It was so weird to be wearing shirts with sleeves again. Evari wasn't sure she liked it anymore. Ugh. It felt so weird! Oh well, it could be weirder...she could be pregnant like some people she knew. Evari stopped in the middle of the aisle of candy and sighed, putting the heel of her hand to her forehead and closing her eyes. Quit that. She's..she's your friend. Accidents happen. Damn was she glad she didn't have any accidents with Kay, she'd be so mad. About as mad as she was at this father of Victoria's pregnancy. She was so going to kick his a** if she found out who he was.
But no more thinking about that! Evari was here to get candy, and lots of it. Tyyne had never experienced Halloween before and so she wanted her to have the best Halloween she could give her, complete with lots and lots of candy and costumes! They'd get the costumes after the candy; Evari had her priorities. She stopped at a bin with a small scooper and a lid, peering into it to find it was filled with gummi worms. Oooh! Those looked good! Evari looked around, peering down each end of the aisle before she quietly lifted the little flap in the lid, stealing one gummi worm and quickly eating it. Hmmm? What? Candy? What candy? There was no candy in her mouth. She chewed on it as discreetly as she could, walking along to find something else to look at.
Well, yes, it was Halloween. That meant he needed to get Candy for the eventual trick or treaters. Which was cool, he needed to leave the house. There was an awful lot of pressure around there, and not all because of his little accident, surprise surprise. So he'd more than happily taken the job of getting the candy, and once he stepped into the place he was looking around, both wasting his time and trying to find good stuff. That was, of course, when he spotted Evari. She'd just finished looking this way and that, and he stared from where he was as she stole a piece. Wow, that makes two female thieves he knew of! Bug was a lot younger though. As nonchalantly as possible and as quietly as his flip flops would let him (damn no shirt no shoe policy), he fixed his open white dress shirt, tucked his hands into his capris pockets and wandered after her. "I saw that, you know."
She heard the flipflops but thought nothing of it since hey, it wasn't as warm as summer but it wasn't freezing yet. It was the voice that got her attention though, her glow brightening and her eyes widening as she whipped her head around to see the owner of the voice she knew very well. Evari's body soon followed suit as she smiled brightly, swallowing the worm and tilting her head. "Saw what~? I don't know what you're talking about." She grinned after that, putting her hands on her hips and raising a brow. "What're ya gonna do about it? Punish me?" Oh the horrors, to be punished by Kay. Besides, he had no proof. Maybe she considered it but didn't actually do it. Ha. It was his word against hers anyway.
Kay grinned back at her, very happy to see her glowing. The last time he came across a girl he's slept with...didn't end well. Though he couldn't resist glancing down just to make sure she wasn't, ah, hiding something from him. What? He was paranoid now! Pleased with the view and lack of surprises, he wandered on over, inwardly very displeased at the shirt. It wasn't cold enough for him to resort to more clothes, but store policy was store policy. "Sneak a treat." He informed her with an innocent hum, his brow lifting and his head tilting in a cocky manner. "I could, you know. It wouldn't be too terribly hard." Shrugging, he looked over his shoulder at the rest of the empty store, then back to Evari. "So what's new?"
Evari blinked and followed his gaze down her body, assuming that it kept going to check her out entirely. What? She looked exactly the same as she always did! Sure she was wearing a tight black hoodie with a pair of gargoyles on it, but that was the only thing different. She was thin, she had eye-gougingly bright leggings that didn't match, legwarmers, a miniskirt, sneakers...makeup...what would be different? Though maybe it was the hoodie he was looking at. She didn't wear them often...but this one had gargoyles on it. For some reason she just couldn't resist. Heh. "Oooh is that all?" Evari looked Kay up and down as well, it was only fair since he did the same for her! Wait...he was wearing a shirt? "Wooooow. I don't think I've ever seen you wear a shirt." Evari laughed, stepping close to walk her fingers up his chest. He looked so much different with a shirt on! His little comment made her smirk, her fingers lightly brushing up his neck and along his jaw until she was tracing his lips with one finger. "You're welcome to try anytime." She purred, chuckling after and giving a little shrug at his question. New? Weeeeell...! Hm. What was new and newsworthy in her life?
