Name: Blake Reeves Appearance Age: 25 Actual Age: 136 Gender: Male Sexuality: Heterosexual Personality: Blake is an interesting character to say the least. He prefers to relax and joke around that do anything that remotely resembles work to him and has a bad habit of procrastinating until the last possible minute. Interaction-wise he’s a talkative guy, but this a double edged sword as he can be quite tactless at times, even going so far as to blatantly insult his opponents during combat. This is the cause of his severe case of what others see as foot-in-mouth syndrome, though he is either too uncaring or blind to it to do anything about it. He is an intellectual, but he is by no means a super genius and is very aware of this fact. All around he is a likeable person.
Bio: Blake Reeves was a started out as a simple American boy born in New York City with a healthy love for inventing. He was lucky enough to land a job as an errand boy for Nikola Tesla and eventually, through dogged determination, managed to convince the scientist to take him on as one of his lab apprentices. Blake worked under Tesla for years, evening opting to follow his teacher across country to his new lab in Colorado. Everything went well until one fateful day in 1899 when, due to a grounding error during the test of the magnifying transmitter at the lab, Blake was electrocuted and killed instantly. Blake awoke in Soul Society confused and bewildered. He spent nearly a year just trying to wrap his mind around what happened and what he was going to do next. It was during this time that he also began showing signs of having Shinigami powers through spontaneous lightning discharges, though he believed it to only be a relic from his death. He eventually decided to enter the academy so that he may control this strange new power of his. Fast learner that he was, Blake excelled in all his classes and his charisma left him with no lack of friends. Once he graduated he quickly rose through the ranks of his squad becoming a Lieutenant upon which he continued to perform with a mark of excellence. This is why when the Seireitei obtained knowledge that the Axis powers were using the Reima clan’s Hollow binding technique which had been passed down through Japan’s royal family since the Sengoku era to make Hollow-Nazi super soldiers he was appointed captain of the temporary 14th Allied Support Division that was sent to the real world to support the Allies in their fight as normal humans stood no chance against such creatures. The 14th Division fought valiantly during World War II alongside a squad of human mediums that allowed them to communicate with the Allied generals, turning the tide of many battles and bringing victory where without them the Allies were sure to suffer a swift and crushing defeat. Indeed had they not gone in and cleaned out the group of Hollowfied super-soldiers guarding the coast of Normandy, Operation Overlord and most notably the D-Day landings would have been a complete failure. After D-Day, the 14th Division quickly made it’s where to Berlin where they came face to face with Hilter himself who had bound so many Hollow to his body he was now an Adjuchas class hollow. Together the Division quickly cornered Hitler however, before the finishing blow could be dealt in a fit of desperation, he consumed his own wife Eva Braun, who had a number of powerful Hollow bound to her as well. This boosted Hilter’s power to Vasto Lorde class and he quickly regained the upper hand. Deciding that there was no point in having his subordinates die fighting a demon they couldn’t hope to possibly defeat, Blake ordered the rest of the 14th to return to Soul Society and request immediate assistance while he kept Hitler busy. Shorty after they left, Blake managed to get the upper hand and finally slay Hitler, but not without severe damage to himself as well. He was found by the mediums near death. They managed to save him, though Blake was stricken with amnesia after the incident. The mediums brought him back to America where he was stationed to the research facility Area 51 as a secret weapon against supernatural attacks. Due to his and Hiltler’s absence upon the reinforcement’s return to the battle sight, it was assumed that they had killed each other by the Seireitei and Blake was given a funeral while the 14th Division itself was disbanded. Blake continued to live on, however, concealed behind a web of government secrets and lies. During his time in Area 51 his love for knowledge and technology arose once again and he began to wonder if it were possible to use technology to increase the power of his own Zanpakuto. After many long years of trial and error he managed to perfect the process opening the gateway to a new level of power. It was around this time that his memories slowly began to come back as well. His returning memories of his exploits with the 14th Divison during WWII caused him to develop a fondness for reading the Captain America comic series most notably The Invaders as Captain America is a loose interpretation of himself, no doubt an amalgamation of soldiers’ rumors which caused the discrepancies, and the rest of the Invaders team was the other 14th Division members to a T. He has yet to fully regain his memories of Soul Society, but when he met Hei, Nu, and Tsukiko he joined up with them in hopes that being with other Shinigami once again would restore the rest of his lost memories.

