Alright! GMO Occult Operative Azana Jacobs here! As anyone who stops by knows, a lot of things go down at the Inn of Peace and the surrounding area! Leave for a convention, and BAM! You're so far behind it's overwhelming! Well, working with Zulma-san and Chairwoman Stevenson, we've forged an agreement to allow public access to the GMO Reports for the Inn of Peace!
How does it work? I will be updating this thread with major goings-on at the Inn, such as new arrivals, weddings, epic boss fights...for all those people who may have missed out!
Secondly! I will respond to specific requests for updates if you can tell me when you were gone (estimate a page for me so I know where to start off).
Now, I have but one question for you: Should I retroactively include summaries of previous events, or just start from here on? Vote above; I'll close the poll on...*shudder* Halloween.
((Oh, one final note: If ever I am away for such an event, I will set up a substitute, promise! Also, I'll do the fancy graphics stuff later.))

The IoP's Origins The Inn of Peace was founded Halloween 2009, forever marked in history as the time when two demigods, supported by their fanatical cults, waged war across Gaia. No more was this more concentrated than on the Plains of Torment; they were so scarred by magic, saltwater, and demonic toxin that they remain to this day completely uninhabitable, a wasteland of ruined buildings and a testament to the need for peace. In the midst of it all, a woman by the name of Zulma opened an Inn, accepting all who yearned for even a temporary reprieve from the fight outside. Members of both the Benevolent Order and the Infernal Nation could be found in the place, and though tensions rode high with their co-habitation, fights were rare. As things began to settle back into what Gaians consider normal, the Inn remained, fueled by people who came to be regulars during the conflict as well as its strange way of attracting new faces from all walks of life. Almost a full year old at the point of this narrative, the Inn's original mission still stands: to be a sanctuary for all who seek peace and rest...as long as you don't seem to mind a little magic, mad science, mayhem, and romance on the side.

The Wake of the War: IoP's Early Days (Nov. 2009 - Early December 2009) The early days of the Inn of Peace were marked by a buzz of activity as well as residual problems from the Cult Clash between the Benevolent Order and the Infernal Nation. For the first few days, there was an overwhelming anxiety for a multitude of reasons. First of all, no one knew the results of the war itself; this soon settled into an adjustment, as SIN turned out to be the victor despite the survival and sealing of both demigods. Concerns abounded around Zefi and Kageko, the former because of her age and royal status, and the latter due to her rather dangerous assignment as a spy and the brand she incurred through it. The Inn was frequented by many, from the interesting romance between Ale and Aris to Knightsoul, Legend, Ultima...the list easily numbers into about twenty. There was much in the way of music, chats, and a rather peaceful (if concerned) air to the building. Angeles was keeping up with a relatively steady stream of vampire bounties, from Crimson von Helson to one of her own family, Jonathan Valentine. Neither of them went down easy, and she was offered leadership of her family, one she declined with little hesitation. Zulma had a sweetheart at this point, a man by the name of Karasu (where he left to, no one knows), but she was haunted by a nightmare involving her twin brother, her sweetheart, and two gentlemen who would grow not only to be husbands but fellow Innkeepers: Grencia Eckener and Eliwood MacPere. Happy Birthday, IoP! (October 2010, 1708-1917) New Faces:Kamer/Ramek - A pair of souls in a single form, switching each day at midnight (player's time) with a major cosmetic change to indicate which is active. He is very perceptive, reading personality and ability in body language and expression like a pro. Evalyn - A young woman with a huge crush on the two. She has magical capabilities and can fence relatively well. Howard Llars - Unofficial Inn Chef. Almost never seen with a shirt. Foster father of Albee. Albee - A 5000-year-old djinn in the form of a child...at least until he gets soda in him. He randomly jumps physical form from child, to teen, to adult, to his true djinn form. Admires "Doctor" Howard as a sort of father figure and has a budding relationship with the chaos-wielding Charlotte. Felix Bengali - Enta's brother, recently "released" from the Ward. No, he's not all better, but he couldn't stand to be away from Enta. Claude - Only showed up once or twice, but he's Eleanora's fiance! Apparently, MacPere set the two up. Always playing matchmaker, he is! Devyn - Self-proclaimed secondary bartender (and bounty hunter), this outgoing young man has a horrible memory and slight amnesia. Lestat - Devyn's friend and companion, he is more reserved and is known to sometimes function as his friend's reminders. He is also an accomplished sniper. Aaron/Osiris - A pair who was only seen once and never apart. New Places:Plot Points:- Enta's brother, Felix, is released from the ward where he had been for the previous decade, causing lots of anxiety for the younger Bengali. - Enra, at that point a keeper of dreams, tries to help by pulling out and storing a dream-image of Felix, getting him in trouble with his superiors. After an interesting trial in which he faces all the dreams he has taken, he returns to the Inn, now stripped of his power. Whitesteel transfers into Enta's care. - Eliwood MacPere, still bitter about Alex's confession (which turned out to be mistaken), leaves the Inn, refusing to return until the author's permanent departure. - Gren finds out about MacPere's brief episode of infidelity and confronts him about it. As a first condition of redemption, MacPere resigns from the GMO, to Kristen's surprise and Stella's anguish. This whole situation culminated in a violent display of anger from Gren and a moment of madness from Eli (a couple days later in November). - The GMO team at the Inn of Peace finds out there is a plot against them, led by Sosol and Kristen's oracle "sister" Sibyl. A full third of the organization, under her influence, targeted half the team one-by-one, narrowly failing each time to eliminate the agent in question. Stella, her willpower eroded by her own amplified negativity, was subdued with the intention of using her to resurrect her father and former Chair, Charles Stevenson. A rescue team of five (Azana, Sosol, Tyler, Kristen, Charlotte) stop the ritual, retrieve Stella, and put Charles' vengeful spirit to rest. Sibyl leaves the GMO, revealing her real name to be Marilyn. - Thanks to Charlotte, the Inn now has an drink machine made from the remains of an old Zurg ship! Enjoy!