"Weeeeell...hm...Iiiii called up that Jasmine girl." She grinned proudly. "She's really good in bed. And she started it, I barely had to do anything...uh...been seeing some girls. Really pretty ones. Whoa! Hey...Tyyne called me a b***h!" Evari actually sounded impressed, since now that it was all said and done she could laugh about it. "And I'm thinkin' 'bout learning guitar.." Was there anything else? Her face went dark for a moment and her glow dimmed. Did...Kay know about...? "A-and...Vi..er..." She shook her head and smiled again. "And that's it for me. What about you?" Evari asked curiously, leaning forward to drape her arms over his shoulders and give him a sweet greeting kiss. She could, right? That was okay? She did it with Victoria!
Kay sighed. "I don't LIKE wearing shirts, that's why. But most stores, this one included, has one of those stupid policies. Winter's coming though, you might see me in sweaters soon." Despite his grumbling, he feigned interest by making surprisingly sarcastic jazzhands. Still, he was tempted right now...but a certain and rather sudden thought held him back, and he just grinned. Too bad, really. He did promise. "Glad to hear it, I figured you'd like her. Wow, Tyyne knows that language? The hell've you been teaching her?" He really had no opinion on the Guitar but, but he hummed thoughtfully...and the unfinished part caught his attention. "Vi-er? Gonna have to elaborate there." He seemed surprised to find her arms around him, and even further still to find her lips on his. Something he couldn't resist returning, actually. So much for his promise. "I'm alright, Family's tough right now, Quint tried to beat me...er..."
He'd knocked up Victoria but hadn't seen her since she told him? Nah, that would get left out. But there was one thing though...placing his hands on her waist, he regretfully and lightly pushed her away from him. "I...have a girlfriend?" Monogamy was an idea he was not used to or keen on.
"They don't suit you. Oooh! Candy could wait until later and we could go get rid of that shirt for you for a little while?" Evari whispered excitedly, her eyes wide. She chuckled and nodded at his surprised about Tyyne, giving a little shrug at his question. "I...kind of...well I deserved it. She actually gave me quite a verbal beating, I deserved every bit of it though. Eh." Evari tilted her head a little, her eyes briefly turning down. He wasn't holding her back? Why? Last time he was more than happy to hold her and then some! Elaborate? On wha--oh. Oh right, she'd started but hadn't finished what she said. Evari chuckled almost sadly and shook her head. "It's...nothing...I just..I'm just selfish." She was glad the kiss was returned, settling the worries that had begun to bubble up from him not holding her. "Tough? Oh no, why?" Quint trying to beat him up didn't really surprise her. He'd told her they fought, after all!
...Wait...what?
Evari's eyes widened and her jaw dropped, only moving because she was too dumbfounded to put up any kind of resistance. He..he what? But...but why?! First Victoria now...Kay? But why?! That wasn't fair! Her jaw quivered a little and she stuffed her hands into the pockets of her sweater, swallowing hard as her glow dimmed once again. "O-oh? Wow...uh...w-who's...the...lucky girl?" <********>. ******** said! He'd said he wanted to have fun! Why did he have to go and...th-that wasn't fair!
"Lotsa reasons, really." Kay moved one hand to scratch his scarred side under the shirt, feeling a little uncomfortable and really hoping the subject changed. Soon. "Eh, everyone can be selfish, lord knows I am." He was, really, really was. That was why it didn't surprise him to see the look on her face and the way she acted; he was well aware of what he had told her. But, in the end, he wanted this girl, and the only way to get her was to date her; on her request of course. He shifted a bit when Evari let him go, his hands lingering for a little longer around her waist before letting her go completely. "Roxy." He informed her, his words echoed by a hiss from Nahual. The serpent didn't like that girl, then again he didn't like any girl that accidentally pulled on him. "Iiiit's recent, haven't gotten used to the whole Monogamy thing. But...she knows what I'm like, and so long as I tell her she says it's okay. Still...it's weird."
