Personality: Quiet, dedicated to his planet's emperor, zealous.
History: Marcus was born on the planet Terra to the royal family of the immortal God-Emperor. However, unlike many blood sons of the Emperor who took on roles in their lives as nobleman and planetary governors, Marcus trained since his childhood for battle. Some said that he was born bearing a birthmark that looked like the Crux Terminatus on his body, but this is only a myth. When he reached the age of twenty, he fell upon the feet of his father the Emperor and begged to join the Space Marines. Glad to have such devotion among offspring and a possibility as the next heir, Marcus was granted his request. He was immediatly drafted into the 10th Division scout corps as an initiate, at his request refusing an automatic assignment to captain. Marcus proved himself through training, devotion, and his survival of the bio-transplant to be a top tier space marine. He joined the 11th division desert unit known as the "Hunters of Torlak" for their tan and brown color patterns they wear on the desert planet.
Captaining his ship, the "Angel of Retribution," Marcus was seperated from his crew and division during an assault by Chaos Marines in a warp jump. He now finds himself on a mysterious planet in a completely different galaxy and with no way of contacting Terra.