November 2010, 1917-2160(Title Pending) New Faces: - Laimu, who can't seem to speak without rhyming unless wearing a special collar. - Myras, a deceptively young mage with a penchant for inner dialogue and copious journal entries. - Terry Raines, a chain-weapon specialist from the GMO who's currently head over heels about the CEO, Stella Stevenson. The feeling isn't mutual. - Io, an assassin who seems to be quite adept with various poisons. New Places:- The Good Lady's Home for the Mentally Incapacitated: The psych ward that Felix was kept captive in for ten years. All is not as it seems there... Plot Points:- The news of Angeles' demise continues to spread, with varying reactions. Chris seems to be taking it worst of all, seeing it as a personal failure and swearing vengeance on those responsible. - Gren collapsed outside Stella's house, much to the alarm of the CEO and Gren's husband, Eliwood. The cause was revealed to be a stress-induced ulcer, one that was likely months in the making. Stella was able to heal most of the damage, but sustained minor injuries of her own in the process from resistance to her aid. - Enra and Enta continue that fine dance of being lovers while trying to hide their relationship from the insanely protective and jealous Felix. - On a similar note, Charlotte and Albee seem to be doing a bit of the same, though the relations there are still relatively light-hearted. - Tyler, finding out the name of the ward that kept Felix, asked Max to find what she could about the place and the guards who were sent after the patron. What she found was far worse than they figured, prompting a rather unified plan to shut the place down permanently. - However, the Warden and her henchmen stuck first, stealing Enta away from his own room and throwing Felix into a frenzied pursuit. Now having both brothers, what is likely the largest team to date went to both free the hundreds of patients trapped within those walls and bring down the Warden and her staff. There were mild injuries, but no actual casualties (a fact that Tyler attributes to his brilliant planning). Unfortunately, one of the Warden's right-hand men turned out to be a time paradox of Enta Bengali himself. He came with a warning concerning the Fifth Horseperson, hoping to prevent the future he came from from ever coming to pass. - Meanwhile, Enra ran off to defend his company from a zealous cousin, apparently dying in the process. After three days, he returned, alive but with a strange mark upon his body... - November Birthdays! Azana Jacobs turned 24 on 11/10, and Eliwood MacPere turned 44 (though he'll claim 34 to most) on 11/27!