Roxy...Roxy...ROXY?! Evari's glow brightened, but not with happiness. Her fists clenched in her pockets and she forced a very strained smile. That...she...she liked that thieving little...argh! Why?! She..she ********! Evari took in and let out a shuddering breath, giving a curt little nod at his words. Ah. Right. Cool. Whatever. Yeah. "H-how nice." That girl...that girl was younger than her. She just knew it. Which meant Kay was hers first...that thieving little b***h. Her glow flared once again before it dimmed until it was nearly gone, but Evari was blatantly ignoring it. She never did like her body betraying her. She wished she had better control over it. "That's just great. First ******** dumbass knocks up Vi-Victoria and now..I..." One of Evari's hands suddenly whipped out of her pocket like she was going to hit something, shakily running it through her hair instead. She'd lost two. She was not going to lose her last and most dearest person. She didn't have many friends, she knew she didn't. In fact the only people Evari was sure were her definite friends...were Faris...Kay and Tori. And now people were taking them away from her. "I-I'm happy for you." She forced out, pursing her lips and turning her eyes away so he couldn't see them.
Kay watched her little glow outburst with surprise clear on his face. Whoa, a bit of an over react to the news, wasn't it? He had, in a roundabout way, explained that they didn't really need to stop having fun if she really wanted to; well, he didn't say so, but it was implied. He adored Roxy, almost to the point of love, but he couldn't just yet focus just on her. He was about to say something when Evari started talking, but he quickly shut his mouth. O-oh great, Evari's seen Tori. But wait, Tori didn't explain...? Well, that explained a lot. Clearing his throat a bit, he looked away from her, finding the wall of candies very, very interesting. Irresponsible dumbass indeed. Not the first time he'd heard it, really. Probably wouldn't be the last. When she sputtered out her last comment and looked away, he looked back to her again, stepping closer to try and urge her hands from her pockets.
"'Vari, just because I have a Girlfriend doesn't mean we can't still be friends, you know." Ooone situation at a time, yes. The other bomb could be dropped later.
She was thrown off by a name only Faris had ever called her, not putting up much resistance to her hands being grabbed and pulled. Evari stared at Kay in dismay, blinking back tears as much as she could. While that was true...she still heard more about Roxy and Kay together as it was, and she herself barely ever got to see him already. It wasn't fair. It wasn't fair, it wasn't fair, it wasn't fair. She didn't feel that way about him, but what if she did, huh?! Wh-what if she had? "Y-you're going to want to spend mostly all your ti-time with her, though." That thieving b***h. How dare she. She bit her lip, sniffling. "Kay...I...don't have many friends...a-and now...eve..everyone's taking them away from me..." Evari didn't pull herself from him but she did tug on her arm in a way that said she wanted to lift it, leaning her head down to rub at her eyes with her wrists. It wasn't fair. It wasn't fair at all.
Kay made a tsking noise, and briefly waved his hand in dismissal. "I see her every day, and that hasn't changed since the day we met. She kind of lives in the shop, you know. It's not going to change anything, I don't see it being too much of a change really, not in the immediate future." Buuut one day he'd have to smarten up, he knew that. In fact, there were a lot of hints in his life now that was starting to demand a change in mentality. A lot of them. He loosened his grasp when she went to rub her eyes, but only for a moment. Once she was done, he grabbed her wrist and pulled, turning to urge her outside. Yeah, there was no way he was telling her anymore inside the store. He'd bring her outside first, a safe distance from the candy shop. If she refused, well he'd just have to try harder, but if she let him, he took her outside, and then went quiet, really not sure how to say this...