Zanpakutō Sealed Form Appearance: Blake’s sealed Zanpakuto actually has two forms that he can switch freely between. It can either be a motorcycle or an android he has dubbed ERIS (External Representation of Internal Spirit) because she is the full worldly manifestation of his Zanpakuto’s spirit, albeit in a more human form than the internal version of herself. Being that she is his Zanpakuto spirit, ERIS can read Blake’s mind, although he can’t read hers, allowing them to attack an opponent as a fluid pair and her ability to turn into a motorcycle at will adds an extra level of chaos to keep the opponent on the defensive. ERIS, MotorcycleName: Mortis Deus Machina (Death-Bringing God Machine) Element: Zanpakutō Spirit Appearance: [X]Inner World Appearance: Blake’s inner world is a never-ending plain covered in knee high grass and dotted with large cybernetic towers. Shikai: Mortis Deus Machina: Eques (Death-Bringing God Machine: Calvary)
Release Command: Suit up and overrun, Mortis Deus Machina: (Then either Eques or Paetoria).
Shikai Abilities:
Rider Mode: [X]Much like it’s sealed state, Mortis Deus Machina: Eques can transform into a motorcycle that is capable of achieving supersonic speed. He can fight with it as he does with his motorcycle in its sealed form or ride it. While riding it, Blake attacks using chain lancers that form not from his arms but the cycle itself, effectively causing himself to become a giant supersonic chain lancer. The sonic boom produced by Rider Mode's movement can disorient an opponent that is too close to the pressure wave causing a temporary stun effect. -Increases Agility-Speed to 16/15 -Can pierce up to 15/10 Heiro/Armor w/ chain lancers -Energy Drain: 2% per active post w/o chain lancers, 4% per active post w/chain lancers -Sonic boom stuns target with 10 or less endurance for 1 post Chain Lancers: These are the primary weapons for Eques. They take the form of four chainsaws that start about halfway down Blake’s forearms and extend past his hands. The chainsaws are angled so that they taper towards a point, and rotate at 6000 RPM with the chains being driven at the same speed, making them essentially a chainsaw drill. Whereas a lance would normally only be useful in thrusting, because the chain lancers are made of a series of rotating chainsaws they can be used in slashing situations as well, though they don’t actually slash instead grinding away chunks of the target. -Energy Drain: 2% per active post -Can pierce 14/10 Heiro/Armor base, but can pierce any level given enough time Railgun: This devastating kinetic energy weapon uses electromagnetic force to accelerate a 1-foot long 1-inch diameter RDX cored tungsten spike at Mach 10 to a target. Upon impact, the RDX explodes for a devastating one-two punch of armor penetration followed by immense damage. The downside to this weapon is its relatively long cooling time, high recoil that requires stabilization boosters to counteract, and high energy usage limiting it to a last resort combat option. -Penetrates any level of Heiro/Armor -Instantly kills anyone with 9 Endurance or less due to concussive liquefaction -Mortally wounds anyone with a 10~13 in Endurance -Severely injures anyone with a 14~15 in Endurance -Energy Drain: 20% per shot -Cooling Cycle: 4 posts by user Cloud Gatherer Turrets: These are four autonomous torus shaped objects that form the wheels of the Rider Mode. They move independently of each other at the user’s command. Their primary function is to emit lightning bolts that can be used to attack. They can be combined into a large cylinder that Blake uses to fire at large beam of pure electricity at a target he calls the Bolt Cannon. They drain fuel from the main reserves before disconnecting to act on their own and eventually run out and return to the user. -Can be released one by one up to all four -Lightning bolts equivalent to Hado #63 in power -Bolt Cannon equivalent to Hado #88 in power -Energy Drain: 5% Each -Active Duration: 5 posts by user

Bankai Abilities:
Kinetic Shielding: This is the primary mechanism that makes Praetoria so very defensive. Its armor has an energy field around it that prevents items from passing based on how much kinetic energy is behind them, making it capable of blocking even energy attacks. The stronger an attack is, the more effective the armor is at stopping it altogether. This does however make it essentially paper to weaker attacks, however. -Negates damage from any physical attack capable of piercing 12 or above in Heirro/Armor -Negates all energy based attacks -Energy Drain: 1% always active Lightning Circus: Fires a swarm of 10 micro missiles at a target or group of targets. The missiles themselves only do minor damage as it is a secondary effect. Their primary purpose is that of a long range taser of sorts. They actually have a heavy duty capacitor in them that discharges completely upon impact interrupting all nerve signals from the brain to the body and causing temporary paralysis. -Each missile stuns anyone with 13 or less Endurance for 1 post -Energy Drain: 15% per volley Lightning Wave Punch: Blake can charge his fists in Praetoria with lightning for a little bit of added damage. This also has a stun effect, albeit not as powerful as the Lightning Circus. -Added lightning simulates 11/10 strength for the purposes of damage only -Stuns anyone with 10 or less Endurance for 1 post -Energy Drain: 3% per use

Skills, Techniques, and Kidō Technology-Hardened Zanpakuto: Quite possibly the most notable thing about Blake. His Zanpakuto was not always as it was now. Before he lost his memories, it was a far weaker version of its current self named Eternity Knight with Eques making him a mounted knight and Praetoria making him a Paladin. While in the human world, he became obsessed with technology and even more so with science fiction until he began to wonder if it were possible for him to upgrade his Zanpakuto to incorporate a technology element. After spending 15 years trying and nearly losing his powers on multiple occasions, he finally managed to complete the process and gained the first Tech-Hardened Zanpakuto. The result was a Zanpakuto that was more powerful than normal, yet it has a fuel component in the form of the Reiastu he would normally emit as pressure. Once his Zanpakuto runs out of fuel it automatically seals itself and cannot be released again for at least 24 hours. Lateral Release: Even before his Zanpakuto was Tech-Hardened Blake’s was unique in that his bankai and shikai aren’t on two different levels of power. As they simply focus on different physical aspects, attack or defense, they equate each other in terms of overall power. Before the tech hardening process they were somewhere between a standard Shikai/Bankai setup in power. After the process they are slightly above a normal Bankai. Switching between the two forms takes at least one post. Heads Up Display: While his Zanpakuto is released Blake’s helmet provides him with a constant feed of various information such as: Altitude, speed, heading, a zooming target reticle, a leading reticle, target distance, weapon status, a Reiatsu pressure based radar, and most importantly remaining energy. Krav Maga Master: During his time AWOL in the human world Blake trained in Krav Maga under military experts in the art. He quickly picked up basic moves and principles of the CQC style that is essentially controlled streetfighting and now adds his own spin to it, taking to keeping opponents on the defensive before crushing them all together but still having the ability to counter and defend effectively if need be. Steel Plated Gloves/Boots Blake’s gloves and boots have small steel plates in their lining which increase the damage of his punches and kicks. This makes it seem as if he is armed with a sealed Zanpakuto at all times for the purpose of bypassing Armor/Heirro. No Reiatsu Pressure: Because Mortis Deus Machina uses the Reiatsu that would be his Reiatsu pressure as fuel, Blake naturally has none even when his Zanpakuto is released. This is part of the reason he has managed to go unseen in the human world for as long as he did. His Zanpakuto does, however, protect him from others’ Reiatsu pressure as if his did still exist. (Reiatsu Pressure is only 10 for the purpose countering other Reiatsu pressures otherwise it is treated as a 0) Attack/Defense Specialization: Each form of Blake’s Zanpakuto focuses on a different aspect through the release of stimulants, sedatives, adrenaline, etc. into his system. With Eques this gives him a boost in agility and physical strength at the cost of endurance and with Praetoria it gives him a boost in endurance at the cost of agility. Blake Base Stats Zanjutsu 5/10
