The ghost that had given her an encouraging thumbs up? Tahki was shocked to see him all the way out here in the woods.
"S-surprise indeed," She blinked. The gryphon was not accustomed to being around ghosts. They seemed to be nice if they were all like this boil before her.
"Taking your pet out for a walk too I see," She gestured to her little chick who was fixated on Airi. "I feel a bit bad... Can't really take Choco Choco to class and I only have limited time in the evening," She sighed.
Choco Choco had no idea that the purple creature before him was possibly eyeing him for a snack. The little check moved in closer for a better look. Tahki quickly picked him up before he could get a better look.
Tahki tilted her head, " I don't think I caught your name in class." She was being more social then normal. Though she really didn't feel threatened by this boy. He had been nice to her.

Had he really come all the way out to the woods? How hadn't he noticed that. "Oh, yeah, now that you mention it. . ." His gaze scoped the area a moment before he shrugged his shoulders, casting a small smile. He should really introduce himself so he didn't spill out that he was lost. What an idiot would he look like then? Afterall he was just following the scareon aimlessly.
"I'm Daisuke." He offered out his palm politely with an agreeable nod. "Me too. Even in the afternoon it's a tight squeeze with homework and whatnot. Guess were just suckers for our pets." The wisp laughed lightly.
Airi thought so too giving him a 'your wrapped around my little finger' look, as her expression saddened, then formed in to a pout at the ghoul taking her chicken away from her. She wandered around her legs 'purring' at a persuasion attempt.
"How come you came all the way out here?" He asked, curiously. Or was this her secret second home? Maybe even her treasure nest? Or she could just be taking her pet out on a long walk... There were many possibilities, after a few inward guesses he just waited for the actual answer.

Tahki smiled down as the cat weaved its way through her legs but kept her chick safely out of reach. She was half feline her self too and wouldn't trust one around a bird.
"I am a sucker for my pet," She eyed Choco Choco who seemed to be quite unhappy to be away from his new feline friend. Tahki couldn't help but snicker at the squirming little thing.
"I.. actually followed Choco Choco down here... he ... he found this though," She opened the palm of her hand to reveal the shiny stone her bird had found. "I don't know if he knew it was down here or if it was luck but..."
Oh she was being social right now wasn't she. All of a sudden embarrassment started to creep in. She was talking to some one so unguarded! How did this happen?
The panic would have showed on her face if she did not shyly look at her feet as if all a sudden there was something interesting about them.

Well they certainly started to sound more and more a like. It stunned him momentarily, as he simply stared at her with an awkward, very relieved yet glad kind of smile. She had taken her pet out, followed it. Same thing had happened with him and Airi. As she continued to talk, he couldn't help but track every word she said naturally. Attention falling quickly to the out stretched hand and shiny object.
How fascinating. His eyes lit up, excitement filling them. It was unnaturally shiny, any one could see that and with that brought many eager thoughts on where it came from. Was that an ability of hers, or was luck just really on all of her kins side?
"What a really pretty stone." He smiled, leaning closer to get a better look. "Lady luck must be on your side. We should look it up, see what it is! It could be valuable, or ancient. You never know~" He noticed he said -we- without thinking. This was her personal find, what was he doing! When she looked away his gaze kind of faltered to her own, then he straightened and backed up, away once more. He, didn't want to make her feel awkward or was it something he said? He sighed. Daisuke, you really are a clutz. He looked to the side with a pang of guilt.
"Mhmm. . . Sorry, was it something I said?" He offered her a warm apologetic smile looking back to her again.
Airi sat after her prowl around the tall birdy ghoul and glanced between their fumbling and embarrassment. She tilted her head, she didn't understand these creatures much. All she knew was, she wanted her yellow little chickie friend back! Hmpth.

The females cheeks were bright red from her embarrassment, "No no no... I just never really got the chance to talk to many boils growing up.. honestly this is the first time I've been around so many teenagers near my own age..." Wow she was being open. But Daisuke seemed really easy to talk to. At least so far.
"T-treasures something that is in my blood I guess. I didn't find this though," She gestured toward Choco Choco who had some how found his way to the top of Tahki's head and was now happily perched on her headphones. "This guy started off and found it randomly. I suppose its his luck."
Tahki hadn't read into the we statement. She took it for what it was. Offer to help out when help was needed. Tahki didn't know what type of rock her bird had just found but she hoped Choco Choco would find more.
On a serious note, she'd be buying him a leash in the near future to prevent him from randomly wandering off. There were plenty of things that probably could and would eat him. The gryphon couldn't help but glance over at Airi every once in a while with worry.

Now he felt silly but he couldn't help but a break a smile. "I get how that is. Your not on your own believe me." He offered her the same comforting smile from the classroom before stepping closer, now he didn't fear the awkwardness that really was non existent. He raised his hand to gently pet the yellow chocobo on the head.
"Good work, Choco Choco. Be sure to find many more treasures. You'll make one happy Tahki." He chuckled playfully, winking at her which earned him a paw from the creature at their feet. Looking down he brushed the back of his hair with his palm.
"Alright, alright." Leaning down he watched as she tried to clamber in to his arms, having to eyeroll at the antics, he carefully embraced her and stood again. Again, she was happy once more, a wide pearly smile slipping across her maw.
"Suppose we could always go on a treasure hunt." However with no regards to time, with being a wisp it might of been ticking too late, either that or he could always walk her back to her dorm. He didn't want her getting lost or hurt, that would just be his luck. Hopefully hers would counter it out.
"But maybe that would be best saved for another time?" He wondered, honestly, he wished they could. She was a really sweet ghoul and he really was enjoying her company but with all the bad things everyone had been spouting about detention, something just screamed 'bad idea, don't go there.'

Tahki smiled as the boil chatted her Chocobo up. The little chick was happy to be chat up as it proudly perched on its mothers head. Choco Choco was happy to hear it could please Tahki.
"Treasure hunting sounds fun. My families more in the guarding business...errr now a days I suppose thats banking but really its the same thing... " She lifted Choco Choco from her head and wrapped her arms around him.
"I think.. we best be going now." She blushed, "Its starting to get late and I have some homework. Maybe some time we can hang out ...." Tahki handed Daisuke the stone, "Here. You can have it."

He wondered if he'd done something wrong for a moment there, seeing her eagerness to go, but she was right, it was getting late by the looks of things and she had stuff to do. He looked down as she passed him the stone and he took it was an odd, blank look to it. She was giving it to him? Why? He broke a small collected smile and nodded. "Thanks."
Airi pouted hearing that they had to leave and tried to reach her paw out to the chicken in the ghouls arms but with no luck as her owner stepped back and stood to the side a little.
"Well, I guess I'll catch ya later Tahki." He dropped Airi, watching her land on four paws in a graceful manor, leaping a head and staring back at him to hurry up. She had no patience when it came to decisions being made. With one last wave he tucked the stone in to his pocket. Pausing a moment as he looked at her. "You're right. We should hang out. Sometime." Agreed, he turned around to set off following Airi through the maze of the forest. Bet the monsters got a kick out of this place. . .

Tahki gave the ghost boy a wave as he set off back to his dorm. She hoped that they'd meet some time again. He seemed nice and a lover of treasure.
Choco Choco squirmed in her arms restlessly. Oh right, she needed to go back soon before the little guy escaped again. She spread her wings and gracefully took off back toward the monster dorms. Some times having wings had its advantages.
Choco Choco was not pleased to be soaring in the skies and protested all the way back. The little chick did not dare try to wiggle out of Tahki's arms.