Evari's eyes widened and she gasped. Now it made sense. It all made sense now. She...how did Evari never know!? Had she planned it or something? That b***h...that...that b***h. If she ever saw her again..ooooh was she going to get it. Her glow flared again, though not as brightly, until it dimmed once more. She blinked back more tears and stumbled a bit as she was suddenly pulled through the aisle and out of the store. Well! Good thing she hadn't been holding any candy or they'd be in so much trouble! When they stopped Evari was also quiet, just staring at him. Why was he acting even weirder now? What? Did he think she was going to flip out? Pff, she'd learned to contain her anger since the last time he saw her cry! Though she was trying really, really hard not to cry this time. But what. What was he doing now. If he had more 'glorious' news for her he'd better spit it out. "Kay...?" She brushed the back of her hand against the cheek that wasn't plated with any skull, cupping his face after and looking over his face. What now? There had to be more...did he have regrets about this relationship and didn't want anyone in the other aisles, if there was anyone, to overhear? Oh! Ohoh! Did he want her to help break them up? She'd gladly do that! Though somehow she doubted that was it. A girl could hope?
Kay had made sure she wasn't holding anything when he oh so briskly escorted her out of the store. For a moment he let her touch his face, brush his skin; he closed his eyes, enjoying the feel. He always did like that; female hands were so soft. Soon he reached up, wrapping his calloused hands around her wrists, pulling her hands from his face lightly; he didn't really want her punching him, he'd had enough of that lately. Taking a deep breath, he released it in a wavering sigh, finding the ground very interesting for a moment. Ugh, he hated this; why did he have to be honest, why?! When he was ready, he lifted his gaze to meet hers, his hands still holding her wrists. "...I...I'm the Irresponsible Dumbass..."
She quirked the tiniest smile when he closed his eyes, tracing the scars on his face and neck; she'd noticed before that it always seemed to garner a very nice reaction from him. He liked it, right? Did she know he liked his scars being kissed and touched? Hm? Well? Did she? She blinked and looked at their hands again when he held onto hers, looking very confused now. What? What was it? Evari waited quietly for once, her brow furrowing with worry the longer it took him to spit it out. Come on, Kay. You just dropped a huge bombshell on Evari. What could possibly be worse than hearing the first person she ever made friends with, her first 'lover', someone who was second only to Faris in Evari's heart, was doing that 'monogamy' bullshit despite everything he'd said?
Oh...apparently there was something bigger! Evari's glow dissipated completely until she looked like just about any other girl. Not a hint of glow to her. Not even a red tint. He was kidding...no...no, why would he do that. That wasn't something you joke about. Evari's fists clenched, she growled, tugging as hard as she could against his grasp. "You DUMBASS!" Evari cried, the tears finally winning the battle. "How co-could you do th-a-that?! Y-you IDIOT!" It was a damn good thing she wasn't pregnant! Hell, even if she had been she'd have been very quick to take care of that! She wouldn't do that Victoria had done. No way. She couldn't do that. She had sworn she would kick this ******** a** so hard he'd be a stain on the concrete. She'd promised herself. She would kill him if she had to. But...but it was Kay...she couldn't do that to Kay! She whimpered and leaned forward despite that making her do something very uncomfortable with her arms, pretty sure they're not supposed to bend in that direction, but she really doubted Kay would let go of her or let her hands near his body right now. Instead she buried his face into his shoulder, just hanging there in that very uncomfortable position. Why? Why did this have to happen? It was like they were leaving her...sure he'd said they'd still be friends a-and that they could still fool around but...but he wouldn't want to do those things with her anymore. She was sure of it.
Kay flinched when she started to react, his grip on her wrists tightening for now. She could punch him later, he didn't want her hands near him until the news had somewhat settled. His muscled tensed when she leaned in, but he relaxed again when she was just putting her head on his shoulder. That didn't mean he was going to let her go, but at least it was nice to know she wasn't going to headbutt or bite him. "I couldn't get a word in with her! I don't want kids yet! When she told me she started going off about how she was going to do it alone and that she didn't expect, need or want my help! If I'd've gotten a word in edgewise I would have asked her to get rid of it...but she insisted. What else was I supposed to do?" He sounded hurt; people failed to realize that he didn't get a say in this. It took two to tango, they tangoed, Victoria got Pregnant but aside from letting him see the eventual Babies, didn't actually let him put in his two cents on it. Yet, somehow, her being pregnant was still his fault. It hurt, even way more than the occasional smack from Quint.
Evari whined and tugged at her hands merely because the position she was in was uncomfortable and straining her arms a bit. She...she wasn't going to hurt him...too much. But she listened to his words quietly, her shoulder shaking a little as she tried desperately to calm down. But seriously, what did you expect when you tell someone bad news...twice in less than five minutes? He...didn't even want the kids? "She didn't tell me anything...just...saw it and...she told me she was pregnant an-and..." She frowned, tugging harder at her hands. So he didn't even want the kids. Well then why the hell was he so stupid as to let Tori get pregnant in the first place? Dumbass. Stupid idiot. But...that was really selfish of Victoria. Really selfish. She winced at his tone though, going still for a bit. She knew Victoria could be selfish but...that...that was just cruel. To have someone's children, tell them, but then not even let them have a word in edge wise? And not even let them help if they decided they wanted to? Here she'd thought Victoria was doing everything on her own because she had no choice, because whoever had gotten her pregnant was some douchebag who skipped town or something. Her heart sank even more than it already felt like it had. "Let go." Evari said quietly, not lifting her head from his shoulder but very tempted to step on his foot or something if he didn't let her go right now. Oh...wait...stepping on his foot wouldn't do anything...maybe if she kneed him, maybe he'd let go then.
Despite the fact he'd told her that she couldn't expect him to be a dedicated Father, or even a mildly attentive one, it still struck him as unfair that he didn't have a choice. He stood there, holding Evari's wrists with his gaze lowered to the ground. It was only a mild interest of his to watch Evari calm down more or less, but he didn't let her go until she asked. He had a feeling she might still hit him, but he didn't flinch or tense. He deserved it, in some small part, but he still insisted that he wasn't the only one to blame, and that child coming in to this world was by no means his fault. It stopped being his fault when Victoria didn't give him a choice.
She waited, and she waited, and she waited some more until he finally let her go. Her hands fell to her sides and she just stood against him for a moment, trying to decide what to do. Evari was still pissed off from earlier, she was still angry, she still wanted to hit something...anything...but she just couldn't bring herself to do it. She couldn't bring herself to hit Kay again, last time had been an accident and she'd felt so badly for doing it, there was no way she could do it purposely. Suddenly her arms came up to instead hold him, one wrapping around his neck and the other burying in his hair at the back of his head, kissing at his neck a few times as she buried her face against it. "I'msorry...I'm so sorry..." She whimpered, holding him tightly. There was no way she would just accept he was doing that 'monogamy' bullshit, no way at all; she'd just...pretend he wasn't. Roxy didn't exist. ******** her, she didn't exist at all. Kay was hers, not that thieving little...b***h's. "I-I'm sorry, I didn't know she...gave you no choice..." Evari said quietly, planting another kiss against his neck. "She woul-wouldn't tell me...who the father was...said she was fine doing everything on'er'own." She held him tighter. "She um...she had twins, y'know...I don't remember their names're nothin' but...she had them..."
Well, he wasn't expecting that! His eye widened for a moment, but he did submit and drape his arms around her waist in return. He didn't do anything about the kisses to his neck, but it was better received than the punch that he was expecting. When she started to apologize his arms tightened around her, holding her close.
"It's not your fault. But Thank you." It was nice to be apologized to; nobody else really did. But the news made him tense. He stopped, his eye wide. Twins. Twins. Two. Not one. Two. There were two. Two Babies. His heart constricted before reviving to pound against his chest. "...T-twins?" He uttered breathlessly, as though it was hard for him to say. A new wave of emotion hit him then, something more along the lines of joy...but still heavily drenched with pain. Victoria had twins, and someone else knew before he did.
He should have expected that.
"You...have you seen them?" If she had, and she didn't know who the Father was, then they mustn't look much like him at all.
Evari didn't mind when he held her tighter, the action merely making her press closer to him. She wasn't letting him go, she refused to let him go unless he forced her off him himself. It was weird to be thanked for apologizing, but she'd take it. She truly was sorry, she meant every word she ever said and this was no exception. She was sorry she hurt him, she was sorry she was selfish, she was sorry she wanted to beat him into the ground until he was nothing but a stain of what he once was, she was sorry she picked sides and assumed things without knowing the whole story...she didn't want to lose her friend. She didn't want to lose any of her friends. Not a one. And she especially didn't want them taken from her.
"Yes, twins. Like I said...I don't remember their names, they were really weird ones." Evari gave a short chuckle at that, giving his shoulder a squeeze and massaging his scalp a bit. So he really didn't know...that sucked. She felt even worse now, being the one to tell Kay about his own children and him not finding out on his own. That wasn't fair, not to Kay. How could Victoria do that to him? Weren't they friends? Didn't she care about him at all? How could...why did she...even Evari wasn't that cruel.
Evari shook her head at his question and lifted her head, rubbing her lips together for a moment before looking up at him. She felt even worse, like the guilt for her behavior was stabbing at her heart and her stomach. As far as she cared Kay was as single as the last time she saw him. He was. She pushed down on his head enough so their foreheads were touching, not intending on kissing him just wanting to keep close to him. Again, she refused to let him go. "I haven't seen them, no. I found out by word of mouth from her family...I...admittedly I'm kind of scared to go see them. To see her, actually." Evari chuckled sadly. "I imagine it's nothing like how you feel and stuff, but I'm just having a hard time accepting it...not really a fan of kids, they're awkward for me to be around."
Wow. Twins. Boys? Girls? Both? He was curious about the pair he'd Fathered. He let Evari move him as she wanted to, still in the shock of the news. The teen's eye was unfocused, half listening to Evari and half off in his own little world. How couldn't he be? This was big for him. So very big. Word of mouth, that made sense. It made him feel a little better, but yes he wanted to see them still. Part of him had hoped she would have at least told him when she was due.
But what could he expect, he wasn't going to be in their lives anyway.
Still.
"I love kids...just not sure how I'll react to, you know, my own." He murmured quietly, closing his eye and resting his head against hers.
It was fine that he wasn't all there, she really couldn't fault him for it. In fact it was kind of amusing to see him so unfocused like that, were the situation any different she would have even laughed! But for now she just let him have a bit of a moment, closing her eyes and sliding both hands down to rub at his shoulders in a comforting manner. How could Victoria not let Kay see his own children? If it hadn't been for Kay she wouldn't even have them! It seemed so cruel, but she didn't say anything about it. Evari gave a tiny giggle at Kay's words and smiled a bit, nodding and nuzzling her head against his. "I'd say I understand but that'd be a lie~. If it'd happened to me I...I wouldn't have..." She wouldn't have had them. No way. Evari was not mother material, she was too selfish, there was no way she could handle the responsibility of being pregnant much less having and raising children. She went quiet for a few minutes, hugging herself against Kay again. He may have told her some shitty news, but even Evari knew finding out you were the father of twins you had never even met was just a tad bit more serious~. Okay, maybe more than a tad.
"...Hey...wanna...go to my house and hang out for a bit?" They could find some way to cheer themselves and each other up. Maybe Kay could help her think up some kind of costume for herself before she went shopping with Tyyne! And it'd be nice to sit and not just stand here in the middle of the street; Evari wanted to be able to let out her frustrations about all this, sure...but she could wait. There was no way in hell she was letting Kay leave her for awhile. And hey! He'd said things were tough at home, right? The longer he stayed away the better! He could even sleep over at her house if he wanted! She'd done it with Faris, she'd done it with Victoria...nothing wrong with Kay spending the night with her. "I'm sure you wanna get out of that stupid shirt, right?" Evari teased in an attempt to cheer Kay up a little, giving him a hopeful smile and playfully nudging his head with her own.
"I know. It's not even a matter of wanting them; I do want them. But not now. We're both so young, and it's not fair to those kids and...just...ugh why would she do this?" Kay groaned, lifting his hands from her to smack his face, clawing his fingers down his face, even the skull half. Victoria was so stupid; sure they'd been stupid together, but she took it to a whole new, unhappy level. His hands settled on her waist again with a heavy sigh.
"Sure, that's fine. I don't want to go home anyway." He admitted with a shrug; he didn't really care about her motives and which way they went, all in all he was just looking for something distracting. He was still going to try doing the monogamy thing, but he wouldn't be opposed if one thing lead to the next; he felt guilty for sleeping with Roxy too, but that was due to an age gap between them.
"I do want out of this stupid shirt. And these sandals. I'll be much happier when they change rules, and when it doesn't snow." Nodding a bit, he returned her headbutt with a little chuckle, then moved to let her go again. "Lead the way, madame."
Evari bit her lip nervously as she watched Kay tear himself up over this, honestly unsure of how to help him now. She reached out to hold his wrists as he dragged his nails down his face, pausing to instead let them settle at her waist. She liked that, she loved when she was held by someone in an affectionate or at least comfortable manner. Not when someone picked her up without asking...that a*****e. Evari leaned in to give him a gentle kiss against his chin, squeezing his shoulders affectionately. She was glad he was coming with her! Very glad indeed.
"Yeah, but if they changed the rules then people we don't want to see shirtless will think it's okay for them to not wear a shirt too." Evari reminded him with a little shudder, reaching down to poke and tickle at his stomach. "Luckily you're not one of 'em."
The chuckle made her smile, glad to hear some kind of amusement from him. It meant he was cheering up! This was a very good thing. It was what she wanted. Evari reached out to link arms with him, just craving any kind of touch at this point. "Alright, alright. I warn you...eh...my room's...not what anyone would expect." She chuckled, walking in the direction of home with him. Her room was boring in her opinion, but she did her best to personalize it and make it how she liked given the limitations of the house itself. Sigh. "I wonder what your room looks like~." She said with a smirk, nudging him with her hip as they walked.
"Eh, you don't have to look. It would make me happy." Shrugging, he flinched a bit at the tickly, smacking her hand away; not because he was outright ticklish, but because it was a reflex, more or less. He used to be ticklish, until he got used to people touching him. Now it was just a habit. He easily linked arms with her and headed out, following her with a little hum.
"Why, is it covered with lace? Or does it look like an insane asylum?" He questioned with a quirk of his brow. When she asked him about his room, he thought about it for a moment or two. What did his room look like? Well.. "It's Clean on one half, obnoxiously messy on the other, and it has a Quint in it. My room isn't that impressive, and there isn't much to see." Shrugging again, he slid his free hand into his pocket, waiting for her house to at least come in sight.
"Don't have to look, but it'd be like...a train wreck. One of those things that you don't want to look at but you just can't look away." Evari shuddered a little, swatting at his hand as he swat at hers. Heeeeey! No fun! But she only did it once, getting the hint with the one smack.
Evari snorted and rolled her eyes at his suggestions on what her room must have looked like. "If only! It's boring." Evari said with a sigh, her free hand burying itself into her hair and giving it a little shake. "Xai's...not from here, so her house is like this giant friggin' computer. So I can't paint the walls, I can only put something on them if she approves the spot, I mean I can at least have any other decoration I want but eh..." Evari blinked at his own description, tilting her head a little. He shared his room with his brother? Aw, man! That must have sucked! Evari could barely stand sharing her home with Tyyne before! Imagine how she would have reacted if Xai had told her she'd have to share her room? Hell would have hath no fury like an Evari scorned, it was bad enough just having her at all. "My floor's kind of a mess. I don't bring girls to my house, one of my rules~. Soooo...I usually just toss my clothes on the floor when I'm done with them until laundry day." Not that it was a big deal. So Kay would see a few bras and some panties lying around...he'd seen her naked. Luckily she didn't live too far from this candy store, digging into her pocket for her key as they eventually walked up the front walkway to the house. "Y'knooow...I think you might be the first person I've ever brought past the front door. Huh...weird." She mused mostly to herself, making this admittedly random observation as she unlocked the door and led Kay inside. The lights turned on when they sensed someone in the house, telling her neither Xai nor Tyyne were home with that simple gesture. Awesome. "Sooooo want a tour or just t'get to my room?" Not like it was a huge house to give a tour of. Evari pulled off her sneakers with her feet, unzipping her hoodie to reveal...a bikini. What? Just because she had a hoodie didn't mean she had to wear a friggin' t-shirt!
